- A touching video of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's graduation ceremony at St Andrews university is doing the rounds on social media. The clip sees the couple at the age of 23 collecting their degrees, a 2:1 in geography for William and a 2:1 in art history for Kate. And watching the pair with pride is William's family including Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince Philip and the Queen herself who is every bit the proud grandmother.

That is so amazing that the Future King and Queen have this shared experience with their families present. They have come such a long way which is why it's even more special to see them go about these days, always impeccable and wonderful work as the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Except that sadly, Diana, his mother, NEVER got to see any of the milestones, of her children. She missed out on a lot. It breaks my heart. 😔

@@ellechimliag3940 Sorry for that , my mistake , I misunderstood that if the king is the king then her spouse is still the princess/duchess but that is not the case as it was with Queen Elizabeth that her husband was still a prince. But yes you are correct as Princess charles has became king charles and her wife the Queen. Sorry for my misunderstanding.... Had to look it up on the internet.

The Queen really looked to proud like any grandma would. I know she has 2 older grandkids before William but I guess that extra excitement is from the fact that she was not regularly educated. This may be the only time she actually attended a normal school event.

Why didn't they convert it to the House of Mountbatten when Queen Elizabeth acceded to the throne whilst already married to Prince Philip?

They are humble and know how to conduct themselves appropriately despite being royals
Not really it just tells you that the credence of labelling them as royalty is absurd since they do everything we do. They are human after all. Being royal is a title we have given them.

Not ironic at all. At university William was not addressed as "Prince" and we heard him announced here merely as William Wales (as his father was Prince of Wales at the time). When our current King Charles was at Cambridge University he was called Charles Windsor (as his mother was Queen). No pretentiousness or pomp - just another student who gained his Degree.
How old was the Queen here?
I don't mind the royals, they preserve our history.
And stop any Politician or General from trying to be the next Napoleon. Plus the £millions they bring to charities.

William Wales? Am confused. I always read that they use the surname Windsor-Mountbatten when surname was needed, why didnt they use it here?
William's father (then) was the Prince of Wales which is why he was called 'William Wales'. When King Charles was at Cambridge University he was known as 'Charles Windsor' as his mother was Queen and her reign was under The House of Windsor. Hope that makes sense? William and Catherine's children were known as "George Cambridge" etc when his parents were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but now they are the Prince and Princess of Wales, George, Charlotte and Louis will be known as "George Wales" etc. Through their own choice members of the senior Royal Family are never referred to as Prince or Princess at their place of education.

In this setting the queen and prince Phillip was just being proud grandparents and well prince Charles was a proud father no titles they were there as a family supporting prince William on his college degree.
University is a lot different to College in the UK. You don't get Degrees at college for one thing; and it was harder to get accepted into a university then.

Because in European Countries, the children take the place their parents rule over as their last name. Charles and Diana were the Prince and Princess of Wales so William and Harry take the last name of Wales. William and Catherine are now the Prince and Princess of Wales so George, Charlotte and Louis now bare the last name of Wales,
Wales because his dad was then the Prince of Wales so he and Harry took that surname when necessary.
When he became Duke of Cambridge and had children the children took on Cambridge as a surname ay school - I assume they will have Wales as well now

I should have graduated over six + months ago, however, there is NO communication, only financial, psychological, and physical abuse, in addition to, cover up to the other sinister crimes that have taken place, yet again, from 2017-2021 !

@@BlueSwampyCraft society must be aware of the horrific, sadistic terrorizing and sabotage that transpires on the Central Connecticut State University campus in New Britain, CT. Two computers were ruined, cell phone virus, problems with my printing jobs, almost ran over on campus multiple times, a few professors playing psychological games, a few professors playing games with my thesis (how does a student who wrote a 50+ page thesis ...with accurate data get a F ?!? ) because Dr. Cubellis kept playing games with the data.
Initially, I wanted to implement my own survey, compile the data, run the correct test (T-test - quantitative data) and input the data in my thesis. She tried to persuade me not to do that, (because it is a game ?!? ) and that I should wait until I am in the PhD program. However, the lies are x 1000, and what was stated in a private phone conversation is trying to come to fruition ! However, I will NOT get screwed again !
The student loan debacle/academic loan sharking, BLOCKED employment (IT illegal infiltration/hacking), BLOCKED housing to live in peace has been CRIMINAL ! I do not need to be victimized any longer to either know what it feels like, or be a criminal justice major. Is that what this is ? I have to suffer more to be in this major ?
Also, I do not need to be splashed with dirty street water as I am walking over a mile to campus, by possibly a student driving a blue sedan, with Connecticut license plate BLUDVL ...or a combination of something similar ! Who does that ? Clearly, someone who is sadistic and highly disordered ! I was walking because my vehicle was vandalized/destroyed from 2010/2011-2015 in the State of Connecticut as well ! I was being financially abused and tormented ! I reported the vandalism to the police in different jurisdictions, and it was basically ignored ! I also reported it to the Mayor of Berlin, CT and I was mocked by him and others in law enforcement ! That is NOT funny, when someone works three low paying jobs to the point of exhaustion to pay off the vehicle !
I do not think that people fully understand how much victimization/horrific abuse certain individuals have had to go through their entire lives ! All of it is true, and I never agreed to this !
My infant daughter and I have been victimized enough in the country, that allows the abusers/criminals to continue their CRIMES ! Since when are psychopaths/ASPD/Dark Triad individuals allowed to target and terrorize someone ?
No one should ever be put through that ...especially when the abuse comes from internally (your own adopted family) and the outside (society).
There is much more to this, however, you get the point !
Some of the law enforcement officers are correct, there is not a prison/with a mental health unit, large enough to house all of clinically insane criminals that have been allowed to roam freely in the State of Connecticut, and elsewhere !
In addition, the directive to commit these horrific crimes and abuses is coming from a source, and that source MUST be sued !! Also, I do NOT have a SUD or mental health issues, which are more LIES being spread (Tort Law Offense).
I, and there may be others, have suffered enough ! How long is this clinically insane behavior/criminality going to transpire ?

It's not, it was just the name he went by during his school days like their children went by the name Cambridge and now Wales at school. His surname is Mountbatten-Windsor.

Likewise when Charles was at Cambridge University he was addressed as "Charles Windsor" as his mother was Queen in the reign of The House of Windsor. Prince George used to be registered as George Cambridge when his father was the Duke of Cambridge but since William became the Prince of Wales when his father became King, all three children of William and Catherine are called George, Charlotte and Louis Wales now when at school. The reason is because the parents want them to be treated the same as all the other students.

oh common.. lots of people around the world, whether rich or poor go to university or college. Plus, going to university doesn't mean you are privileged. Princess Diana and Prince Harry didn't go to university or college and yet they are aristocrats who were/are filthy rich. Kids that go for post-secondary education typically value higher education. William and Catherine are rich enough that they didn't have to go to university but they did and that shows that they respect learning and advancing their knowledge.

You say that but the inverse is also true. Opportunities never happened always. And the privilege you say? They're born into it. Of course they will work harder than anyone else for they may want privacy but their duties and services are to the public and masses.
Cry me a river. LOTS of people come from poor families with limited resources, but they work hard and make something of themselves! I work with many people like that. Everyone, in western countries at least, has the opportunity to get an education and be successful. Some of the wealthiest people and biggest business founders over the years started out with very little. But they didn't let that stop them. If you go through life with your "woe is me" attitude, a chip on your shoulder, and envying other people whose lives you know nothing about, then don't expect to get far in life!
