    I sure hope you guys aren’t keeping ANOTHER limit if panfish and crappie. It’s insanity that some people are just so clueless that theses fish are NOT a endless resource. Just like abalone, salmon, etc they will disappear and then myself or my children who enjoy the outdoors and the lifestyle it brings. For some just Being outside and being able to catch a few fish and release them is what it’s about, but instead so many people are just slaughtering everything just because it’s not against the law. Sometimes we have to be the ones to make the right and good decisions. No body know days in California is living off the land. I mean shoot this democratic cesspool encourages people to be poor and they will just give you money and food. So there is no excuse.

      @bubbasilva man YOU have a lot of nerve how dare you come in these people’s page acting like you own the fish it’s none of your business how many fish they catch when you purchase a license the dnr has already Set the limit it’s not up to you or any of you overly opinionated sunburnt people if you’re so worried about Conservation Tell the rest of your Colonial Cousins they should stop fishing hunting and poaching‼️ that a solve the issue

      Good grief... crappie and bream and prolific spawners! no way to out fish them... if anything the size alone shows you the numbers are just right! too many means too much competition for baitfish so they need to be kept thinned out!

      It just depends where you are at the lake. The wind blown in areas have algae build up.

    Need to understand about breeding fish, many people look at it wrong, the males protect the eggs. Females lay a ton of eggs, but since you're keeping the males, there is nothing to protect the eggs and fry. I keep mostly females when they have eggs, moving locations not to overpressure any one area. You can read about what I'm talking about online. Always a controversial subject.

    • @fishingaddict5638
      @fishingaddict5638  11 місяців тому +3

      We only kept 5 so I don’t think we’ll hurt the population any. Thanks for the info.

    • @elkbow
      @elkbow 11 місяців тому +1

      @@fishingaddict5638 there wouldn't be any issues if you kept more, I just wanted to give a different perspective that is possibly better to keep females than males. And realistically, there's no difference when you keep a female when they're not spawning. So really doesn't matter what you keep when, males or females, they both fry up the same 😁.
