I always wondered why the A340s cfm56 have the similar shape of the IAE V2500 instead of having the same shape as the engines on the a320 if that makes any sense
@@greatflyer_aviation at first I thought a350 was slow climber, but actually her climb is better than a320. A340-300 on the other hand use ground effect and follow curvature of Earth 😅
When 2 A320s merge together to create a masterpiece
That's right!
Great video I love the buzz soar of the A340 thank god for Eidelweis and Lufthansa for still flying them!
I feel the absolute same, also LH for flying the passenger 747🙏😍 Have you checked out my Lufthansa 747 trip reports?
🔥👌🏽
And also Swiss
I love that buzzsaw sound
Me too, check out my full trip report uploaded last week!

Prepare for the roar of the CFM’s!!!
If you liked the roar, check out my videos onboard the Fokker 70, Fokker 100 and Boeing 717, I’m sure you will enjoy them 😍
Short flight, so it's likely quite light. I was surprised how quickly it took off without relying on Earth's curvature :)
High performance A340 😎
Epic rrrrrrrrt sound ahh so good
I’m flying the A340-300 today with Edelweiss, and an A220 with air Baltic
Love the sound of those little hair dryers. Great video!
Thank you! It was music to my ears. Feel free to share it to support my work!
Boeing 757 with Pratt and Whitney engines sound like this as well! :D 0:53
Epic video mate!
Thank you so much, stay tuned for the full trip report!
Great take-off ❤
Thanks for watching, check out the full trip report!
That was outstanding
Thanks Yianni, stay tuned for the full trip report!
I love edelweiss
I loved them too! What Edelweiss aircraft have you flown with?
I loved them too! What Edelweiss aircraft have you flown with?
I would have time to eat a five course meal during that takeoff roll Jesus airbus! Pitiful
Wow! ...sono decollato tante volte dalla 25 per Est da LIRF ❤️
Thanks for watching!
Love Swiss to keep A340s❤
I cant believe this thing was supposed to have 4 (modern day) PW-1000g engines. That would sound very quiet.
Those CFM engines sound like a JT8D
It sounded like cfm56-5b a320 for me
Loved watching this 👍🏻😍
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Forgot the A340 even existed
Me too 😳
@@greatflyer_aviation I made a drawing of your thumbnail lol
Muito bacana o vídeo!!!
Bonita a cabine do A340!!!
Valeu!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Obrigado!

I always wondered why the A340s cfm56 have the similar shape of the IAE V2500 instead of having the same shape as the engines on the a320 if that makes any sense
I think they added more compressor stages for the a340 cfms, hence the longer shape
Great ..... keep going
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for the whole flight!
Can I use this for my video
2hrs later: We’ve reached our cruising altitude of 28,000ft
Браво! Read you 5 by 5. Engines not so bad))
Thanks for watching Alexander.

Bro how your cam don’t move like that ??
Mini suction cup mount. Thanks for watching!
We all know when an A340 is coming because of this sound
Edelweiss said they’re not getting rid of their A340s for another 4 years!
still climbing as of 2024 😁😁
A330 with 4 A320 engines: A340-300
Should be the A340-320
@@barrettgross3539 yeah lol
CFM sounds like RB211 engines on the 757
The 757 is on my bucket list but it’s getting rarer and rarer 🥲
@@greatflyer_aviation delta is still flying them. I’ve flown on almost every plane except the 757
When a A330 and A320 merge together
Exactly!
Rome to Zurich in an A340? :D
Only on that specific day 😇 Have you checked out my videos on the 747 from Frankfurt to Palma and back? ✈️

Top 4 popular airliners of the Airbus A340: No. 1 - Lufthansa: No. 2 - Edelweiss: No. 3 - Swiss: No. 4 - Surinam Airways:
The only oldest plane that it’s still in service and the A340-600s too
Gotta love the A340 😍
engines screaming CFM!!!!!!!!!!! on takeoff
A340: A Quad-Jet A330 With Four A320 Engines
Exactly right 😉 Check out my videos in Lufthansa’s 747-8 for a different sounding quadjet!
The super A320
A320 doubled!
When I fly with a350, I rage the aircraft being pig. But when I see a340-300, I'll take my word back, maybe I'm too harsh to the a350.
The A340 and A350 are such different aircraft, it’s impressive.

sound like a 737 do to the cfm 56 engines
737 x2 😈
@@greatflyer_aviation yea lol
