- Calling all sonic sculptors, your tools have arrived. And now it’s time to make new legends. Maestro, the legendary Founder of Effects, is back with an all-new line of pedals - the Maestro Original Collection - that are designed to help you Shape Your Sound.
In this video, Maestro’s Dinesh Lekhraj takes a look at and demonstrates the all-new Maestro Invader Distortion. Venturing into super hi-gain territories, the Invader is a high gain modern distortion with an aggressive sonic character. Having the ability to obtain a wide variety of distorted tones ranging from British crunch, metal, modern metal, and pushing into big thick fuzz inspired realms. If you are looking for a versatile easy to dial-in hi-gain distortion pedal that will push through the mix, has aggressive articulation, and an onboard noise gate to keep things quiet whether you are using humbuckers or single coils, this is the box for you.
The Invader Distortion is part of the Maestro Original Collection. This line of five new pedals is designed, voiced, and styled for the musician who is looking to shape their own unique sound. A tribute to the sound and style of the brand’s much-beloved classic models from the 60s and 70s, with modern features, expanded versatility, and advanced tone-tweaking capabilities.

ABOUT MAESTRO
Maestro, the founder of effects, created the world’s first fuzz pedal in 1962 - the Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-1. It set the entire guitar pedal world into motion and changed modern music forever. Maestro’s influence has shaped music as we know it, from The Rolling Stones to the Raconteurs, Pete Townshend to George Harrison, Clapton to Frampton, and the Foo Fighters to the Black Keys. Maestro has been there from the beginning to help artists achieve their signature sound. When Gibson brought Maestro into the world 60 years ago, no one could have predicted its trailblazing success. Now, after decades, Gibson has revived the brand, and a revitalized Maestro that leverages its iconic past and leans into an innovative future has returned to help a new generation of musicians shape their sound. Glad I stayed up late and caught this lol. Need it!! Sounds amazing.
Same
Dinesh!!! My brother !!! Great video . So killer to see you handling it for Gibson !!
最初の音で心掴まされた...いい音。
I'm thrilled that Gibson now has amps and pedals. The new pedals are gorgeous, very reminiscent of the 60s style and are both sturdy and functional in their design. The price isn't bad but a major rival is also releasing new pedals with similar functionality.l but at a much lower price. Their demos are not up yet but this is going to be a big showdown. I hope they both sell well, particularly Gibson. I want them to re-issue the Lab amps in some form 🙃
+1 on the reissue of Lab amps.
This sounds pretty rad. I dig it
Invading my pedal board soon!!
Every. Metal. Player. Needs. THIS!! 🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻
Naa, I think the distortion is way too loose sounding, also sounds a bit fizzy
@@zekkari27It's incredibly versatile tho
My jaw dropped this pedal sounds great I need to get this.🤔🤘😈💥🍻
Dinesh! 🤟
Excellent ☮️ Just read the description. Fillmore 50. Optical confusion🧐
I can’t believe being from Gibson these are actually affordable. I’m sure though if they had named them Gibson pedals they would probably be like $399 each! Lol!
Probably made in China. Can’t get an answer anywhere.
I did not see this one coming 😳
This guy Dinesh rocks!! Cool pedals 🤘
Damn Awesome sounding pedal .. And it won't kill the Wallet. Awesome Job
Nothing against the pedals but these videos are like 90s late night infomercials.
Switch has a real nice sound! Hopefully they're real heavy too.
Oh my god I need one 😭🤘🏻
Is this the same company that developed Echoplexes (Ep-1, Ep-2 & Ep-3 Tape delay)? if so, I'm in!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dig It! Sounds pretty damn good!
I like the idea of a built in noise gate but I don't know, sounds fizzy
Now for the million dollar question: What country is it manufactured at?
The threshold pot should have been accessible through a hole in the back or something, just so you don't have to take the pedal apart to get at it. Just me though.
Would this be perfect to use as a overdrive booster? I was thinking of getting a colorsound overdriver but then i notice this guy
pedals like these were missing...
Hope Gibson will make soon the super MAESTRO STAGE PHASER !
I thought that was Adam Jones for a split sec. Cool pedals though
Sounds like a beefed up DS1 to me. Nothing new or unique. But the price seems fair love wedge style pedals.
So fizzy, it doesn't know what it wants to be....
By Bob Cobb.
Is this basically similar to a RAT?
With more range I guess
Dunlop Rules the vintage reissue pedal business they have for decades and they own majority of the rights to these vintage pedals
Nobody told Gibson that in order to sell pedals you have to either give the impression of being a summer camp commune or be Boss.
Maybe just me, but shouldn't there be a metal demo of a high-gain pedal? There's nothing even remotely "modern" about this demo :/
Filter pedal
This sounds freaking horrible. Such an obvious cash grab. The run will be sold out before people realize how bad they are, and Maestro will wait another 45 years for people to forget before they put out another
Never knew great grandpa's amp could sound awesome
wow. surprisingly bad. no thanks
I cant decide what is worse. The art design or his haircut
So how is this relevant? And who is the parachute pants man
It's relevant because someone put a famous name on some irrelevant crap using mediocre designs to sell to people who don't know better.
It's as relevant as any commercial
🤣 ‘Relevant’ ? 🙄
this is actually cool.
i'm glad gibson finally gave up making instruments; masetro effects no-one asked for.
now, that's cool!
Bet you wish Gibson has never used the Maestro name for literal garbage guitars a few yrs back. That's what most people associate the name with.
Never even heard of them, sorry.
I used to see Maestro guitars at Target near the electronics section
@@nathanielvargas3863 yeah at mejers lmao.
They had pedals too back then but I never tried em. But yeah they basically put the maestro name under epiphone with that move lmao
Wouldn't waste my money on any Gibson product
Seriously save your money.. Get a Boss DS-1 it can make all these sounds for $50
