The Fendertones perform Pet Sounds for a charity event.
Pet Sounds

Recorded on October 16, 2004
Audio: 40 tracks using ProTools on a Mac G5
Mixed in Logic 8 on a Mac Pro Quad-Core.
Video: Recorded using 3 DVCams and 1 handicam.
The video was edited using Final Cut Pro.
The final video was assembled using Final Cut, Soundtrack Pro and Logic.
The Fendertones are top notch at what they do as a Beach Boys cover band. They haven't put out anything lately that I know of. I hope they resume doing this.
This is one of those songs that could play an extended version for about an hour and not get boring.

3 years ago, I had the privilege of seeing Brian Wilson with AL Jardine perform Pet Sounds in Boston. I can go to my grave happy, my life is complete.

I can't believe I discovered this group (today)... INCREDIBLE re-creation of The Beach Boys. This put a tear in my eyes.
Brian, Mike, Al, Bruce, & Dave, aka Beach Boy's Know about The Fendertones!! They have all meet sang together. The young guy in blue, blond hair was 19 when he played this. He's about 28 now. The Fendertones are awesome, an keep to the real Beach Boys recordings!!
The youngster was great,to see them all in the later videos,this group of musicians are brilliant,I listen to them constantly,

One of my greatest thrills was seeing the Brian Wilson Pet Sounds Tour and hearing this live. It must be great to see the Fendertones but I guess they are no longer performing.

These guys get together only for fun or for charity. There are a couple of common surnames and people step in and out over the years, and people who perform with The Beach Boys past and present do sometimes play with them. All the people in The Fendertones actually have full careers and lives, or at least that's my impression. They don't tour, don't live for youtube views, and don't use this to further their unrelated careers, although there seem to be a few that also perform music in local Philly area.
I wish I could sit in on one their sessions and would pay to do so. I am a huge Beach Boys fan since 1966 and have seen them in concert about 125 times. NO group even comes close to duplicating the studio sound of The Beach Boys as the Fendertones do. They are fantastic !!!! I thank them for giving me hours upon hours of joy watching and listening their videos.

The Tele, Ric 12, Dano etc, were all going through a first series Line 6 Flex.ll inside the "Coke machine. The Jag was through a Fender Dual Professional. The blonde Bassman was just a prop.

Wow. I just stumbled across the Fendertones..... AAAAmazing!! These guys sound more like the Beach Boys than the Beach Boys do. Would love to see 'em live. Do they tour?? Something?? Nothing here from Live Nation or the local bookers. "Here" is the desert, west of Feenix AZ. Wow.....

The Telecaster (all Reece's parts Ric 12, Dano bass) was played through an early version the Line6 Flextone amps.
