It's one of the extra red resin printed lenses TacoBelli gives with his cyclotron panel replacement. I was going to buy a actual cliplite lense... but why spend the money when I had these laying around. I am pleased with the result 😁
Never mind, I just checked your other video again and confirmed. The issue you found is that you have two LEDs on the same power line. This is fine but they have to match, electrically. Since you had 2.2v LEDs up front, in the ear hat light, you need to match those in the step LED, too. You can’t mix in a 3v white LED. Had you used a white 3v LED in the front ear, you would have had the same problem in reverse. (Ask me how I know LOL) If you match the two, however, all is well. You need 3v, since you want white or warm white in the Step LED, and both are 3v. Fortunately the orange material of the front tear hat light does a nice job of making a white LED still look orange, in that location, so you’re still good with that. You’re done now so it no longer matters, but if you decide to go back in at some point t, you COULD change those LEDs to 3v white (ear) and 3v warm white (step).
@@compudude Hey sorry for my late reply! So if I change all the LEDs to 3V it will all work? I measured off the board (Off camera) and it only provides 1.9V. Would that matter? Appreciate you taking the time to type all that out! I now have hope! 👊
the hot glue around your barrel wing painted silver idea is genius. I'm definitely going to do that on mine.
Looking good 🎉
Thanks man! 👊👊👊
i like the m3 screws on the bottom to hide the holes. great idea!
I had some laying around so I tired it.... And it looked great! Love it when things work out 😁
Looks great as expected... but man, you work for your successes, and then some. I'm too lazy.
I do the work so others don't have to work so hard hahaha! But seriously working on the wand is such a chore! I'm glad I'm done with it.... Or am I? 😅
Where did you get the little red slo blo light? Looks great

Ahh yes! I'm glad I saved those little guys.@@SquadCollector
Can you share a link to the 2.2v LEDs set you got?
Put a link in the description for ya. THanks for watching!
Remind me, are you pulling power from that same step LED for your front ear LED? And is that ear light an orange LED, if so?

@@SquadCollector Exactly! As long as both LEDs match it should be fine.
Does the white hat light still blink in over heat after you took the old LED out ?
