I feel ya! A few people have usd an Xacto blade with minimum and frustrating results. The problem is that the blade is too thin and isn't wide enough to "pry" and break the glue bond. That's why a guitar pick works wonders.

@@tord6725 WOOHOO! Sometimes they use extra bit of glue and then it takes a crap ton more of patience 😅. Honestly I don't remember a smell when opening it.... But to be fair my nose is probably messed up from the amount of solder fumes I've inhaled lol!!!!

Try being the one doing while on camera hahahaha! I can't count how many grey hairs I got! Seller end up refunding me in full and updated his listing for which specific meter they fit.

Definitely disappointing when opened. He told me he got a new batch of lenses that weren't up to snuff. New lenses have been sent from his old batch. Will do an update video once they arrive. I appreciate the concern 👊

He says he's going to send me some replacement lenses.... But just incase, I'm searching online for some. I took measurements with my digital caliper. Good looking out man! 🙏🙏🙏

Ah well, anyway, I commented about Ali and scammers who steals collectors money by not sending pre-orders but people cannot get refund as pre-orders takes over a year or two way over the refund period. I had pre ordered $700 in comic books from him..... 8 months later everyone who ordered form other companies started to receive their... But not me... They kept blaming CGC the comic book grading company for the delays. (ALL LIES) Thank god I used a top tier credit card company and they were able to reverse the charges 12 months later! I got lucky! That was the first time I got a response like that when asking to QC an item. I can't fault him he probably takes a ton of pride in his work (Very rare nowadays) and thought it strange that someone would ask. I still continue to do it and now I give an explanation why. You and I come from the same place.... We dislike unwanted surprises ie having to sand clippard bases hahaha!

I couldn't agree with you more! I was one of the lucky ones. It didn't arrive destroyed. I think what helped was that it came shipped on a wooden pallet. The red is quite dull. I'll be getting mine repainted in the near future. Other than that though, I'm pretty happy with it. It's huge and commands a lot of presence.

All fixed sent me a free new bargraph. They didn't update their page (Regarding what bargraphs were compatible with the new board) till after my issue. It works 100% with Ninjatunes. Don't do the upgraded brighter leds for the vent.... The voltage it pulls confuses the NT board. You need the "Black" board ver 2.0 and higher.

He wasn't making those just yet when I bought the Hat lights. But I get it there is always some ego involved when you take so much pride in your work. His products were great!

I don't think he annonces these runs. They just pop up on his ETSY shop. You just need to visit often or favourite his shop and jump on it. I think he' sbeen gettin gmore traffic lately form my video (I think and hope hahaha)

OMG the nest of wires is why I hate working on wands hahaha! You just look at one of those thin wires funny and they snap lol!

I didn't know the orientation at the time. So when I tested it was the brighter LED of the 2.... Darn it! I better tell the person I did it for to flip it around hahaha. I also assumed that that light wouldn't work well with the NT board due to the higher voltage draw. Glad I didn't put one in mine. THanks for the heads up regarding the LED though!

@@SquadCollector np yeah it's a voltage issue with the Ninja Tunes kit. I think if you had just the vent leds and no bargraph it would work? Kind of a pick and choose I guess lol

There's a few people who have used this bargraph with the Ninjatunes, but the same rule applies as a stock one where it's incompatible with adjusting the wand top knob.

@@oidoglr yes the bargraph will work fine, also the frutto vent light with the Ninja Tunes kit. Just not both in the same wand. Something with the frutto keep alive for the wand. It'll work but solo w/o any other frutto components. There's to much interference lol.

It's not a race! hahahaha Or is it..... 😅 I'm going to replace the lense extensions with machined aluminum pieces (Comes with stainless thumb screws) and do some wiring for leds.
