Good video! I was a little confused by the intermittent fasting schedule as far as start time and end time. Are you breaking your fast when you have coffee w/ milk or when you eat your first meal? Anywho I'll definitely be making cabbage shrimp tacos ASAP!
Hey! Thanks for watching ☺️ I usually start eating around 12 and end eating at 7/8, so I keep a 7/8 hour eating window on most days. Technically, you should be drinking black coffee on a fast as it’s very little calories and doesn’t break your fast, as some people argue that adding milk breaks the fast. I don’t really agree with that because adding milk consists of 10-20 calories for me. That way, you’re breaking your fast as soon as you eat your first food! And yes try the cabbage tacos! You can also make them with chicken👍🏼
Thanks for this! I've done a fair bit or research about the coffee thing and whether it breaks the fast or not. It seems to be 50/50 on each side.. So I think at the end of the day it kinda just matters whether it works for you or not.. I know that black coffee on an empty stomach can be quite harsh for the acidity balance etc.
I’ve also found the same about the acidity balance! I’ve actually been having raw juices on some mornings instead of having coffee. Honestly, it depends on what works for you. Sometimes I don’t follow a strict fast & that seems to work for me !!
