In the video, I am using a Wacom Intuos Pro - the Large Size - it has programmable buttons and is great for machine embroidery digitizing, and is reasonably priced.
Link? Or model # for my own search. Thank you.
Glad to see you back Sue! Your videos are exceptional...
Woohoo thank you! Great to be back on the channel! Lots more to come - classes, tutorials and machine work!

Hi love,
What size tablet would you recommend?
The Wacom Intuos S/M Drawing Tablet Pistachio?
They only come in 2 sizes.
Small and Medium
Is there a way to mimic clicking and dragging to do freehand open shapes?
I have not ever used a pen and tablet. But certainly think this might be something I'd be interested in at some point!! Looks like it might be easier and faster once you got ued to it. And I bet with freehand, you could really do a lot! Thanks for the video!
the freehand tool is fantastic with a pen!! yes, it may take a bit to get used to, but once you try it, there is no turning back! that's what everyone says!!
Got one for Christmas! Now...rewatching your video! Need to figure it out!!
I find it a lot easier to use a full-screen tablet. I got a full-size XP-Pen and it is awesome. You load the Hatch program onto the screen and work on the actual program . It is not that expensive.
That is great! I have a Wacom also, but I am using PE Design 10. Any chance a video on using the Wacom for that??? I actually have 2. I am currently using One by Wacom. Thank you for all of your time in these videos.
yes, you can use wacom with any software - it takes the place of your mouse!
I. Love Wacom
me too!!
Hi Sue, Love your videos. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with a two button pen. I am not have any luck with the flick move for the right mouse click. Any thoughts? Thanks, Bonnie
Make sure that your Windows is completely up to date. I also have a Surface Pro 3 - it takes a bit of practice to get it right. You can also change the resolution of the screen so that things appear larger - that has helped a few people out to get it right. I have a video on the movement and how to do it successfully! Hope that helps!!
Sweet
:)
Are you able to use pen on freehand open shape? I bought a wacom intuos M but it does not work on freehand. Anything I’m doing wrong?
Rose Montgomery I bought a Wacom tablet for just that reason and I couldn’t get it to do the freehand either, I was so annoyed I gave the tablet to my daughter
Wow! What a game-changer for doing digitizing - thank you Sue. Would you mind sharing where in Canada you purchased your Wacom from?
I got mine from Dell because they had a sale on it, and I could make payments. It's fantastic for embroidery, photoshop and video editing.
What are your settings on your tablet . I just got this one for $60 it's hard to digitize with. Soon as the pen is close to the tablet it's moving. It's there a way to drag it then click it but not just always moving
wacom has a settings platform that sets up all of those kind of details.
Is this a downloadable app you can use on a Mac Book Pro and how much is it?
this is not an app at all. Yes, you can use it on a MacBook Pro - and the price depends on where you are, and which kind you get. There are many brands, but I have mostly Wacom - so you can head over to their site and check them out.
How do you click enter with the stylus pen after open/closed digitizing to turn it into the stich
there are two buttons that you can click.
