Great! Best of luck with UA-cam!
@@HowToTechHQ same to u bro
This was great advice, thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you my guy, nobody was explaining how to choose the bitrate based off of upload speed, because I obviously can't take that exact 10.9 and put it in there just like that lol el gato u can but not obs, so thanks
No problem! Glad the info helped!
Thanks Chad, great info 👌
Any time!
Thank u my bro for this helpful video :)
Cheers, thank you a lot!
I Just loved the first 10 seconds :)
YASSSSS it is useful, Thanks you
I need to try these settings for my streaming. I am suffering disconnections, I am pretty sure it has something todo with bitrate or bandwidth. We may see. Thanks for the video!
Ótimo vídeo!!
Hey this actually helps a lot, I have a R 5 1500x with 16 gb RAM and a RX 580 8gb set up and I just got into streaming lately.
I just don't want to stress my cpu a lot while playing so this is a good alternative to drop down the settings to a mid quality vid, thanks a lot man.
You're welcome!
i got questions, first i got a low end laptop with 4gb and a bad processer would this be able to record videos with 480p? and would this effect my ingame fps

Vid's a bit dated, but still very helpful on getting me on the right track. My upload maxes at 3 on a good day and drops to just below 2 on the bad ones. I'd much rather be consistent with poor quality than having dropouts at good quality. Thanks for the info!
Hi Ihave 1.08mbps upload download 10 mbpd
Do you work for me?
I have 25mbps upload and download speed but I still lag even though I just put 2,500 kbps , what do you think is the problem?

Thnx, it helped a lot! I have 5.21 UPLOAD Mbps.
Happy to hear!

I'm subscribing to you!
Oh no lol. Well glad to hear the video helped you! And thank you for Subscribing! Happy streaming!
10.9 mbps I get 2 in a good day xD
fck u i get 0.8
I get like .6
mine is 1.0
I get .5 . In Feb. 2020 the local ISP installed fiber optic in front of my house, they turned onto the road in front of my house after installing it on the side road leading to the right side of my house. They said I would have the option of fiber optic by the end of march. Someone in the line installing crew caught the sickness and the work crew equipment sat in my extra acre above my house for a month and then it all disappeared. The last I heard when school started at home, the local isp had been using cable internet and using some tricks to handle over the 20,000 people that it was setup to process. With school telling all parents to get the internet and the extra people that signed up, the isp was trying to rotate 25,000 on a 20,000 node system. i was told by workers that the nodes were never getting downtime now and that 1 persons job is installing burnt out nodes as fast as he installed 1 another node died from heat. The day he told me, they were installing a new cable internet system and he said nobody has any idea how the new system works, it was the only way to stop nodes burning out every 5 minutes. He said the fiber optic line crew was from atlanta and subcontracted. They disappeared, he said if you ever get on fiber you will be faster because everyone else is on cable plus they run tv on the line also, so you will have an empty internet to yourself for awhile.
I feel what your saying
What if ur upload is under 1 or at 1
hi, I have 19.32 upload Mbps, how would I do it?
You can use 24 NTSC and it will look fine at 720p or higher at least I dunno about 480p probably because I’m Europe there TV is only 24fps, you can stream 720p 30 at a bit rate of 3500 and it looks pretty decent
My upload is 5.23... what should I put?
I have 2.50 mbps upload but when i put 2000 bitrate my online games lag too much
Thank you! This helped me a lot, I have 5mbps upload speed and went from dropping like 5000 frames to literally 0, worth to mentioned I did not have any idea of the settings other than the quality lol
Thanks again, great tutorial :)
Glad it helped!
Song in the end ?
mine is 0.55 what bitrate will it be?
I live in rural Canada and my internet is terrible. I’ve really wanted to start streaming poker on twitch but haven’t because of the internet. This video really helps! Gonna try to get the stream going this weekend 😊
Go for it!
I get 203.8 and 25.2 is that good ?
Bad PC! But thank you so much!
I’m currently streaming on Twitch at 1080p60fps. I’m not an affiliate or a partner so that my viewers have the option for choosing their own video quality. A lot of my viewers say that the stream doesn’t load for them or buffers/stops a lot. Will these setting help stop that happening for my viewers? I’m wanting as many people as possible to be able to watch me till they have the option to change the quality of the stream
Streaming 480p could help that but I would suggest 720p first as it is quite a bit better video quality.
Sir. What if the Upload speed is Below 1.0 pls reply
Do you have any idea about streaming in 480p at 60FPS?
Rip me I get 1 Mbps if I'm lucky.. what should be my bitrate
my upload is 21mbps so what bitrate will that be
i stream with core i5-9300h gtx 1650 4gb dedicated
my internet is still bad when i stream, it struggles to maintain 2000kbps
I am wondering if it's even possible to stream at 480p with my setup. I am using a camera that has 1080p 60fps but we are using a hotspot out in the woods to livestream that caps at around 10 mbps. My RCA capture card says it caps at 1.4 mbps for bitrate, do I have to change the bitrate of the stream to match the bitrate of the capture card? I am using an underwater camera and a pretty cheap laptop.
Also, we are streaming right now and the camera looks like absolute shite. Like REALLY bad. Like less than 240p.
My upload speed is 9 what is my video bitrate and bitrate pls tell
My acer aspire desktop is streaming PC. Internet service Spectrum and it's is awful less powerful uploaded 5.6 speed.. ( there were in old plan)
Ndi help to get gaming PC screen on desktop's screen.. and just by ethernet and switch board to plugged different router and better internet service..
Problem solved.
i have gigabit internet but a Core 2 Quad Q9500. Should i go for 720p30 or 480p60?
If you are gaming I'd say 480p 30fps. If just recording desktop id say 720p30.
My reason is just ky laptop suck and i get so much stutters in game
16.7 Mbps download what do you recommend I use for my bit rate as my stream is pixelated
Download has nothing to do with the bitrate. That's what's your upload speed is
First view first like first comment
First reply, and thank you for watching!
I mean, we all gotta start somewhere
i get 45.44 upload mpbs what to do ;-;
What if my upload speed is 0.04
What do i do if...? i only have 0.8 upload? 650 bitrate?
XD
I have same lol,, did it go well?
classic uk wifi making me come here
my upload bounces from 9 upload to 2 to somethimes 1.5
yo man pls help me so i streamd and i whas whatching with my phone and it whas laging so mutch and pls make a video to help me
Correct me if your wrong but you were streaming, then you were watching it on a separate device (phone). The reason your lagging is because off all the lag your creating yourself. If you just stream your fine but streaming then watching a stream is going to put a ton of stress on your internet so that is most likely the reason for your problem.. just don’t stream and watch a stream at the same time. Go to Speedtest.net on your computer as see what your upload speed is. If it’s about 2MB/s that’s bad. Maybe 6MB/s borderline... and 10+ would be considered good
it made my thing slower, help.
so if my download/upload is 85mb/s my bitrate should be like 80,000?? that seems a bit high idk
Put it at 10k bitrate
Nah just on 2K is enough if you have it on 10 or 80K your game will lag like crap lol
Can i stream league of legends wuthout lag 🤔? i have like 0.80 upload
Literally one of the easiest games to stream, if your game is running fine without lag it should be good on stream aswell unless youre using a laptop or just have a bad processor
Guys what should I do I have my upload at 74.0 mbps so should I put it at 74,000
Max 6000 for good 1080 quality, im jealous lol max 2 mb upload here.
ha i have 800kbs upload speed i stream at 480p 650kbs but the audio bitrate is the key if you have bad internet and your audio is set to 320kbs it aint gonna work mines at 96kbs and i still get frame drops so maybie i should lower it to 600kbs
Google "UA-cam Recommended Bitrate"
i got 68.71 upload is that good?
@@namsukeichinose if got a 950GTX no way I can stream good xd
somebody help, sometimes my stream is blurry , somebody has fix for this?
What's your internet speed?
@@namsukeichinose i have 5mbps up and download speed
What if the upload fluctuates ?? Between 1.5 to 2 mbps
If it fluctuates it's best to base it off the lower number. If that lower number is lower than usual. I'd suggest restarting your router and then testing again.
what if I only have 1.50 Mbps upload speed?
1500
so what about if my upload is 0.60
If your upload is .60 I'd say you probably aren't going to have a good time streaming. You technically still can stream with any bitrate you want but the quality is going to be very bad at 480p with say about .5 up if you factor in any variance in speed.
If I have 25 upload
what if I have 378.17 mbps is that good?
@@namsukeichinose oh thanks I thought I had trash internet at first but thanks for telling me this
My stream is low ass frames and I got a:
1060 6bg oc
Ryzen 7 2700x
16 gb 3200 mhz ram
1 Tb Hard drive
NVME M.2 ssd like 250s gb I think
8 mb/ps upload
My screen is 1366x768 and I down scale my stream to 540 I think and I get hella low frames as a view watching the stream, but in game get 120 fps constant
Help XDD
Edit:My bitrate is set to 3000
Use nvenc encoder
So this will help with bad wifi and drip frames and such
This guy: Claims to know how to use "bad internet" then shows a 10.9 upload speed...
Me: 10.9 is not "bad internet". That's actually decent/mid range. Try 0.65 upload speed... now that's bad internet.
CrypticBlueHue I have the same upload were you able to stream?
@@nerdworks6391 not using this guys tips, but yeah it is possible. Try looking up the channel named Gael level. He has a great vid on how to stream with bad internet. With his tips and playing around with it a little, I am able to stream without lag now 👍
CrypticBlueHue thanks
I used to stream with only .75 to 2 a few years ago so I have applied these settings with bad internet before. My point was to show a example of how to calculate what bitrate you should be able to stream at relating to your internet speed. I do want to state that not all settings work for everyone. Internet bandwith and computer processing power varies so much from situation to situation! If you think a more indepth video explaining how to stream and calculate what bitrate you can stream up to I would be more than happy to look into doing that. And if you need any help checkout our discord and let me know!
@@HowToTechHQ I mean I get where you are coming from and I'm not saying you did a bad job explaining things. Your video does cover the basics someone needs to know if they're going to stream (in general). I'm just saying it's not the best advice or settings suggestions for "bad internet". Especially since my definition of bad internet is not something anywhere near as fast as what's shown. But it's cool. I was mainly just being a grouch. At the time I watched this, I couldn't find anyone showing less than 1.0 for their speed and was starting to worry I wouldn't be able to stream. But I've since found other resources that helped with my questions. So is all good. Thanks for the quick and civil response. Cheers dude.
Dude what if my upload is a .03
same as mine
0.68 upload....
I have just only 1mbps in upload so can I use this video settings for my streaming
What if my upload speed is 0.46🥵
i have 0.89 upload :(
my reason is that my internet upload speed is 0.80 and my pc is the best😂
Sameeee. Internet so slow.
what if my upload speed is 200? does that mean I set my bitrate at 200000???
Definitely not, we wouldn't recommend going over 10k. You're still going to need some upload for the games you're playing and the other things that you're devices are uploading data to.

Oh my god I got upload at 74mbps
Damn i have 16 mbps 0.5
I should just sub now shouldnt i
10.9??? I get 0.69 TF
I have 90mbps upload speed then can stream in 10000kbps
I have 500mb/s should i put it in 500000
Check UA-cam Recommended bitrate for various resolutions.
For 480p it makes no sense to go above 2000 Kbps.
45 ping, 59 download, 3-5 upload.
Agar achha ho ga tu issue istemal kare ge
i get 0.76 upload lol
5mbps upload speed 10mbps download speed..
Not gonna lie, this could be a lot better
I got 30mpbs for my upload. tried to set 3500 bitrate but my stream still lagging. how?
@@namsukeichinose me too and i have intel core i5 10400F
Or maybe you want your cell phone user to be able to watch your stream if you dont have transcoding in twitch 😂
....work on it!
1mbps oof, i need new wifi
same
it doesnt even work
Let’s just say my WiFi is garbage
SKUS streamovat na 300 kb/sec a pak udělej video na špatny Internet !!
