The market in manila is the divisoria market. I remember those portable rattan chicken coop/cages in the foreground. The man on the left carrying bunches of bananas is walking on the other side of muelle de binondo. I could faintly remember the steps descending toward the canal, estero de binondo. You made me think hard where the spacious frontage of the market is where hawkers who's not renting space inside ply their trade. On the lower right is a street (not seen) called commercio where fermented fish sauce (bagoong) wholesalers are located. Hahaha, what an image to jog my memory 😄👍

The canal in manila looks like muelle de binondo where I used to play with kids in my neighborhood. I still encountered one or two cascos moored there back then. At the back of hotel oriente is an american (named?) hospital where i was born. I often passed by the ruins of hotel oriente before they constructed the metrobank downtown center at tytana street (formerly oriente) and frequent plaza calderon in front. Yeah, i'm travelling through time 😄
