Carbon copy all the way
What a delay the cub is! clean yet has warmth, musicality in it. I don't get it why Jhs removed the modulation with the latest version!
Great comparison as always👍🏼
It's funny I actually think the carbon copy just sounds better. Even I get caught up with chasing pedals and listening to gossip.
Both are nice
It's not "hip" to rock a carbon copy
I’m assuming the roar mode is off? Mine is a v1 and when roar is on it goes nuts anywhere past 12… although it does sound sweet. Sucks that JHS no longer offers the 1.5 mod.
This is the comparison that I need. I got Panther Cub v1.0 years ago, looks great, excellent features, modulation is phenomenal, the delay... sucks!!! Just after 5 or six repeats, in normal mode, start to oscillate in super percussive way. Unsable. I swapped for CC. The previous owner of the PC swapped it for a CC.
In the v1.5 looks like JHS fix the problem, but CC still wins (IMHO)
If you listen to the echoes Peter out, the MXR is more musical but I think a memory man is better yet.
