We did it!!!! We visited all 63 National Parks! It was a wonderful journey, seeing all of the beautiful parks in this wonderful country we live in, the United States of America! So many parks, each interesting and unique. I hope everyone enjoyed viewing our journey.
Thanks for bringing me along on your journey. Loved all your videos. I have mixed feelings about you both finishing. Hope you continue to do your posts. High quality content all the way to the end. God bless you both.
Hi Ed, Yes, I'll be posting more videos. Now that I've been to all 63, I can justifiably rank them and do some "composites". Anything in particular you'd like to see?
@@JourneytoAllNationalParks I expect that ranking them will be a chore, but fun and well worth it. If you and Loretta (?) continue to hike in State Parks please post those if it’s not too much trouble. Thanks for asking for my input. Are you NC based?
@@mattc4266 We have revisited a few parks (Bryce for example) and also visited the top Canadian parks (Jasper, Banff, Yoho). During the pandemic, we stayed close to home and visited all 41 North Carolina state parks in one year (May 2020 to May 2021). There are some great state parks and we'll have to keep that on our list!
I was so excited to get the notification for this video. Congrats on making it to #63. What an accomplishment. We are on #27 and have used your videos to help us plan for the ones we have visited and those coming up this year. You both are a gift to those of us who are on the same Quest
Thank you so much for this comment! I'm so happy to hear others are on this journey. What's you favorite park so far? I'm not sure what we'll do next. Any good ideas? As part of the National Parks visit, and other travels, we've been to 49 out of the 50 states. We will have to visit Oklahoma to complete the 50 states!
@@JourneytoAllNationalParks Of the 27 National parks we have visited, Glacier and Yellowstone rank very high on our favorites list. We often laugh because we are a "list-making" family but find it hard to rank the National Parks because they are all fantastic. As we travel to the "Big" parks, we try to hit the smaller parks nearby, and many of them have blown us away. Parks like Craters of the Moon, Grant-Kohrs Ranch, Fort Union Trading Post, Little Bighorn, agate Fossil Beds, Dinosaur, etc. We find that the Rangers and volunteers at these parks deeply love the place and are eager and passionate about it, as I'm sure you have experienced. As for ideas about visiting the parks in every category (?) Seashores, Historic Sites, Monuments, Battlefields, etc. You do such a great job of presenting the parks. I'd love to see more from you in any park, to be honest
@@jymnmeier3527 I agree with your top parks. I am working on some videos for "top parks" etc. now that I've been to all the big National Parks, I feel more qualified to rank them. I will keep in mind about a video on "how to plan". Thanks for the suggestion. We've been to more than 100 National Park Service locations (i.e. national monuments, memorials, lake shore etc.). I've published videos for some of them and some of them rival the big National Parks.
Congratulations on completing all 63 national parks 🎉 Thank you so much for sharing that with us as well. I'm curious where did you get the certificate shown in video which says visited in all 63 national park?
What a wonderful last park to visit and an amazing achievement! Congratulations. Looking forward to whatever you may have planned in the future as well.
@@JourneytoAllNationalParks It might seem not very novel but there's lots of incredible state parks as you know. When we manage to get out and travel we like to look for the local experience whatever that might be. Michigan has become a favorite of ours (we're from KY) and they have lovely state parks like Mackinac Island ,Tahquamenon Falls, Warren Dunes and Porcupine Mountains. I always like to add in the very cool Kitch-iti-kipi. I'm sure most states have hidden gems as well.
@@DonJoeBob Thanks for the suggestions! We passed through Mackinac Island on our way to Isle Royale and that's one place I want to visit longer. Yes, there are many great state parks and dare I say - better than some National Parks? I'm thinking about Custard State Park in South Dakota.
Just visited last week. Was on a cruise ship. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is an amazing place. It was my 59th park . The reason I took the cruise.Thank you so much for the video. I enjoyed it very much .
Congratulations on visiting all the Parks! Last year I also completed my bucket list of visiting all 63 National Parks by visiting the National Park of American Samoa. You might enjoy my video with a few scenes I captured from each Park: ua-cam.com/video/YpOBGkJJ1M8/v-deo.htmlsi=ayNyLi5DX6y6rJkX
