I found this channel after talking with someone at a local DC fast charger about this video. I love my British Racing Green Cooper SE! It is so well built. In the summer we get 5mi/kWh fairly regularly. It just goes and goes. Plus in ‘22 the base model was just over 20k after state and federal rebates. Kyle said it’s a good third car. I say it is a perfect first car. Any old ICE car is good enough for the few time a person needs to road trip.
Why don’t people like buying used EV’s? Because somebody who has never driven one has told them that they will need to buy a hugely expensive new HV Battery every 3-4 years which as those of us who do own and drive EV’s know is utter rubbish. I love that Robert Llewelyn of the Fully Charged channel replaced his MK 1 Leaf’s battery after 11years and nearly tripled its range because the battery tech had moved on so much in those 11 years. I also drive a BRG Mini S E - it was my 2nd car to a diesel 2020 Land Rover Defender………….. but it’s so much fun on Scottish roads that the Mini gets more use than the lovely Defender! Mind you the Mini is pretty useless when it comes to going offroad………..
Great video!

It is the most fun per dollar car I have ever owned.
Kyle’s the best 👍 thanks for showing off the mini Bob
Nice video Bob! Just love that color
Enjoyed the car and video. Thanks.
Nice car! I only wish it had a little more range
Absolutely. Just 50km more would make 1-day trips so much more comfortable... but it is what it is
Do we get a tax credit for a used mini se that's under 25k. ?
Thanks. Shows Leaf battery tech is lacking thanks to no liquid cooling.
