OC: Definitely be a purchase. Doesn't matter if it doesn't come with a up/down quickshifter. Especially since it's a easy add on after purchasing the bike. For the price it's hard to beat for what you're getting. CFMoto really is knocking it outta the park with their bikes.
Just bought one last Friday 😅 It's been a fun 800 miles so far. The app shows stats, bike location, vibration notice, etc. One of the reasons I opted for this over other bikes. A little peace of mind is nice when they're so easy to steal. Rain mode for bad conditions, sport for traffic and city due to less torque, and sport for highway. To add to the 4000 rpm thing, it is not a fan of chilling below 4500-5500. Which is rough in bad traffic, so use I rain mode for stop and go. Lastly, the other colorway has some gems to it. There is flake in some of the paint with bronze features throughout.
@@Ergotfungi here in China we have 3 models, or "tiers" I guess? We call the most expensive one the ipad model cause you can do like on screen navigation and stuff. Also comes with a quick shifter and steering dampener I believe. Do you guys have a similar situation or is it only "add ons"?
@@christiaanburger2205 As of now, only one model is available in the USA, it has no adjustable TC, no quickshifter, no steering damper from stock. There is a kind-of wheelie control, but it is not adjustable.
Picked one up on Tuesday for $7750 usd, i'm absolutely loving it so far. Cfmoto sells a plug and play quick shifter for 200 and a steering dampener for 350. So you can still get it for cheaper then most even with those upgrades.
The NK bikes look muscular and composed. Alot of the Japanese bikes are over designed kinda, like theirs no smooth lines, my eyes dont know where to go. The CFmoto NK looks like an actual designer got a say in it.

I just bought the 800NK after a test ride last week. I experienced everything you just talked about, and i think it's going to be great. This will be my 29th bike i have owned, not the last. I test rode the NK like early early release. It rode great. Throttle modes were nice, cruise was nice. Lacking a QS was a big loss. Clutch felt weird, but maybe it was just needing to break-in. Ended up waiting to see what the market did. Bought a GSX-8R and love it.
ive had mine for about a month and 500 miles so far, ive added the quick shifter and steering damper, love the bike so far, it goes good, and throwing it into corners feels so good, also sport mode is a blast at all times as long as youa rent on and off throttle, its kinda choppy, also if you dont plan on having a passenger the passenger peg delete blocks from ali express work to hold the bodywork on and fix the problem of the right foot peg getting in the way of your foot
Ever since he revealed he got the gopro footage and the camera car footage in different rides I have never seen these videos the same lol. Albeit genius effect.
I just put 1000kms on my sport model. Here in Aus we get the sport and advanced model but honestly, the sport is fine without a QS and all the other toys. Personally for me, I like to actually “ride” my bike using the clutch etc. and in sport mode it’s not twitchy at all but give it a good twist and the thing just flies!
@@robbessell3922 the sport model has the smaller screen without CarPlay but you can still see who’s calling, music playing, directions and you can also answer and end calls using the dpad on the left handlebar. I personally didn’t like the massive screen the advanced model has.
OC: This bike looks and sounds great. CFmoto is a real contender. I bought the Ibex and its a good bike. Not perfect but really good for the price. I think i wouldve preferred this bike, being lighter and a naked and still having cruise control. It stock sounding exhaust is much better than the ibex evem though both use the 790 motor.
I am seriously looing at this one, and looks like the 790 duke catalytic converter midpipe will fit to take off the 6 pounds that comes with it and unleash the roar. Sure wish the Advanced model was here at the states.
I just bought a 2022 650NK with 1 mile on odometer brand new out the door for $5800. I was going to buy this 800NK but for the money, the 650NK was a better choice for me. It rides great and I didn't spend a ton for it. Gorgeous bike and I couldn't be happier. Really impressed with CF Moto atm. Brakes are great and The power is good from midrange to top end. 650NK gets most of its power from 7000rpm -10000. Almost feels like Honda VTEC... Lol it's kind of addictive...lol I've had the bike for 3 weeks and have over 1500 miles on it already. Did first service and everything has been flawless so far.
BTW I have a 0-60 function on my GPS app and can tell you the times are equal in both Street and Sport modes. Sport is just more jumpy but they both wind out the same. (~3 seconds 0-60). I just ride around in street mode nowadays. But I do love the off-throttle pop I get in sport.
Looks good, but... 17:02 (more or less), sleeve in RH fork jumped, then returned in place. Is that normal? I don't know if it has arrived in the US, but in Europe CFMoto has an "Advance" version, with Bosch fueling, steering damper and bidirectional quick shifter.

Hahha you are crazy/ I just bought the 800NK advanced as my main motorcycle let it warm a few minutes, put it on sport mode and you will have an amazing sound on 800nk adevanced, you can switch modes while riding rain mode is very usefoul in conditions where you would need traction control, as example slippering road Driving modes are actually very relevant at this motorcycle, as example street mode to be used in city, less vibrations, more smooth and less RPM (less heat) Good review! 💪💪
Im surprised you didnt get the advanced model to test. I have one and it comes with a steering dampener and bidirectional quick shifter among other things. Great bikes.
OC: If the 800NK came to the states with a quick shifter and steering stabilizer standard, it would have been an easy win. I'll stick with my MT09 for while longer I suppose.

Have the advanced version for 8mos. And 6k kms on it. I got full exhaust on it and remap(not race tune just fixed the afr mixture after going full exhaust), installed aftermarket pegs for duke 790. I can't ask for more.

OC there is fork dampener bushing flopping around above the brake caliper on the fork that is one of the reasons your feeling a vibration in the handle bars

It's the same exact model brake and tires as Ducati street fighter use, and I had rode a late model street fighter. That brake's actually an overkill for the 700 bike. I'd be surprised if the J Juan on 800nk would be any better. Yes, I meant to say brakes and tires. I basically bought that bike just for the brake and tires for it's price. Suspension seems to be similar.

MT09 is better overall but the price difference its like 4000$ so... depends on budget. pretty sure the new 890s or 990s from cfmoto wil be better than mt09 though..

The advance version will not let you wheelie because it has traction control and you can't turn it off I guess what they call the sport version in the state's doesn't have traction control so you can wheelie all day long if ya want
I like this version, but here we got the up spec version that comes with inner build stabilizers, and the TFT is a mini Ipad. Hence not my option. waiting for the CFMoto 675SR-R or 500SR Voom.
OC... once I've been riding for a while, this might be an option. As someone who is doing INSANE amounts of research into a potential first bike... definite pass as a first ever bike. It’s a good looking bike - I am excited and optimistic to see how their reputation for reliability develops in the American market. Would definitely consider a few in their lineup based on aesthetics and performance per dollar, but I’m to skiddish with my shmeckles to early adopt 😅

The advanced one comes with a quickshifter but you can still retrofit it you just need the part number for the sensor
All the issues you said about the steering dampner, quickshifter an traction control are all on the NK800 Advanced

Very good. This is basically the 790 engine but detuned 10hp. Which means less stress on the engine.

I like this version, but here we got the up spec version that comes with inner build stabilizers, and the TFT is a mini Ipad. Hence not my option. waiting for the CFMoto 675SR-R or 500SR Voom.

OC... once I've been riding for a while, this might be an option. As someone who is doing INSANE amounts of research into a potential first bike... definite pass as a first ever bike. It definitely looks like it's insanely fun, though. Thank you for yet another great video, I'm hoping you do a first ride on the 450 CL-C when it finally comes out. It’s a good looking bike - I am excited and optimistic to see how their reputation for reliability develops in the American market. Would definitely consider a few in their lineup based on aesthetics and performance per dollar, but I’m to skiddish with my shmeckles to early adopt 😅
I have had their CLX 700 sport since last year and 4,500 miles. No issues so far and it's a lot of fun to ride. Not bad for $5,999 (sale price)

Well this is weird. I’m going to trade my 450 SS for this bike but the one I saw in the dealer has a steering damper included and the dashboard is different, way bigger with portrait layout 👀

i got this as my first bike and its perfect...after 1000km with it i can safely run in sport mode even in town :)) but street mode its the most balanced
