To be fair, Lucifer did call her at times while going through depression. Charlie by the sounds of it, hasn’t called him in years. They could both be better tbh
@@phiz8092 Considering what he's been going through, it's great that he's still trying to reach out and connect while Charlie hasn't tried to connect with him.
@@phiz8092 I never said he was the best dad, but he's putting in the effort for their relationship but it's a 2-way street and Charlie wasn't receptive. They both thought the other didn't want anything to do with them, but at least Lucifer was trying to reach out.
i love charlie and lucifer's relationship. they both felt like they were never good enough for the other. for lucifer, hes a former seraphim, current king of hell and im sure lilith told charlie all kinds of stories about him, so for lucifer, its "how can i live up to the way my daughter sees me,as this proud and confident king of hell". for charlie, she sees her father, the king of hell and hears of all the things hes accomplished and she thinks "how will i ever be able to live up to ANYTHING he's done". but in the song, they realize that they've ALWAYS been good enough for each other and that the other didnt care about anything else apart from being there for them. also id like to note the significance of lucifer showing his wings thing time around. when we see them in "hell's greatest dad" and the fight with adam, they're a flex,a display of power but they are a lot smaller. in "more than anything" ,they're larger, broader and not being used to flex his power. almost as if he has a renewed self of purpose and is no longer being held back by his depression. so for me,that image of lucifer holding charlie with that massive wingspan is by far the most important moment for his character so far

It would be great to do one for Hellava Boss as well. They are sister shows in my opinion. Where Hazbin is far more structured, Hellava is more creatively random (sorry I can't think of the actual term).
