pls do ur research on Belgium before yapping like the average twitter user, new gen is coming and are still good..
Mokio, Karetsas hopefully, duranville and that's already defense midfield and attack .. and don't get me started on our current squad.
this ' golden generation" is a result of a reformation of Belgian football. ( and ofc hazard, de bruyne are in a million ..)
Belgium will always suck bro
Yes good players may be coming, great even, but that doesn’t mean they are golden. Golden Generation meant that everything came together for a generation to emerge who actually could be among the absolute best, be one of the absolute favorites and actually win a tournament.
That’s over and even with good new players you don’t just reach that level.
The golden gen ended with hazard, their best ever player, being constantly injured.
But De Bruyne wasn't constantly injured.
@@QuentinMajor it looked like he was during the 2018 world cup. I forgot he played there.
@@QuentinMajorDe Bruyne never has been Belgium best player for the national team. It was Hazard and now is Lukaku
@@user-bs3gq6pm3w He's always been their best player. Fatzard ghosted every big game, and Lukaku is Lukaku 💀
@@QuentinMajor hazard was their best player pretty easily when both played.
Lakaka strikes again 😂😂
Golden generation was wasted when they appointed Martinez.. same is happing with USA and Berhalter.. obviously we dont compare to Belgium but our best pool of talent ever is going to waste.
I want them to win it because of Debrunyne... he deserves an international trophy to complete the best midfielder in the world after Iniesta
Lmao
If Debruyne really step up out of Hazard's shadow. This is his moment
Where is the pirlo
Maybe if he didn't throw his team mates under the bus at the last tournament like a child they may have done better without him wrecking team morale. He isn't close to Iniesta or Xavi. Have a day off, they won everything.
Belgium are the world and European champions of friendlies 😂
Oh please Engl@nd's "gOLdEn gEnErAtiOn" couldn't do SQUAT too 😂
My god, this guy is relentless in his obsession with England! Do you ever think about anything else? All day, every day it's England on the tiny brain
This video is about Belgium.
Don't understand these pundits. Belgium golden gen has already ended despite still having kdb, lukaku and Vertonghen, with the former not proud of wearing his NT jersey. While their young stars might not have the reputation like their predecessors, there are still young exciting players carrying their flag. Would not expect them to win all, but a qf and forming a core is what they should be looking at
Belgium’s Golden Generation is slowly coming to an end and following a run of coming up short in major tournaments and had a disappointing World Cup, there’s not as much expectations on them going into the EUROs as there were in previous tournaments. Yet this is a team who’s still 3rd in the world rankings and no one is giving them a chance at winning the EUROs because their best opportunity at winning something it seems like it past them by a couple of years ago. Eden Hazard has already retired, Thibaut Courtois isn’t in the national team and while they still have Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku who were in good form for their clubs last season, both of their best players aren’t getting any younger and I don’t know how many major tournaments they have in them as KDB turns 33 very soon and Lukaku is in his 30s.
They’ve moved on from the older players who are past their best and they have a relatively young team with guys like Jeremy Doku Amadou Onana Johan Bakayoko Lois Openda alongside Leandro Trossard at Arsenal they have a rejuvenated attack with a new manager. They have a group that consists of Slovakia Romania and Ukraine and they shouldn’t have any issues of topping the group because they’re far better than the teams they have to go up against. They’re seen as outsiders to win the EUROs and obviously there’s no pressure on them and we don’t expect them to win the whole tournament, they’re still good enough to get to the quarterfinals depending on how well the other top teams do in their group meaning they could avoid them in the RD of 16.
Except they just lost their first game.
3rd in the FIFA ranking? must be some kind of sorcery!
How Belgium is always be in the top 5 of the fifa ranking is the biggest mistery. An overrated team that never won anything.
It's not at all a mystery if you know how rankings work.
Belgium are consistent, they win matches against inferior opponents and collect ranking points.
A team's ranking doesn't depend on how many trophies they have won.
I hope I've managed to solve the mystery for you.
😂😂😂 espn think steve nicol is somewhat smart 😂😂😂 they’ll just hire any idiot
I think Belgium is more golden now than before. A bit weak defense.
Ehh I think they have one more chance
2:1 or 1:1
I guess this would be a great tournament for the Belgians to save face
Stevie Nicol forgot his dentures? He's slurring so much.
you guys.. did you know that Hungary-Switzerland played? Before spain.. before italy.. crazy right.. at ESPN FC its like they never played.
No one cares
Yeah they aren't covering all euro matches I see
Maybw jf it qas 2018 🤣
KDB and Lukaku are left of the Golden Generation, this is a new team.
