The irony of trust is this: If you trust someone you know will never betray you, or who is incapable of doing so, you don't trust at all. That requires no faith because there's little to no risk. Trust is only possible when the person you trust is somewhat unpredictable and fully capable of betraying you in the worst ways. But then, the question arises: Why trust if you know they can betray? Doesn't that make you a fool? No. It doesn't. Jordan said it perfectly. Trusting and thinking the person can't burn you is naive. Trusting and knowing the person can, but trusting anyways, is courage.

How about if you have too much to lose? It’s easy to trust when you have nothing to lose. What about financial loss? Opportunity loss? Losing children, your health, your freedom and all the things you might sacrifice.
So true Sara, I think that is such a valuable topic! Trust can be such a scary thing when you have so much to lose. I would love to share with you one of my all time favourite quotes: "A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch, but on its own wings." May you never forget the power you hold within yourself 🙏
All these things we call ours are never ours, rather blessings given to experience as we live. To horde good things yields painful consequences later on. The only thing that belongs to us is contained in our own being and anything out of it is beyond what we can control. Yet to accept it just as it is requires a process of acclimation that comes in phases. Rather than worry ,live life full and enjoy the good we have right here and now.😊
@@joshuabaru2908 I think it’s amazingly beautiful a human can have so much hope, however, it’s a big lie to say that we don’t quantify our risk. Trusting in Jesus Christ is different than trusting in your spouse let’s say, or trusting your business partner - in those cases, we put up safeguards, for example in the case of a spouse, we have a legal marriage and in the case of a business partner, a contract. There’s nothing virtuous about being gullible, there is something practical about choosing to trust in specific cases and especially if that person is trustworthy.
@@SaraSara-bc8ts yes, that is a very good point that I admit have overlooked at times. Maybe it's due to my personal bias of wanting things to be reduced to simplified statements but this naivety has caused so much avoidable pitfalls if approached in a more quantified manner. As a mentor once kept reminding, "never do anything halfheartedly or it will backfire." It took some painful experiences to get the lesson through my thick head. Yes, to approach any situations without prior thoughtful consideration and plan is fooliness.
I can honestly say that there is not one person on earth that I completely trust. There is only one person, my brother, that I mostly trust. I am extremely lonely even though I'm married and have two beautiful kids that I love more than life itself.
Who can you trust? An older sibling? No. An ex-partner? No. Friends? ... maybe one or two. Trust yourself. Trust God. Be like titanium. Someone you are spiritually connected to? Yes.
I know I am wrong. I think it is easier when you have a family and strong support system. I don't have that right now. But I am going to have to let everyone do what they need to do. It may mean something bad or it may be what a person in business needs to do.
I know this for a fact evident of what has transpired, evident of me having to continue having to embalm my son remove vipers and the rest of the satanism going on here.
Think about what YOU as a person is capable of, and only then will you realize that humans can not be given the full extent of your trust. Trust based on human interaction is solely based on the innate needs and desires of what satisfies the palette of said person. Trust GOD and extend grace to Humans
I’ll believe the message when it doesn’t come with numerous adds for “get rich quick” schemes. Is being wealthy a realistic goal for everyone? You’ll never have enough wealth if that’s your only goal. Reaching your potential is an attainable goal for everyone. You can improve your health by changing your habits. You can improve your financial circumstances by changing your habits. And most important, you can improve your relationships by changing your habits. Change your habits, change your outcomes. It’s really that simple and it’s possible for everyone.

Thank you Jordan Peterson . ( Ray Martins old aunt )
7:54 - Having 10 or 15 people that you can be completely open, honest and Vulnerable with.
Without those things in life that test us , we would never grow. The lone tree growing in the planes will have stronger roots than the tree in the middle of the forest. Let the winds of time and change build strength in you. It is more a benefit to behave ethically for you and all you come in contact with.
I am strict person ,I am facing these situations since 10 yrs of time, so I always be alert regarding trouble, silently they want to kill me by any means may be they will succeed, they are very Intelligent.
Be kind
someone pray for me I been going through a lot
How about if you have too much to lose? It’s easy to trust when you have nothing to lose. What about financial loss? Opportunity loss? Losing children, your health, your freedom and all the things you might sacrifice.
So true Sara, I think that is such a valuable topic! Trust can be such a scary thing when you have so much to lose. I would love to share with you one of my all time favourite quotes: "A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch, but on its own wings." May you never forget the power you hold within yourself 🙏
Everything's a gamble
Reading Jordans Book and I can feel.thr process how his words arr changing me. Go and get thr book. There are now life crisis, just perspective crisis
I found alot new people here
Only saw my parents trustful very trustful
Else .. everyone’s gone yup everyone
Trust is like predicting the future, that someone would never do anything wrong to you. Is that true? Why trust, why risk?
YOU CAN TRUST NO ONE IN THIS LIFE, MAN WILL ALWAYS FAIL YOU, BUT YOU CAN TRUST GOD ALMIGHTY AND YOUR FAMILY/BLOOD, NO ONE ELSE EVER!!!!!!!!!
Strictly speaking most traumas are caused by family members. The very people you love or who say they love you cause those events ect.
Thanks.
True
Thanks
Who can you trust? An older sibling? No. An ex-partner? No. Friends? ... maybe one or two. Trust yourself. Trust God. Be like titanium.
Someone you are spiritually connected to? Yes.
I know I am wrong. I think it is easier when you have a family and strong support system. I don't have that right now. But I am going to have to let everyone do what they need to do. It may mean something bad or it may be what a person in business needs to do.
Ah this ✨
Thank You 🙏✨✨✨✨🌞🇺🇸🧐
My family killed my soul. Pray for me.
I don't know if I can trust or not trust a homemaker I employed. I am elderly.
One lives and learns in life this is fact naivety disappears with age it's with these lessons in the knowing then one gains wisdom
Trust nobody. You can not trust yourself. So trust nobody ever.
I know this for a fact evident of what has transpired, evident of me having to continue having to embalm my son remove vipers and the rest of the satanism going on here.
Thanks for the video🌺
I’m just going to say one thing joy is there if you choose to partake of it or not it’s just a choice nothing more
Think about what YOU as a person is capable of, and only then will you realize that humans can not be given the full extent of your trust. Trust based on human interaction is solely based on the innate needs and desires of what satisfies the palette of said person.
Trust GOD and extend grace to Humans
Can't trust your own Heart. Who can you trust?
I’ll believe the message when it doesn’t come with numerous adds for “get rich quick” schemes. Is being wealthy a realistic goal for everyone? You’ll never have enough wealth if that’s your only goal. Reaching your potential is an attainable goal for everyone. You can improve your health by changing your habits. You can improve your financial circumstances by changing your habits. And most important, you can improve your relationships by changing your habits. Change your habits, change your outcomes. It’s really that simple and it’s possible for everyone.
One has to trust oneself first and foremost it's in ourselves gut instinct this is fact
Mr. Peterson, I am pessimistic, I have problems with trust, I am not doing anything without be 100% shure,
I can’t have the exclusive way to gambling in my life, who will be behind me when I falls, ? And why to take risk if it not necessary, I am very responsible person,
My children knows that my promise is like a rock. Because the life made me stronger and staff . Nobody can
Cheet me, because I start to ask questions , and digest to knowing all the Detail that are relevant.
I'm only trust reliable person who gave me courage and who backed to me throught my life ı'm tired all fake thing therefore ı hard trust someone
I trust no body I trust human behavior, people want love people want power people have desires I know that I trust you because you know what you gonna get with me ,and I'll provide to get what I want that's my limit in trust . I became I monster but once I was a good man I trusted and I got broken so many times it hurts it still does , be strong like he said human are strong that's the only thing I agree on
what a beautiful and encouraging message...in deep truth and trust, and stating that there's no real limit to us, that's such a hopeful message that many don't hear. thank you JP
believe it or not, you can actually trust evil... you can trust evil to lie.. don't trust evil to tell the truth, that is preposterous.

Real question... How do you learn to trust
Trust in Jesus alone! It's He, me & l. 🤷♀️
Nobody......... only family members
Does anything here apply when narcs betray you ...family betrays you for sociopaths..then the world betrays the people for greed...that’s a card that’s challenging me.
You cant stop the conscience mayby try watch it
How’s I found out with suffering and sufficient, you are stronger than you think😀☝️😍.
Only Jesus Christ Amen
Who can you trust?
No one
NEFARIOUS PEOPLE never change, empathy doesn't work on them.
I am pesimistic about humatity because the government do not have my best interest, so i feel like eighter i agree or suffer consequence and yes i do feel pesimistic i feel actually like gow can i say i have rights if my rights can be taken away depending how the laws change and some things are in my detriment wich i cant do nothing about it.
