Hang in l don't think they deserve to will financial compensation. But if the Burger meant to be vegetarian then really it should have a separate grill for it!
@@grazutissmith9647 It's not possible to have a second grill. Those grills are huge as is, and cost a lot of money. With all the other equipment, there's just no space for a second grill without either renovating or building a whole new restaurant. And for mall restaurants, renovating wouldn't provide much more if any more space. Fast food places are limited on space. Having worked at A&W and selling the beyond burger, we can't even use part of the one grill for just beyond burgers, because when it gets busy you're cooking meat patties across two thirds of the grill and prepping meat patties for burgers on the other third, so they end up in meat juice too, especially if we end up having to cook fresh ones while busy and cooking fresh meat. If customers ask, we will clean off part of the grill, and even cook it fresh on a clean part of the grill, even if it's busy, but it puts us behind on orders. With the new clam shell grills, it takes 5 minutes to cook a beyond burger fresh, so on the old grills without the platons, it would be 10 minutes or more. Fast food workers are typically expected to get orders out in under 2 minutes, not that it's usually possible. Sometimes we'd have so many orders come in that we've got about 2 to 3 screens pending.

the teens that tried to sue McDonalds because the fast food chain made them fat, that made me angry. It was the teen's fault, not McDonalds. Several years ago Taco Bell had a contest where you entered a code off of a sticker on your food box for a chance for a prize. I went to one of the local ones where I live with a small group of my friends for lunch and as we sat there we decided to enter the codes at that time. One by one, every code we entered came back with the same message - it had already been entered. Someone (we assumed an employee) had already entered the codes. We should have complained but chose not to.
Remember when McDonalds offered a single patty version of the Big Mac, called the Mac Junior? A lot of times they sold them on the dollar menu for a $1 each. While an actual Big Mac was going for $2.50 or $3. Didn't take much to figure out if you ordered two Juniors, you could get a Big Mac and an extra top of a bun for a substantial discount.
Or you can order a McDouble with only Mac sauce, lettuce, onion and pickle. You don't get the extra bread in the middle but for almost $4 cheaper, I'm good.
I agree with the lawsuits in about half of these. Starting with the napkin one. I noticed some time ago they hide napkins and catsup behind the counter and you need to essentially BEG them to give you enough for your meal.
I worked for cineplex and it's 100% ill-prepared management being given free reign for 3-4 years before getting fired in all those places. the morning shift had not unjammed the ice machine so it didn't fill up and we ran out half way through an evening shift. cineplex uses metric tons of ice because it cools the drinks, they run like 15 soda dispensers and have to fill the under part with ice to make the soda come out cool, they use that same ice to fill the drinks so it needs to be replenished. anyways when we ran out they told me not to tell the customers, they told me to not give them ice unless they ask and then give them like 2 cubes. I almost got fired for telling them how that was gaslighting the customers. they also had us shilling out tiny charges for squirts of butter on the popcorn and stuff. turns out the guys had ran out of butter one day i wasnt there then neglected to explain that the salt they put on the popcorn is what gives it the butter flavour, so the customers thought we were serving plain unseasoned popcorn
they hide the napkins, etc behind the counter cuz people now adays just grab like 100 napkins just for their selves instead of just taking a few, so now you have to ask for them cuz businesses are losing money cuz people are just dumb and want to take a truck full of napkins when they only ordered a hamburger then they just throw the rest away.... even then, it isn't a good enough reason to sue.

I worked at A&W until recently, a guy came in after calling, claiming his kid cut his mouth on some metal. He showed the pieces of metal to the manager, my mom, and it was obviously pieces off of a wire brush for cleaning a barbecue grill... We don't and haven't ever used wire brushes on our grill.

This is the way to solve your ice issues. Order a drink without ice and then ask for a cup of ice most places give it for free. Then just add your drink to the cup of ice.
I drove cab before and I would get a large sweet tea without ice for a dollar and I always kept a big gulp cup with me. Stop at McDonald's for the tea, run to 711 (right across the street) and get a free cup of ice. I got 3 big gulp cups of sweet iced tea for $1.

We have a few people sometimes refuse a receipt and then come back in two minutes claiming we forgot to give them something they'd paid for. The problem became such an issue not just money wise but also time as dealing with them slowed down service, that we had to retrain our staff to always print out a receipt and if the customer doesn't take it it's on them.
I’ve learned to always check the bag at the window before I drive away because that’s my chance for interaction with the staff & then being able to handle it right then, right there.

You know that McDonalds game is still rigged. Conducted an experiment while working at a McDonalds to find out that I had all the pieces to every prize except for the one missing piece needed to claim that prize. Well, it happened in my country last year, a woman claimed to have bought 'fresh' fried chicken full of maggots from McDonald's. When they did the investigation, boomed! The woman actually lied, and McDonald's asked her to apologize and clear the matter. Not sure, last I heard she'll be getting sued for this action. That serves her right!
People should be ashamed of themselves for trying to ruin other's reputation. That's why I say "gossiper's are usually the troublemaker.!" You can never believe 99% of what comes out of people's mouth. If you accuse somebody of doing something wrong , if I know who you are accusing of doing wrong. I will give that other person benefit of adoubt until they themselves have proven the other person right. Don't believe everything that comes out of someone's mouth, the first to gossiper about something or something is usually the troblemaker in the group. They do it out of spite and jealously and to hurt others. Sometimes to put people out of business or get people fired. To make people breakup. Beware of what you hear from people's mouth.
I work at a KFC, to my knowledge we never had anybody try and sue us but we had some pretty ridiculous attempts free meals. One guy after eating the one chicken leg ordered demanded a free bucket of chicken because when he ate down to the bone he found a hair inside the meat. The manager called b.s. and after the guy was finished cursing and yelling over being called a liar the manager asked him how a hair could end up inside meat considering meat is not something made with batter or dough. It took the guy a minute or so but he realized that he should have claimed the hair was stuck to the outside of the leg, not inside it. He dropped the f-bomb and stormed out of the restaurant.
Once I worked as a cashier at Jack in the Box and a customer came in saying all the food was undercooked and wanted a replacement for all the food on the receipt. I looked at the receipt and there were about 15 items on it. I handed the receipt back to him and told him his complaint was B.S. because the date on the receipt was a week ago and the address was also incorrect. He demanded to speak with management, my manager told him to leave or he will call the police of the attempted scam. Of course the customer got loud and belligerent but left anyways.
I remember going to the theater or an event (Didn't happen all the time.) and asking for a large drink and they'd fill it full of crushed ice and I'd have to tell them to take some of the ice out. Some of them tried hard to leave as much ice inside as possible even when told remove most of it, because they knew they were making bank off their customers and they'd get a lot of repeat business. I remember when I was a kid and my mother use to sneak in snacks in her purse when we went to the move theater. Those were the days!

@12:46 "Finding something Inedible in your Food" Happens every time I try to eat Beef. Always a hunk of Grizzle, followed by a complete emptying of the Stomach.
On the KFC one, I'm not quite on the side of the court. I mean Subway was taken to court and sued due to the "footlong" actually usually being 10 inches or less. Since the lawsuit they are indeed 12 inches or more. So the claims that the advertisement doesn't match the actual product are indeed substantiated.
I worked down the street from that Wendy’s and ate the bean and baked potato for lunch. My stomach was twirling when the report came out. My friend said oh well that was last week I’m sure they are cleaned up now lol
I once ordered a McDouble and they only gave me one pattie. I was mad at first but before eating the burger I got full after devouring their fries lol so I got over it (only took a couple bites of the burger) 🤷
One of the main problems with these lawsuits is that the people ask for way too much money. If they asked for a more reasonable price like a few hundred or thousand then they might have had a better chance of winning. But as Ace Rothstein says “In the end, they’re all greedy”
Man i cantXD i get upset if i dont have enough napkins but i just ask. N like i dont blame the dude for emailing the general manager about a horrible response for asking to get some extra napkins. But claiming not to be able to work because of emotional anguish is pushin it.
When I was a kid, I heard my step dad say that Wendy’s used worms as filler for their meat, so it took until I was well into adulthood for me to even try Wendy’s. THEN..Even though the finger in Wendy’s chili was false, it freaked me out so bad that it took years before I could eat at Wendy’s again.
I found a small piece of metal in a hungry man once, was just about to file the report when I remembered I used a knife to chisel the frozen food apart. Sure enough, I checked the knife and the tip was missing. I BROKE A KNIFE on their rock hard food.
The napkin thing I have personal experience with. I mean, each napkin is 1% of one penny! I know it adds up but still.... just give us a wad of napkins and stfu!
You may not actually believe this, but being a 43 year old man, I have bigger things to worry about than the amount of napkins a fast food restaurant gave me.

Why she wasn't on her way to the hospital and instead stopping by my store I'll never know; I was the one who made her "allergy warning" order in the first place and avocado never even touched my gloves.
She sounds delusional 🤦🏿♀️
What about that time where someone tried suing Burger King for cooking the Impossible Whopper on the same broiler they use for the regular burgers? 😅
@@darrylkinslow5613 right burger king feeds people that's enough of they decide to get a separate grill they will

the teens that tried to sue McDonalds because the fast food chain made them fat, that made me angry. It was the teen's fault, not McDonalds. The teens made their own choice by eating there and gaining the weight. If they didn't want to get fat as they claimed, then maybe they shouldn't eat at McDonalds a lot. I love eating at McDonalds but I don't eat there every day. The teens in the lawsuit, I mean, come on! You should've known better.

McDonald's has admitted that they put addictive artificial flavors and scents in their food though. Just a little known fact.
@@billyt.7306 I knew about the artificial flavors but actual SCENTS? nah I’m going to stop eating this garbage. Looks like I’ll be paying more to eat a real burger at five guys. Even Wendy’s is better

I very recently bought a box of steak-umms. I had made a couple of sandwiches and upon making the last sandwich and taking a bite of it I bit into something hard. I pulled out a piece of metal. A small rounded bead of metal weld. I've contacted the company through Facebook. They got in contact with corporate who emailed me offering to reimburse me for my purchase. But they wanted the Original receipt, and proof of purchase off the box. I wrote back and told them the box is in a public dumpster that I will not be digging thru to find the box. And I didn't have the receipt bc I didn't plan on having any issues with my groceries. Just yesterday they wrote me another email asking for my address. Maybe a gift card or a coupon for a free box is coming my way.
There are a lot of people who seem to have more free time on their hands than I do.
Werzberger greedy chew!

im glad they didnt mention the lady that sued mcdonalds because the coffee was way way to scalding hot. that lady had 3rd degree burns. that means that skin will not grow back and nerves and muscles get burnt. and her lady parts were burnt. lots of people joke about that being a scam lawsuit but it was a nasty situation.
McDonalds had known for years that their coffee was too hot. 180F-190F. Over 130F will give you 3rd degree burns. They refused to lower the temperature or issue warnings. They got off light.

This is the way to solve your ice issues. Order a drink without ice and then ask for a cup of ice most places give it for free. Then just add your drink to the cup of ice.
I've done it many times. Good solution.
