The Sahih Hadiths like Al-Bukhari & Muslim have texts and descriptions that is truly shocking.
Don’t get me wrong, the Old Testament (pre-Jesus) also has several disturbing verses involving killing women and children & slavery. But I take refuge from the fact that that was the old covenant just for the Israelites & the way Jesus lived bought in a new covenant that we all had to obey.

What I love most about the story of Mary in Quran is that it focuses on Mary and her story and her suffering, highlighting her devotion and sacrifice in the path of God, not like it’s counterpart from the New Testament or even the Hebrew Bible, it’s just amazing how Quran spoke about those aspects that most of the other books didn’t really give attention
Hope you read about Mary in the Bible. Where did Muhammad get that information? He was dead before the Quran was written. And from what I read the quran was destroyed and parts were saved on leaves ect. but much was not found. So who inserted what was missing? They made up what was missing? they had had to.

It is in the heart of the Muslims who have memorized it even before it was written. Whenever a new verse or chapter came to Prophet Muhammad PBUH , he will eventually memorize it so the one who wrote it and so the other Muslims. It was written on leaves, backbones. when the book was compiled into a book after prophet Muhammad (PBUH) died...the one with who memorized helped to compile it and for each verse there was a certain amount of witnesses just to make sure they are correct and there is no false verse that someone is making.

Hello brother, i know it’s been a month since you last commented however I’ve saw that no one has responded. Now the answer is simple. It is true that there are some similarities between the Qur'an and the Bible, but this does not indicate that later prophets plagiarized from former ones. It merely reflects the common source, which is the Creator of mankind, and the continuance of His basic message of monotheism. Moreover, there was no Arabic version of the Bible in existence at the time of Prophet Muhammad.
Not only that, but our prophet, prophet Mohammed peace be upon him was illiterate, thus, he could not be credited with composing or editing the revelations, and suspicion that he learned what he preached from earlier scriptures is eliminated.

As someone who was brought up with a Christian mother and made to go to church as a child but never felt like that religion connected with me I would love to be out one day and see someone doing a open conversation about Islam. With everything that is happening in the world right I’ve personally felt like Islam is the only thing left that is pure and true to its roots. By no mean am I claiming to be Muslim but I’ve been watching many videos like this one and felt a very strong interest in it and wold love to be able to speak to someone like this and learn way more. I’ve never gone out my way to speak to someone as I believe if I meant to join this religion then god himself with send someone to guide me.

Who is this allah that Mohammed worshiped? We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.

But I am interested in what Mohammed did according to the islamic sources. We see that Mohammed bowed down in worship to the Kaaba when the Kaaba was a shrine dedicated to the worship of 360 pagan idol gods, just like the pagans did. We know Mohammed did his pilgrimage to the Kaaba just like the pagans did when all these idol gods were being worshipped there. We know that Mohammed kissed the black stone just like the pagan idol worshippers did. We know that Mohammed walked around the Kaaba just like the pagan idol worshippers did.

It should be clarified regarding what brother Ali said: "Allah does not forgive shirk". Which is true as Allah said:
"Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allāh has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." Surah Nisa (4:48)
However, it should be clarified that this is the case if one dies upon the belief having not repented for it and believed in the oneness of Allah.
Allah said regarding those who die as disbelievers will not be forgiven:
"But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.". Surah An-Nisa 4:18
Surah Al-Zumar 39:53 “Say: ‘O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful’”. Surah al-Zumar 39:53
Allah says below, Surah al-Furqaan 25:68-70, that the ones who invoke other than Allah, kill without right and commit fornication will be punished, except those who repent, included in this passage is shirk.
“And those who invoke not any other ilaah (god) along with Allaah, nor kill such person as Allaah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.
The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;
Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allaah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”
Another passage of the Qur'an [al-Maa'idah 5:73-74], where Allah addresses the christians and their shirk and calls them to repent:
“Surely, disbelievers are those who said: “Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).” But there is no Ilaah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilaah (God -Allaah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.
74. Will they not turn with repentance to Allaah and ask His forgiveness? For Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”
Christians, for 600 years before Muhammad and 1400 years since then have only believe and taught about One True God.
before that, Jews were strict monotheists too for around 3000 years before Mohammad.
So, when we see this warning about saying God is "1/3rd" who is that referring to? Perhaps some heretical strange Christian-like sect? Some Pagans? It doesn't refer to Christians so who can it be talking to?

In the New Testament: Mark 12:29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."
In the Qur'an: Surah Ikhlas 112:1-4 "Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."".
As for what you ask, the christians have unfortunately gone astray stating that God is one of three, one in three or one a part of three. As many denominations of christianity affirm and believe in what they call the trinity, of which is nowhere to be found in the bible.
The Roman Catholic Church affirms the doctrine of the trinity, believing in God as three persons.
Likewise does the eastern orthodox church, the anglican church, lutheran church, baptist church, methodist and how many other denominations have you.
There was no such thing as the trinity in the early and first 300 years of christianity, no early church father believed this nor taught this. Rather, the term was coined by Tertullian, a latin theologian from Carthage, in his writings around the early 3rd century. The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE and the Council of Constantinople in 381 CE played their roles in shaping the orthodox understanding of the Trinity within Christianity. These councils clarified and affirmed the belief in one God existing in three persons.
Thus Allah stated in surah an-nisa 4:171
"O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allāh except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allāh and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allāh and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allāh is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allāh as Disposer of affairs.
