Was there a reason you didnt go from the sides with a dremel? (Im not as experienced I admit so if this is wrong Id be glad to learn so) I also glued my bar led frame to my wand as well
are you talking about dremeling the top hat light off? if so yes i should have cut that off first. If not, I'm not sure what you are referring to
The fake black wire going to the barrel to the main box can that be ripped out without opening the wand?
yes and no. you can cut it off from the outside and it won'tbe showing however there will be 2 pieces left in the barrel and wand and you probably don't want those rattling around inside
So I had part of the plastic from the vent light still where I drilled the hole. Completely missed the part about removing the clear plastic piece. So when I took the longer orange hat light to install it, it sits completely flush to the top of the wand. I tried pressing it further but ended up splitting a quarter of it. Ended up filling it with hot glue . It's not accurate but it looks like its been through hell which is sorta what I'm going for in my AL pack. All the lights function perfectly. It's truly a great kit.
hmm pics? i made the tall hatlight to accomodate the clear plastic piece still in the wand. There's a spacer included for those who have removed the clear plastic. which wand version is this?

You guys made my dream come true, a real bar graph. I ended up destroying my 84 wand trying to install the “easy” way, so I popped in my afterlife wand and ordered another 84 wand.
With the broken one to practice on, I was able to do the “destructive” method very easily and added a vent light.
All I want is that sound up sequence when you turn on the wand and well as the sequence on the bar graph display.
Not interested in the cyclotron or anything else.
What else do I need besides the essentials kit

yup! the top body and wing barrel hat light didn't have LEDs GB1&2 but they put it in Afterlife
@@jonogunnNot gatekeeping but I just went back to watch gb1 and I noticed Egon's thrower had an illuminated orange hat light on the wing barrel. (At least in the Ballroom scene) Perhaps for continuity? 🤷🏻♂️
@@mirusso i just rewatched it and you are right. i see veknman's hatlight light up in some short scenes in the ballroom. i wonder if it was added in post since majority of the movie we don't see them lit up
@@jonogunn I'm popping in my tapes to check. I think they had bulbs in them from memory but that's no help lol
