Expected the title to be sarcastic. Nope. Holy shit I've beaten this game more times than I can bother to count and I've NEVER ever had the whole thing to go according to plan, like never. You just up and went & killed 'em all with your traps. All of them. In one go. Perfect trap indeed.
You only need two blast trip wires. connect one to one log pile and same for the other log pile then go over to other side and use a bomb blast to scare them then use harvest arrows on blaze
To be honest I didn't do it like this I compressed them to one spot and when I ran the herd I took care of them in about 33 second I respect this though because it takes down all of them my method let two escape.
Being about to pick up traps and tripwires is part of the skill tree. You don't have to play ng+ to get the skill. If fact based on his weapon I would say this wasn't ng+ since his weapon is the basic one.
@@ronaldchristiancomisio323 Once you leave mother's gate, basically the entire map is open to you. You can run to meridian and get the whole arsonal along the way without fighting a single machine. (minus 3 corrupted areas)
Man, I love the this game's story, but I'm completly bad in it. I need to put on "story" mode very often cause I really suck in this game hahaha. I see these kind of videos, and everyone fights so briliantly, and then there's me, who just run against them, shots 10000 times at them and end up dying 10 times...
I was pretty similar, i beat the game on easy but it was very tough, especially when it came to shards and resource managament. And rhe frozen wilds is insane, even on 'easy" it was tearing me apart and took forever to beat Then when i did new game plus i chose story mode, but that in addition to the upgraded weapons that comewith new game plus almost made it too easy sometimes. But as soon as I went back to "easy" i got wrecked again lol Basically i feel theres too much of a gap between story difficulty and easy difficulty, i kinda wish there was a setting in between the two haha
takes time to adjust to this game. fighting gigantic robot animals is crazy intimidating and that is a factor. just put the main quest on hold and just go explore and practice practice practice. One thing that's nice about this game is if you fuck up its easy to run away and try again.
There's no shame to that. That is why the developers have implemented the Story Mode difficulty, nobody will be mad at you if you use it. Also, if you have a problem with aiming at weakpoints, I suggest you to use the slow mo skill a lot, it helped me too. Additionally, you should always use elemental weaknesses of monsters against them, use the three type of bows. For the normal bow: dump fire mods into it, war bow - dump freeze and shock mods into it, sharpshooter bow, go for the raw dmg.
@@jonastraxel7596 Yeah, this is the major problem for me: aiming at the weakpoints, but with practice I'm slowly getting better. Discovering the weakness of every weakpoint is the new problem for me now, because I barely have time to protect myself and dodge in the middle of the fight, but I discovered something that could help if anyone has the same problems as me, go to the diary on the menu where you have the sources and stuff. Also, buying better weapons is the answer, I didn't pay atention to it. Unfortunatly I just realized all that after ending the game, and I'm just getting better now, where I'm just exploring the map and finishing what was left to do, but anyway, I'll start the whole game again soon, because it's totally worth it 😊
@@karolmezzomo2083 Yes, buying better weapons is crucial and also dont forget about the weapon mods, they may be game-changing. I dont know if you noticed but at the scrapper sites the loot respawns and it's usually some good mods. I had my favourite scrapper site at the end of that valley to the southwest of Rost's house, with the fallen airplane, I went there a couple of times and there was always new loot, new mods, which helped me a lot. I also managed to gather armor mods and then kept a few different armors with different resistances to quickly change depending on which enemy attacked me. Dont forget to drink resistance potions as well. I played the game twice and in my first playthrough I ignored the potions and I just had one armor, big mistake 😄 I think I was too stressed from all the attacks I didnt think much about the strategies and had to finish it on easy difficulty. Second time I was more confident and tried all possible weapons and combinations, my most favourite was 1) shoot their armor off with tearblaster 2) then freeze them with arrows or bombs which makes them weaker to regular damage 3) then shoot fast with regular arrows. I also started using ropecaster especially on flying enemies only on my second run because I just couldnt comprehend and master everything on my first try. I had to practice on weak enemies how to properly use the ropecaster but it was worth it. On my second run I finished with normal difficulty 💪🙂
I cheesed this one. I walked right to them and used the traps directly under their feet. No chasing or anything. Why? Because I could never do what you did. It would not happen. Sigh…
@Clifford I would say you have a very low tolerance for what constitutes cheating. All he did was to do some preparation before starting the trial. There is no rule in the game that says you can't do that. He's not even using glitches. And even if we say this is cheating it's still possible within the parameters of the game which makes my original statement stand.
@Clifford Aloy may be cheating the rules of the trials in the game world but as a gamer interacting in that world you don't necessarily have to follow the moral code of that world. It's a natural part of role playing - you decide (to some extend) what type of character Aloy is.
@Clifford I'm just joking that he stole my footage coz i didn't record my gameplay, but i really did use this same strategy in this location to take all the machines down at once.
Is this really that amazing...? Just shoot the log pile with an arrow when the herd is about to near the kill box. Log pile pretty much one shots even on Very Hard mode.

Beautiful. Just a shame for all that blaze to go unharvested
Well, you can shoot it off the corpses with the harvesting arrows, so not all is lost :)
the logpile trial was so hard. took me about 20 attempts before I got any medals
Logpile was the easiest for me, the blasting one is hardest personally
