This woman saw a crippling world war, lots of civil unrest following that war, and then had to deal with multiple scandals within her own family. If that woman hadn’t developed a snarky sense of humour, she’d have never made it to her 90s. Her personal history was not easy.

When Her Majesty smiled, her whole face simply lit up. This 60 year old American misses that smile very much.

@nadejenks I'm an American and have never liked the King or Camilla. How he treated Princess Diana is a big reason for most of us. I remember when she passed and everything that came with it. I've always been interested in the Royal family,Her Majesty was absolutely one of a kind, not only the way she carried out her duties, but the heard work she put in for everything to go smoothly. Very classy and never faltered. She was extremely kind to Megan and did so much for Harry. Megan was never going to fall in line and be a royal. Sadly the way his grandparents were treated is absolutely disgusting. I knew William would marry Catherine, I'm extremely proud of who they've become. I think William will do Her Majesty proud. I think Americans the the royals differently because we don't have a head of state ( King/Queen)
I miss her so, so, much. Not because I'm a royalist, but because she was always there. Someone steady to always look towards in times of such strife and change. She was stabilizing, and I say this not as a subject of Her Majesty, but as an American who understand her value to the world, both as a person and as an omnipresent anchor. She will be so most tremendously missed, perhaps like none other before here. RIP, Your Majesty.

That was absolute GOLD wasnt it! lol... I absolutely loved QEII - doesnt matter what others think - this Aussie thinks she was a stand out, brilliant lady with a wicked sense of humour and a massive love of horses - she was responsible for saving a breed of horse I love and have one of the stallion she bought that helped, great grandsons, he is my stallion and last horse left for me. He and I have a huge understanding and I love him to bits.
It is so obvious how much she loved him. Very sweet.
Same thing happened which William. Except this time she knew he was there. She looked at him with so much pride & fondness. That William's composure was obliterated, by his Granny's cute smile.
The aplomb she carried on with when that little Shetland pony pooped near her at a parade. 😂
We can see clearly how she'll be missed. Always had a quick wit & willing to be a part of everything & everyone loved her whether they knew her or not. She met SO many people during her long reign including Sir Winston Churchill & Marilyn Monroe, omg, who didn't she know. She lived a full & interesting life like no other & we don't know how we'll cope without her but we'll have to as our lives go on. God bless U dear Queen Elizabeth, U won't be forgotten.🌹

My mother owned an emerald exactly the size of Princess Diana's iconic ring, only in a square shape and surrounded by diamonds. A fabulous Colombian pure Emerald. Unfortunately, I did not inherit it. It was sold for family reasons.

Yeah she had seen the Shetland pony on quite a few occasions when inspecting the troops. So she knew how it would react that day. The officer standing next to the pony that day said the queen was walking up the hill and had a wee rye smile of her face and a sparkle in her eye when she noticed them both standing there and thats why she held the 💐 down near the pony so as to tease him. Fun fact the 1st animal the queen owned was a shetland pony. This was the start of a life long relationship with equine breeds

I agree. My mother was alive when she was made queen, and now I've witnessed the coronation of her son. She was already queen when I was born, and was here my entire life. Even though I'm American, I loved and greatly admired her, wept when she died, and feel a huge hole from her passing. She was the greatest, most universally loved, admired, and respected monarch in all of history. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧 God save the King!

Love how she carried herself. She aged so well. Very elegant to the end. It was sad in her last days her being so frail. Not used to seeing her like that. Not even a few months back but I’m sure the grief of her beloved also maybe contributed to her passing.

RIP you beautiful woman. May not be British but she had such an astounding presence and one of the most interesting histories of many of the monarchs. Being able to have fun and show a lighter side really made her such a standout on the world stage.
