I guess it is hehe! That and a little surprise I just posted in the community tab in the channel if you're interested in Patreon content thank you so much Rayla! Happy holidaysss 🎄
What I don’t think many people realize is that Gangle’s “sad mask” isn’t actually a mask. That is just her face. That’s why her smiling after she throws her mask away is so important. She wasn’t putting on a performance; she was actually, genuinely happy in that brief moment. She wanted to do a “normal” job and thinks the happy mask is “normal” because she probably comes from a place where everyone dismissed her artistic dreams and told her to be normal. Now, onto my overall theory for the series. Abstractions: I think abstractions are what happens to a characters model when their consciousness is removed from this digital world. Their character models are just avatars made by their mind when first enter the circus. When their mind is removed from the simulation (probably by an outside force, more on that later) it leaves behind their avatar. An avatar is just a a bunch of code, and what happens to code when a large chunk of it ( their mind/consciousness) is removed? It glitches, crashes, and just generally freaks out. What is left might have some echoes of the mind it used to have. I believe they freak and rampage because a broken program is trying ti process a lot of visual stimulus and just no longer has the code necessary to deal with it. That would also be why they calm down in the darkness. No stimuli = nothing to freak about. Now about the Digital circus as a whole. I think it was a program to help people sort through their mental struggles. Linger was on of the original programmers of it and his wife was probably also working on it in some capacity as well. The way he described her last episode made her seem like some kind intellectual to me. Kinger and her probably went into test it out/ find bugs and something went wrong and they forgot a lot about the outside world. Caine is just an AI trying to do his job, but he’s still not quite right in his programming. I think that whatever the CNA company is took over this project from its original team and is now using it to conduct some. . . questionably moral experiments on those suffering from various mental illnesses. As stated before, abstraction is what happens when you “lose hope” in the digital circus. I think this means that the person in the simulation stops participating in adventures (and therefore this experiment); so the people running it simply log them out, leaving behind their empty shell to abstract. Then they just get a new person in to keep the experiment running longer. The new person probably has no idea what cyber hell they are about to be put into. Probably just market it as “hey, wanna test a new VR game?” So that’s the overview of my thoughts. Sorry for the long ramble.
This is my favorite episode of the series so far and it made me love Gangle more. I just wanna hug her so bad. It depicts really well on Gangle having bipolar disorder and taking on a literal metaphorical form called “masking“. I also got emotional at the end of the episode.😭 This episode also relates to me so much personally. I work at a minimum wage part time job (retail store) even though I want to follow my dreams on becoming a novel writer and an artist, but I gave up on those dreams just to work a real job. I relate to Gangle a lot in this episode.
Yesss absolutely! Gangle deserves SO much love, such a relatable episode 🥺 wanted to hug her so bad too, wonderful storytelling with the masks. And you're right, I never mention specifically what they have since I'm no expert in the matter, but Gangle having bipolar disorder is so evident and so well depicted and realized. And big hugs to you! This episode was A LOT and I totally get it. Those final moments with Zooble mean so much. Thank you for sharing and supporting! ❤
6:35 Something interesting about Orbsman is that is dialogue sounds completely incomprehensible unless you know what he’s saying beforehand. It’s apparently just heavily modulated vocals. “Hello, I’m ready to order.” “That’s right, it’s me, Orbsman. Here to the order the classic number 57 value meal.” It’s weird. Once you know he’s saying actual words, you can’t really hear it as gibberish anymore.
I've come back to answer more questions!! 1: Pretty sure GooseWorkz stated that 57 was her favourite number 2: less of an answer and more of a fact. In the german dub. the 3 gloinks are named Uzi, N and V! 3: Another fact! Bunnies are sensitive to light, sooooo jax was probably even more truamatized then it seems- 4: OH MY GOD- AN ACTUAL ANSWER- Ragatha's rant about packages landing on her head, tea parties and dancing lessons is a refrence to the song "No girl's toy" from Raggady ann! Its a refrence :> 5: Gangle probably said that since Ragatha is nice to everyone, She's questioning whether the things she's saying are real. 6: Another fact. The truck was supposed to be a refrence of anime characters getting hit by vehicle's, specifically trucks to get to other dimensions! (Something like that lol) 7: ANOTHER FACT. When caine glitches out, A certain frame puts him in a pose which is mimicking him sitting down in a content farm video where someone dressed up as him. Thats pretty much it! theres probably a lot more i havent answered but- tried giving as much info as i can! Love your reactions!!
Thanks! 1. gotcha, won't further overanalyze that number 😂 2. OHHH no way! That's so cool and cute, love it! 3. Oh I didn't know, that's such great attention to detail 4. Ohhhh you see, I'm not that familiar with Raggeddy Ann, swore it's related to her backstory in the show. Well, maybe they do more references to that in future eps! 5. True, it's just that what Gangle said could've been interpreted in numerous ways, you know? but thanks! 6. Ohhhhh gotcha I get it now, never would've thought of that 😂 7. Love it when the creators have fun with that, gosh the content farm videos... that's funny! Thank you so so much for all the info! Really appreciate it ❤
Hi everyone! Hope you're having good holidays this time of the year! And if by any reason you're not, I hope this video helps somehow ❤ LOVED this new episode once again, FINALLY the Gangle one and it was brilliant once again. Merry Christmas my dear dark-cries! See ya soon with more reactions 🎄
You were asking what happened to Ragatha, remember the stupid sauce? In case you didn't see it, it spilled on her, then she went crazy like that. Maybe (maybe) what she said about horses refers to her life before the circus. But I don't know since she wasn't sober 😂 PS: I think it would have been cooler to have deepened Gangle's conversation with Pomni, but it was a good EP, it represented well when some people prefer to mask their feelings That's it, merry Christmas to you, happy holidays!! 🎄🎊🎁
Yeah, I knew she was under the effects on the sauce, I kept mentioning that through annotations throughout the whole video to make sure you guys know that I'm aware the sauce is affecting her. I thought that was beautiful, maybe could've been as long as that conversation with Gummigoo in ep 2 but I'm really satisfied with that interaction between Gangle and Pomni, one of my favorite parts of the episode! Thank you so much! Happy holidays/Merry Christmas to you! 🎄❤
@ Sorry, it seemed like you were confused about Ragatha, I just wanted to know if what she said had any basis in your life/thoughts or was it just the sauce acting up, but it was good 😂
Speedrunning the Gangle mask breakage... at this rate, the first thing on screen will be it breaking. Also.. yea, this was hard to watch cause... too damn relatable.
My thoughts on Gummigoo. When Pomni said his name he looked as though he recognized her, and remembered her. But he either could not respond because of his limited programming, or because if he let anyone know he was sentient, he would be reset once again, or be deleted altogether.
Costa Rica has the highest minimum wage of any Latin American country, but this doesn't mean that it's good in comparison to the cost of living in urban or tourist areas. (For Americans, think cost of living in New York City or the Bay Area versus, say, St. Louis.)
I was born over here in Costa Rica, have lived my whole life here, and even though it might be the better country to live in in comparison to the rest of Central America for example, we're really a super stuck third world country and we're moving backwards more than forwards.
Jax has fun by making the others miserable; but working a soul sucking retail job is already so miserable, that he is forced to be sincere, since he's suffering with everyone else.
That's true, although it was refreshing to see him so genuinely scared when he asked if nobody will watch him like that, finally a vulnerable moment with him alongside that scene with Pomni. Really looking forward to see what they do with him next!
Is this our Christmas present? 😁🎁 Fantastic reaction, Diego and happy holidays to you ❤
