I got my Dearmond Tremolo control at 8 years old in 1971 when my family moved into a new house. The previous owners left a few boxes of "junk" in the garage. It was 7 years later when I started playing guitar and finally figured out what it was.

I don't know heaps about Guild other than Muddy Waters is pictured with a black one, and I just bought a powder blue Starfire (a recent reissue) to play out with, as my old Harmony's are starting to kvetch about being too old for late nights. That's what bothers me. You want to cover another person's song? Awesome. Give the original credit.
Slade was put on the map after Quiet Riot covered their song AND gave them credit.

I totally dig the sound of the snare. The whole drum kit sounds great, but the snare kills it. And I’m not even a drummer.
How do you get such a lovely dry drum sound in a room that seems to consist of blank walls?

Gee Willikers, I dig your song titles and jams. They show off the best usage of the effects in context and are just the right length. You make learning fun. For music in general, I think maybe it's a toss up between reverb and delay. How dry it would all be without them! Oh, and thank you for answering last week. I do love you more.

@@patricksommer3971 Well everybody's entitled to their own opinion but it doesn't really matter who you like better. Zeppelin came first, so anyone trying to copy their sound (be it either intentionally or unintentionally through taking inspiration or whatever) is always gonna be "kinda like Zeppelin" despite who you like best.

Question 1) you stole my thunder for early cranked and distorting guitar. Nothing beats those Howlin Wolf Sun and Chess tracks. Hubert Sumlin was pretty special - although I think Willie Johnson might still be the main man on that record before he didn't want to move to Chicago with Wolf.
    2) Uni-Vibe is the bomb. Best effect all day long. Other stuff can sound great, then you turn the vibe on and just accept the truth.
