I couldn't agree with you more. I leased an ID4 in August. My sales person was young and inexperienced. She even said she would make sure it was full of gas! Please don't. To me, home charging is so important and not even covered at my dealer. I live near Austin, TX, and I'm 74. Would love to see a how-to video on a complete ID4 user setup.

I worked in the car business for several years and I am appalled at what the industry has become. Before my Model 3 lease was up, I went shopping. Model Y, ID.4, and Ioniq5 were top of my list. My local Hyundai dealer straight up told me they thought EVs were a fad and weren't going to carry or service them. the VW dealer wouldn't answer tax incentive questions without nailing down a vehicle. Like c'mon! I was 9 months out from a lease return, willing to order now, but you won't tell me how VW was handling the tax credit or structuring leases?!?! I worked in the business, you're jsut being lazy! (At the time, the online configurator was not working for the 23 ID.4). I cross shopped a few other vehicles, but the experiences were the same. Suffice it to say I ended up buying, not leasing, a Model Y. If the OEMs want to know why EVs aren't selling, just visit ANY *typical* dealership.
I still think the VW ID.4s give you the best seats and ride for the money. However, the lack of a heat pump, true battery pre-heating, and world class software/electronics give the edge to Hyundai. I also have an opportunity to work with Ford, Mazda, and GM automobiles in my new position. I really do not sell cars (I hate paperwork!) but I help people find the right car for them. I will be making more videos in the near future, but will have less of a focus on VW.

I owned ioniq-5 limited 2022.was absolutely amazing but, 12 volt battery issue & in the shop for 145 days pushed us over the edge & Hyundai bought it back, thinking 2025 ioniq might be the future ticket, it was such a "wow" ev. Looking for your up coming videos, popcorn's all ready! 😜👌👍
I think GM makes a good product, I just wish they would put out more cars. I was able to take out a Hummer for a few hours and loved it! I will get behind the wheel of the Lyriq soon.

What do you think about the Cadillac lyriq
