The market in manila is the divisoria market. I remember those portable rattan chicken coop/cages in the foreground. The man on the left carrying bunches of bananas is walking on the other side of muelle de binondo. I could faintly remember the steps descending toward the canal, estero de binondo. You made me think hard where the spacious frontage of the market is where hawkers who's not renting space inside ply their trade. On the lower right is a street (not seen) called commercio where fermented fish sauce (bagoong) wholesalers are located. Hahaha, what an image to jog my memory 😄👍
You even included the northern itneg people who speak ilocano as well as their native tongue that mother occasionally mention as an aside. I recall her saying that their language sounds bird-like while she had difficulty comprehending them.
