It's kind of funny how Adam's favorite food is ribs, since Eve was made from one of Adam's ribs. I love little mythology gags like that. Also, I love the hypocrisy of Adam being in Heaven and saying he's never made a mistake, when he bit the same apple as Eve, also commiting the original sin. (At least in some versions.) Either way, if anyone belongs in Hell, it's him.

well in the hazbin universe Adams heavily implied to never have partook of the fruit of knowledge of good & evil, meaning he's unable to sin since he has not eaten the fruit. he lacks utter knowledge or understanding of such concepts. meaning when he died? he got a fast pass to heaven since Adam was a clean slate, hence why he says he's never made mistakes since he never partook of the fruit. even if he's an ass he cannot see that, since what makes us, well us having partook of the fruit (yes it comes up a lot, & that's because its the crux of the issue) so the only reason he likes it is because having spent thousands of years of observing sinners harming his descendants (the non sinners) he decided to hit 2 birds with one stone: cull the sinners protecting his true children & entertain himself since eternity doing nothing gets boring after a while.
I love how Charlie, the demonic character, has a soft melodic song. Meanwhile, Adam, the angelic character has a rock ballad, which is known as the Devil's music.
The way the show is subverting expectations is absolutely beautiful, loving the contrast of the songs and how much they reflect the personality of each character. Golden 💯

Remember when Charlie realizes that Adam was like actually the first man adam and says “that explains so much”? Well I’m pretty sure that was supposed to imply that the reason Lucifer asked Charlie to go to the meeting instead of him was because Lucifer didn’t want to talk to Adam because he ended up marrying Adam’s first wife lmao. So I can seee why he wouldn’t want to invite that kind of tension.
I love how Alastor clearly made a terrible commercial so that they would never ask him again, which is especially apparent because of his professional set and equipment he summoned- so he could've made a good one this whole time, and didn't. When Vaggie was having issues, he managed to finagle himself a nice little deal so now they most certainly won't get his help on that again, so he doesn't have to engage with television ever again. Hilarious.

The food Adam's eating is BBQ ribs! Very common in the US, with tons of regional variations. Usually pork, but some do beef instead. i caught that one clip of Mosco dancing! XD And man, your editing is always on point!!

Holy shitballs that's a lot of editing! Mad respect. There's so much going on everywhere on the screen in Vivsiepop's shows that it's pretty much impossible to catch all of it on a blind reaction. Allowing yourself to jot down reactions from the editing stage is probably a good idea, otherwise overeager fans who have watched the episodes 50 times over will carpet bomb the comments with blink-and-you-miss-it details. Obsessively re-watching the show(s) is pretty much how Helluva Boss fans survive the droughts between episodes, going over the backgrounds almost frame by frame to pick up bits of world building, character details and foreshadowing. Some fans are... a little more obsessive than others. Kind of like Niffty, they're a little intimidating but probably well-meaning, and we're 80% sure they're harmless.

Get ready for a very heartbreaking and intense story in episode 4. Probably going to want your cat with you for comfort. Either that or maybe some stuffed animals like a King plushie if you happen to have any. That’s my favorite episode so far because it handles the subject matter in such a realistic way. I watch a lot of true crime shows with my mom and about 80 to 85% involve SA in some manor. This show portrays the fear of the victim so well and it hits me just as hard as the real life SA stories I often hear about on the true crime shows.
Thank you, yes, I have already seen ep 4 and it might just have been one of the hardest videos I've ever recorded so far. With that said, I'm very looking forward to comment and discuss that episode when the time comes cuz yes, I feel like it's a remarkable piece of television. Stay tuned!
@@darquidarqui 🫂I’ve probably watched the episode 7 or 8 different times from reactions here on UA-cam. It never gets easier to watch but I still enjoy it. The first person I watched react to the episode was NotSoAvarageFangirl and she described the episode perfectly after she finished it, an emotional roller coaster. One moment she’s crying because of sadness and fear for Angel Dust, and the next she’s overwhelmed by the cuteness of Charlie and Vaggie.
Alastor died in 1933 and was a Creole cannibal and serial killer who carried his love of radio and "Picture shows"(Not the filmed kind however) to Hell.He was basically the New Orleans equivalent of Ed Gein complete with the Oedipus Complex. Angel Dust was a gay mob enforcer and drug dealer who ODed on his own supply in the `40s.Carmilla Carmine was also from that era and is an arms dealer both on Earth and in Hell, she`s also one of the more pragmatic Overlords like Alastor and Zestial which is why the three get along so well. Niffty was a 1950`s housewife which is why, aside from the news reporters and a few one-offs, she`s the only straight demon in the main cast, the repression of the `50s is also why she`s OCD as fuck, almost as kinky as Angel Dust despite looking younger than her actual age(She died at 22, she`s just short for her age) and likes "bad boys" . Valentino was a mob boss in the 1970s, him being a porn producer and pimp in Hell may give us an idea what some of his recreational activities on Earth were. Sir Pentious died in the 1800s which is why he didn`t understand Angel Dust`s sex jokes in the Pilot. He was also a literal father on Earth and his son died young as was commonplace in the Civil War/Reconstruction era he lived in hence his protectiveness of his Egg Bois despite initially being abusive of them. Zestial is the most Ancient of the Overlords hence his Elizabethan English and the Vees are the youngest who see the elder Overlords as "crusty and out of touch with modern pop culture".

Adam is one of my favorite characters, to me, he is well written villain. Vivienne and some animators and writers wrote on Twitter that he is one of their favorite characters, and how fun they have writing him. A charismatic funny cocky toxic spoiled misogynistic sexist based douchebag that you have fun love to hate. And there is a reason why he is that evil. He wasn't evil when he was alive, he was just a selfish person who fought his wife was made for him in his eyes, because she appeared a little bit later after his birth, and he wanted her to do what he wants, he demanded control, let's not forget that he is first human, he didn't have parents who could teach him a discipline and what's right and wrong, he grew up in the environment that morals for humanity didn't existed yet, when he get to heaven, Sera didn't make him realize that he made mistake, and the fact that Lilith didn't submit his will, and later with lucifer exposed earth to the root of all evil, and perhaps possessed his new wife Eve, in Adam's eyes that makes his actions, his idea "that woman are not equals as him but a man's additions who should submit him" look good, when Lilith and Lucifer are villains in his point of view. Also in hazbin hotel he didn't ate the fruit of knowledge, because of this, he didn't gain knowledge, did not allow him to realize his mistakes, and cannot find the difference between good and evil, so he has black and white views. And then Sera gives him a royal fancy live, that he will get anithing he wants on the silver platter, and not facing a consequences of his mistakes, and he lived like Kuzco, without love and discipline reveling in power in ten thousands years, so what's why he is so spoiled and has God complexes, because of the fact he get from Sera and Elders that he is the first human, a special who gave birth to humanity, in first episode he was wrong, but he didn't lied because he genuinely believes that he said.
Here also may have been some evil in the show that Lucifer accidentally let on Earth as Pandora opened her box. And like Prometheus, who just wanted to help people, but ended up being punished for what he had done. In turn, Eve, who was possessed by evil, probably became a local variant of Pandora and Eris, the goddess of chaos and discord. The Golden Apple of Discord. Well you know. In fact, it is even possible to imagine that Eve and Lilith ate the fruits in this version, but Adam did not. That evil entered into one (Eve) and good into the other (Lilith). Adam, on the other hand, remained on the neutral side and does not know what is good and what is evil, and on the other hand He became a narcissistic person who believed and doubted that he was right. And so, when Lucifer and Lilith were expelled, the Angels, not knowing that there was evil in Eve, sent her and Adam to populate the Earth, believing that they had nothing more to do in Paradise, and so later they gave rise to a sinful generation, which ended in the Flood. And then, of course, up to the present day, to the events of the main plot of the series. And about Abel and Cain. In the premiere it seem your saying you have seen all 6 episodes already, I guess that means no one can really spoil this for you and I can speak freely. If I am incorrect and you've not seen all 6 episodes then *STOP READING CAUSE SPOILERS!* With the pilot being confirmed canon this is definitely the story's continuation from there, it's a nice feeling to have it seem like we just picked up from a week ago even if it's been 4 years for some of us. There isn't a whole lot to explain since you've already seen the 6 episodes and probably learned more, and if you're still confused I'll probably explain it when we catch up. In retrospect Lucifer sending Charlie to Adam likely was just him not wanting to deal with his wife's ex since he doesn't even know what she's doing like redemption, but I definitely thought it was him trying to get her to see angels as they are at first too. Something I do find very interesting is Lute says that Lucifer got all hellborn a pardon. Well this does include Charlie it also includes all the naturally occurring demons like those prominent in Helluva boss which is a good lore reason why the events here won't affect those characters much since they wouldn't care about the extermination.
Yes, seen all 6 episodes indeed! It's really cool to have the pilot as still canon, I agree, I think it's a gem on its own and is a great introduction to the characters. That makes a lot more sense actually, after watching episode 5, Lucifer's behavior actually changed my perspective A LOT about what's happening in the background, it's really boggling my mind hehe That's incredible attention to detail! God alone knows how that pig got into heaven (literally), my first thought was bribery but money didn't exist when he died. Overall I'm absolutely adoring this show so far, this and helluva are quite possibly my favourite shows currently airing. The world is amazing, the characters are impeccable, the messages are relevant and beautiful and the representation is remarkable. And it also helps that both shows have yet to write a bad song, I know that Adam's picture is in the dictionary next to the word incel but holy s*it can he write a sick beat

Mad respect. There's so much going on everywhere on the screen in Vivsiepop's shows that it's pretty much impossible to catch all of it on a blind reaction. Allowing yourself to jot down reactions from the editing stage is probably a good idea, otherwise overeager fans who have watched the episodes 50 times over will carpet bomb the comments with blink-and-you-miss-it details.
Obsessively re-watching the show(s) is pretty much how Helluva Boss fans survive the droughts between episodes, going over the backgrounds almost frame by frame to pick up bits of world building, character details and foreshadowing. Some fans are... a little more obsessive than others. Kind of like Niffty, they're a little intimidating but probably well-meaning, and we're 80% sure they're harmless.

Get ready for a very heartbreaking and intense story in episode 4. Probably going to want your cat with you for comfort. Either that or maybe some stuffed animals like a King plushie if you happen to have any. That’s my favorite episode so far because it handles the subject matter in such a realistic way. I watch a lot of true crime shows with my mom and about 80 to 85% involve SA in some manor. This show portrays the fear of the victim so well and it hits me just as hard as the real life SA stories I often hear about on the true crime shows.
Thank you, yes, I have already seen ep 4 and it might just have been one of the hardest videos I've ever recorded so far. With that said, I'm very looking forward to comment and discuss that episode when the time comes cuz yes, I feel like it's a remarkable piece of television. Stay tuned!
@@darquidarqui 🫂I’ve probably watched the episode 7 or 8 different times from reactions here on UA-cam. It never gets easier to watch but I still enjoy it. The first person I watched react to the episode was NotSoAvarageFangirl and she described the episode perfectly after she finished it, an emotional roller coaster. One moment she’s crying because of sadness and fear for Angel Dust, and the next she’s overwhelmed by the cuteness of Charlie and Vaggie.

Alastor died in 1933 and was a Creole cannibal and serial killer who carried his love of radio and "Picture shows"(Not the filmed kind however) to Hell.He was basically the New Orleans equivalent of Ed Gein complete with the Oedipus Complex.
Angel Dust was a gay mob enforcer and drug dealer who ODed on his own supply in the `40s.Carmilla Carmine was also from that era and is an arms dealer both on Earth and in Hell, she`s also one of the more pragmatic Overlords like Alastor and Zestial which is why the three get along so well.
Niffty was a 1950`s housewife which is why, aside from the news reporters and a few one-offs, she`s the only straight demon in the main cast, the repression of the `50s is also why she`s OCD as fuck, almost as kinky as Angel Dust despite looking younger than her actual age(She died at 22, she`s just short for her age) and likes "bad boys" . Valentino was a mob boss in the 1970s, him being a porn producer and pimp in Hell may give us an idea what some of his recreational activities on Earth were. Sir Pentious died in the 1800s which is why he didn`t understand Angel Dust`s sex jokes in the Pilot. He was also a literal father on Earth and his son died young as was commonplace in the Civil War/Reconstruction era he lived in hence his protectiveness of his Egg Bois despite initially being abusive of them. Zestial is the most Ancient of the Overlords hence his Elizabethan English and the Vees are the youngest who see the elder Overlords as "crusty and out of touch with modern pop culture".

Your editing is top-tier, and I wholeheartedly agree, we must protect Charlie and Chaggie at all costs. Adam is one of my favorite characters, to me, he is well written villain. Vivienne and some animators and writers wrote on Twitter that he is one of their favorite characters, and how fun they have writing him. A charismatic funny cocky toxic spoiled misogynistic sexist based douchebag that you have fun love to hate. And there is a reason why he is that evil. He wasn't evil when he was alive, he was just a selfish person who fought his wife was made for him in his eyes, because she appeared a little bit later after his birth, and he wanted her to do what he wants, he demanded control, let's not forget that he is first human, he didn't have parents who could teach him a discipline and what's right and wrong, he grew up in the environment that morals for humanity didn't existed yet, when he get to heaven, Sera didn't make him realize that he made mistake, and the fact that Lilith didn't submit his will, and later with lucifer exposed earth to the root of all evil, and perhaps possessed his new wife Eve, in Adam's eyes that makes his actions, his idea "that woman are not equals as him but a man's additions who should submit him" look good, when Lilith and Lucifer are villains in his point of view. Also in hazbin hotel he didn't ate the fruit of knowledge, because of this, he didn't gain knowledge, did not allow him to realize his mistakes, and cannot find the difference between good and evil, so he has black and white views. And then Sera gives him a royal fancy live, that he will get anithing he wants on the silver platter, and not facing a consequences of his mistakes, and he lived like Kuzco, without love and discipline reveling in power in ten thousands years, so what's why he is so spoiled and has God complexes, because of the fact he get from Sera and Elders that he is the first human, a special who gave birth to humanity, in first episode he was wrong, but he didn't lied because he genuinely believes that he said.
Here also may have been some evil in the show that Lucifer accidentally let on Earth as Pandora opened her box. And like Prometheus, who just wanted to help people, but ended up being punished for what he had done. In turn, Eve, who was possessed by evil, probably became a local variant of Pandora and Eris, the goddess of chaos and discord. The Golden Apple of Discord. Well you know. In fact, it is even possible to imagine that Eve and Lilith ate the fruits in this version, but Adam did not. That evil entered into one (Eve) and good into the other (Lilith). Adam, on the other hand, remained on the neutral side and does not know what is good and what is evil, and on the other hand He became a narcissistic person who believed and doubted that he was right. And so, when Lucifer and Lilith were expelled, the Angels, not knowing that there was evil in Eve, sent her and Adam to populate the Earth, believing that they had nothing more to do in Paradise, and so later they gave rise to a sinful generation, which ended in the Flood. With the pilot being confirmed canon this is definitely the story's continuation from there, it's a nice feeling to have it seem like we just picked up from a week ago even if it's been 4 years for some of us.
There isn't a whole lot to explain since you've already seen the 6 episodes and probably learned more, and if you're still confused I'll probably explain it when we catch up.
In retrospect Lucifer sending Charlie to Adam likely was just him not wanting to deal with his wife's ex since he doesn't even know what she's doing like redemption, but I definitely thought it was him trying to get her to see angels as they are at first too.
Something I do find very interesting is Lute says that Lucifer got all hellborn a pardon.
Well this does include Charlie it also includes all the naturally occurring demons like those prominent in Helluva boss which is a good lore reason why the events here won't affect those characters much since they wouldn't care about the extermination.

God alone knows how that pig got into heaven (literally), my first thought was bribery but money didn't exist when he died. Overall I'm absolutely adoring this show so far, this and helluva are quite possibly my favourite shows currently airing. The world is amazing, the characters are impeccable, the messages are relevant and beautiful and the representation is remarkable. And it also helps that both shows have yet to write a bad song, I know that Adam's picture is in the dictionary next to the word incel but holy s*it can he write a sick beat
Adam is so freaking despicable, I can't, his song slaps for real, so unfair 😭 this show absolutely ROCKS, I really can't wait to next post reactions, the way this is getting so many emotions out of me is unreal. Can't wait to get into Helluva Boss asap! Oh, one of the real highlights is certain complex character development and the connection and depth of themes all interwoven together, it's actually so beautiful to experience! Oh yeah, now with having seen all 6 eps so far, the songs are MINDBLOWINGLY good, some of the best I've ever seen in musicals, and I've seen a lot. Hahaha that's pretty funny, stay tuned for the next ones coming!
