- Student from Brooklyn International HS got out on the streets to see how people react and treat Muslims. Does Islamophobia really plays a big role in our country? Did banning 7 Muslim nations changed people's mind about Islam? These are the questions that led this experiment. These kind of experiment have done before but now the issue, islamophobia plays a huge role in the country because of the person in power. However, people will always be united as humans and be there to support each other. This is an example.

Hello, I'm an Indian of Thai ethnicity from the North East Region and a Christian. I'm sure that You must have heard about what's going on between India and Pakistan right now, so we are almost automatically supposed to hate Muslims( atleast according to politics). But we don't, atleast not the people from other faiths that I know of. I've lived and worked in the cities here in my country for more than 8 years now but as human beings, we don't hate you. It's a fact.
I have muslim friends who are some of the warmest people I've ever known. With the constant terrorism and the rise of islamophobia in the world, i just really felt like i must tell you this because i know it's tough time for you guys in many parts of the world. Please know that you are loved.

Love what you stand for. I am a veteran of 2 branches who served during and after 9/11 and I am currently a college student and one of my current courses is one discussing terrorism. I have NEVER been prejudicial against anyone but noticed since 9/11 prejudice against Muslims and Middle Easterners has risen and become a great deal more apparent. Having said that, through my class, I have gotten to know and understand Muslim and Islam more in-depth than I did before. I can say, personally, these individuals who are experiencing such sad treatment are WONDERFUL people, many who I have been proud to come to know. The actions that have caused such a shameful and depressing situation has stemmed from individuals who have taken their beliefs and transformed them into hate and evil by misinterpretation and radicalism, sadly though, many have taken that and transferred it to everyone who looks similar or believes in the true meaning of those who have turned it into what it was not. GREAT THING YOU HAVE DONE AND MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT!
