YEAH IKR aside from KikuoWorld 3 Pino Polaris is SO GOOD,they go from the same album with Kara Kara too!Just goes to sure KikuoMiku 5 is such a masterpiece of an album
As someone who has Alexithymia, I do indeed feel like this song describes the times when that emptiness is there, just unable to feel something. The part when Kikuo goes crazy on the soundboard really does feel like the times when I am unable to tell what the hell I'm feeling and it really does just make you feel like you want to explode. I really, really like how Kikuo has represented those things.
gotta love having alexithymia! Here's how I would describe it: Let's say you have a bunch of different kinds of apples and these apples are emotions. Most people can take a bite of an apple and say 'this apple is sweet/crunchy/bitter' or any other description and can tell how one apple tastes different to another. People with alexithymia like me might be able to tell the difference between a very sweet and very bitter apple, but not the apples with smaller differences (like one that's a bit more crunchy than another) and perceive many of the apples as being exactly the same
Just a little tidbit of information, but Alexithymia is very, very commonly found in people with Autism, with about half of Autistic people having the disorder. I'm Autistic, and I think it may be possible that I have Alexithymia, though I haven't been diagnosed and it's no where near as severe as what you read about in the video. If I were to describe it, it's more like not being able to pinpoint your emotions rather than not feeling them. At least for me. I kinda categorize emotions into two broad categories: happy/calm/nuetral and upset. Basically, positive or negative. When I'm feeling upset, I have a hard time straining out the actual individual emotions I feel, it all kinda just turns into a soup of overwhelming negative emotions. That's what causes meltdowns for me a lot. But just because I can't understand my own emotions very well, doesn't mean I can't. It just takes a lot of introspection and looking back on events to figure out what I was feeling exactly at the time. If you ask me to figure it out in the moment, I'd tell you that everything happens too suddenly to tell. Hence the positive versus negative thing. People often seem to portray Autistic people as having little to no emotion or empathy, and I say that couldn't be further from the case. Just because we don't understand ourselves or others very well, doesn't mean we don't feel or care. We just don't know how to express it. Of course, every person with Autism presents their disorder (and the common disorders that go hand in hand with it they may have) differently, and this is not an accurate take on everyone's experience, only mine. Anyways, I don't think it's usually emptiness that is felt with Alexithymia, but a mixture of confusing emotions that can get overwhelming at times. Being taught the words to describe my feelings really helped me to understand them better. Sometimes, if you don't have the words, you need to learn them and drill them into your head. I hope this helps give some insight into the video~!
I always found hard to describe emotions even with the terms like happy and angry. The usual emotions like happy and sad are easy to notice but more conplex and mixed emotions are harder and idk how to explain what i personally feel. Another thing is that i been thinking i migh be neurodivergent so yeah
as someone who probably has autism i literally look at the definitioning that shooshi was reading and i was like "That seems familiar.. 🤨" and then i saw your comment LMAO
As someone else with Autism, I'm so glad to see this comment. My emotions can be very intense and I can have mood swings but other times I have emotions that are so complex I don't have a word for them. I just categorize them into negative, positive, neutral or a mix. I love the song because I can relate to it in a way. My partner has ADHD and can also relate to the song in some ways. The song is honestly very relatable to different people in different ways. The one thing we all have in common is struggles with emotions.
Kikuo really is a master at making you think, one of my favorite songs of them is "Hikari Yo" which has 2 incredible versions, but i do recommend the hanatan one, and the video is art by itself
I really like this goofy aah song it’s good to listen to laying down and kinda just relax or calm down even though it’s chaotic. For some reason listening to chaotic music is very calming
Same but my headphones were broken so I had my phone speaker up to my ear on lowest level like a weird person (I am a weirdo but being on the bus is so boring because I was the last stop)
This has got to be my favorite Kikuo song (next to Hitogawari) and I fucking love the instrumental, the chaos of the song in general, idk how to express it, I just love it! I'm glad you liked it
Bwah. What a singular condition. And what a way to represent it. Even though it must be hard to endure it I can't help this song being one of my favorites... I think the song is really well done and I can understand a little part of it since I have trouble with my emotions(not to the extent of feeling unreal tho). Anyways. Once again. Kikuo's a God
i’d like to say, Kara sound like Cara, which is the Spanish world for Face! this is my little add on, it may, most definitely, may have it’s own meaning, but yeah xD
Soooo happy this has been added to the reaction/analysis videos! Kara kara kara is an underrated song imo because it's also accurate to a manic breakdown (or at least, my manic breakdowns). Your head is noisy and you have so many thoughts and feel euphoric, but you don't actually feel happy. Once your manic phase is over, you either feel depressed or, as the song states, empty
@@Creatorsan I'm not entirely sure if it's called a manic breakdown officially, but that's just what I call it. So for me, I get a ton of ideas and a lot of energy that lasts a couple days or a few weeks, but this usually causes me to get overstimulated, lose sleep because I'm too busy thinking about random stuff, and trip up on my words when speaking sometimes. I call it a manic breakdown because, at its peak, I start getting intrusive thoughts instead of a euphoric feeling, but I still have a lot of energy and it doesn't really stop until time passes
if you want to check out more vocaloid artists who have the same kind of style as kikuo, you reaally should listen to some of babuchan’s stuff ! ”0 peoples waltz”, ”balloooon syndrome” and ”13 stairs” are insanely facinating !
yippee new video also you should listen to reckless battery burns!! its a great song and something surprising about the song is how an AI generated the lyrics it matches up well with the other songs pretty well!
Shooshi, I just want to tell you that even if your channel is somewhat still small, youre the only guy I genuinely enjoy watching out of all that I subscribed.
Honestly this song just feels like anxiety plus adhd combined. Constant changing sounds along with the chaos just feels like going through so many worrying thoughts at once. The fact that the song is super long makes me think about how my anxiety never leaves me, no matter how long i think it’s gone. Fun fact when i first listened to this song years ago it inspired me to draw characters called “the manics” which were meant to represent when i became hyper focused on something whether it being negative or positive. (Before i knew why adhd and hyper-fixation was lmaoooo)
YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO MAWARU IF YOU HAVENT. its a interesting and kinda unique sounding song and it’s so addicting to listen to imo but kikuo was probably on something when he made it
I mean Kikuo is on a league of their own, however, overall songs that are really experimental like this one is the reason I have never grown out of listening vocaloids. The way of expressing emotions and different meanings are so unique and genius. Like you never know what you're gonna get with many vocaloid producers when you press play on a song. And even though it can lead to small awkward moments, the way many vocaloid songs (not exclusive to vocaloids ofc) sound so happy and upbeat but have dark, sad or overall deeper meanings is just something I've grown to love. Some days I'm feeling horrible and just start listening Kaito's "I wish they all just died", Kikuo's "Corpse Dance" or Neru's "Lost One's Weeping" and it honestly does help to feel little less sad and alone. And many times these songs have brought up conditions or situations people have that I most likely would not know about without these songs. Overall I just love Vocaloids and I really love Kikuo!
Ik the comment section probs isnt the BEST place to put a req for a reaction, but there's an AMAZING vocaloid song (featuring flower :) ) by the artist guchiry The song is called Abnormality Dancin Girl, and i have my partial theories abt the song but i'd like to know your analysis. Btw, i think Abudan (thats the shortened name) is probably Guchiry's most popular work or at least second most popular. You'll know it when you see it. The song is hella catchy and you will be blown away (im hoping) it's really good
if you want a song that’s the right amount of bangin and disturbing you gotta listen to “the iron maiden and the dreaming princess” by douwaP, it’s based on elizabeth báthory who was a hungarian noblewoman and alleged serial killer. she’s known as “the blood countess” due to the rumors that she bathed in the blood of virgins to stay young. not only is the song super catchy with an interesting premise but the entire music video is drawn in a ds flipnote style which is just impressive in itself. i don’t see it talked about all that much in the english vocaloid community but i think it definitely deserves more recognition. there’s not much to really be deciphered lore/lyric wise but it’s a great song regardless
Honestly this video perfectly sums up how my thought process when I listen to a Kikuo song for the first time. My first impression of the song is almost always "Wtf is this? This is easily his worst song yet." But by the time I get a minute or so into the song, my sentiment is always "Wtf is this? This is easily his best song yet!" Idk why I keep doubting him, man, there's no reason to, he ALWAYS delivers
This song is what my mental health is like since Middle School and until now...(When Maladaptive Daydreaming was introduced.) Autistic/ADHD, holding in my emotions has led me to panic attacks, meltdowns, and the chaotic-ness reminds me of someone's body trembling from over-stimulation/Anxiety. It can leave my heart thumping, racing as I am literally slipping into a dissociation stupor (forgetting to blink sometimes, I'll do this maladaptive daydreaming to VOCALOID songs especially.) Sometimes with Autism/ADHD. I like that you mentioned Alexthymia as I was typing this, because people with Autism struggle with Alexthymia, I have it. It's weird, I feel emotions, I can't explain or put a finger on it. This song has an even more special place in my heart. I am so happy I came across this video, thank you so much for the wonderful reaction and Analysis. I love when songs talk about mental health, and the huge Boom of people finding out they are Autistic /ADHD or BOTH lately, is also very fitting. Likewise, I also have Bi-Polar, which makes reading emotions three times as hard, Add ADHD Dysregulation of emotion, and the shifting Emotions of Bi-polar mixed with Alexithymia, you have basically this song. I can also throw in C-PTSD, which I have due to family yelling at me, not understanding why "I never listen... or hated being yelled at or threatened." Whooped as a kid, and such, I also hated doing dishes due to the feeling, texture, not having gloves and not processing my next steps to take things which lead me to the title of being the lazy kid. This song is so relatable, man...
I remember hearing this song when Kikuo performed live in 2019. He made the final beat drop last even longer (maybe in the minutes even) and it was absolutely amazing! The whole crowd was waiting for that inevitable beat drop and when it eventually happened everyone started jumping. Honestly a core memory for me
this one is actually the seed for my "study" playlist all of the songs and music in there are somewhat in the same genre, it really helps when you have a problem to stay sitting down and doing something productive since it's basically like a fidget toy for your brain
my first time listening to me it felt EXACTLY how i feel depression. just inability to do anything, even sleep, and the mess, nothing working together and everything being way too much.
I don't know if you've already listened to his stuff, but if you haven't, I'd like to recommend Utsu-P! He's one of my absolute favorite producers. His songs are all very metal, and the lyrics of his songs are known for being very complex to translate and/or unclear in exact meaning. For specific songs, I'd recommend An Alien's "I Love You" and Not Photogenic as good, easier to digest starting points lyric-wise, and also good introductions to his sound. But some I'll recommend that are a bit less clear in meaning are OGRE (also a pretty good starting point, helps ease you into the metal sound a bit if you aren't someone who listens to metal), ATARI FRONT PROGRAM, Unique Parade, and Death of the Law. (Unique Parade and ATARI FRONT PROGRAM are two of my personal favorites.)
as someone whos been listening to kikuo since i was7 it makes me happy to see someone having the exact same reaction that have every time that i listen to his music
I'm really happy that you did a video on this song, I requested it a while ago, and I know I'm really late to this video, but it makes me really happy. This is one of my comfort songs. And I'd like to give my thoughts on this. I didn't really know this song was related to alexithymia. The translation I saw was different, and people were saying that the bells meant hobbies, and this was about depression. This new definition makes me feel more connected to the song. I have BPD, which alexithymia is a symptom of. That, along with my black and white thinking, I can only assort my emotions into positive and negative. I know the difference between anger, sadness, happiness, scared, and embarrassment. But it feels like those are the only emotions I feel. Or at least they're the only ones I can pinpoint. The rest feels unknown. Before being on meds, I would also have periods where I feel numb, but my body feels sad. I still get them sometimes, but they're not as common. A lot of times, when I have negative emotions, they feel so intense that it gives me headaches, but it doesn't feel that intense to me. Like I'll be upset about something, but it feels mild to me, but to my body, it's so extreme that it physically hurts. I also can't really control my laughing and smiling, I can't even tell when I'm smiling. Sometimes, someone will be angry, and I just start smiling out of nowhere for no reason. One time, my mom told me my sister had scoliosis, and I laughed. I don't know why I laughed. Maybe I thought that word was funny? I had to come up with an excuse on why I laughed, but it was really bad.
I think this comment alone just helped me realize I (may) have bpd, my emotions are always all over the place, and with the laughing part, that happens a lot and I laugh at things that aren’t things that you should laugh at, people always point that out. It’s not that I actually find the situation funny, it’s a uncontrollable instinct. Deep down I’m miserable, I’m laughing and seem like I’m okay, I’m probably crying one minute, and then I feel absolutely emotionless.
If you want my fav kikuo song please listen to Voices of Svaahaa!! its really amazing and long, its actually the first song they upload after the hiatus i highly recommend it

Some more songs by R.I.P are Corrosion (Fukase),The Monochrome Mentality (flower, MAIKA, and GUMI), and Pyrite Girl (Rin). Hope you see this ^^
One of my favorite Kikuo songs! Thank you for covering this song in particular, it indeed is a work of art. I love how I have almost all of your videos watched by now, and I also discovered a lot of other artists other than Kikuo and MARETU thanks to you - your way of creating these reaction videos just feel fresh for me, and I can't pinpoint exactly why; in fact, I'm not the type of person to watch reaction videos because I've always found it a waste of time but you're a massive exception. I will always be on the lookout for your future videos! By the way, if no one has submitted this suggestion yet, may I ask if you are able to react to mushi-P's music in the future? He's pretty underrated and he has made a lot of bops too, considering he's a jazz fusion artist, lol. The song 犯しの家 "Okashi no Ie" is what I have in mind for you to listen to. BUT, heads-up! It's very disturbing and definitely much worse than songs like Gomenne Gomenne in terms of lyrics and message.
some of the music or all the musics he make are like very emotional if ya hear them for 2nd time , yet is pretty banger to hear his moosics (we dont talk about gomene , it still pretty chaotic and uncomfy to know the lore "only for me" feels rare and I see alot of rare stuff)
if this song is really based on Alexithymia, it's also similar to Autism. 1 in 5 autistic people have alexithymia. People who have alexithymia may have have trouble identifying, understanding and describing emotions. They may also struggle to show or feel emotions that are seen as socially appropriate, such as happiness on a joyous occasion. some symptomps in AUTISM are similar to Alexithymia thus this representation is beautiful
You could react to our other god of this channel! Miyashita yuu!! This cover in particular: Religion of loneliness by Syudou (the same producer of Bitter Choco Decoration and Usseewa) The cover of Miyashita is amazing as always, the music is catchy and the story behind it is super interesting. There’s a person in the comments that made a theory. Sorry if it was a lot of information!😅 Keep the work Shooshi!! 💕
I think you would really like Deco*27's Milgram Project series. It's an interactive mystery series where the main character, Es, is a prison warden that investigates 10 prisoners that all killed someone. Through music videos created from the prisoner's memories, Es can piece together the truth of their sins. The fans of the series can vote in 3 different trials for each prisoner to decide whether they should be forgiven or not, which will drastically affect the ending they will get at the last trial. So far, the series is only on Season 2, so no third trial has happened yet, but there's plenty of content to watch if you want to react to it. There are voice dramas that take place before the music video that showcases the prisoners' interrogation, and then you can watch their music video after. There are playlists already made on UA-cam for you to watch in the right order if you want to react to it. I hope you'll enjoy it if you do! :D

gotta love having alexithymia! Here's how I would describe it: Let's say you have a bunch of different kinds of apples and these apples are emotions. Most people can take a bite of an apple and say 'this apple is sweet/crunchy/bitter' or any other description and can tell how one apple tastes different to another. People with alexithymia like me might be able to tell the difference between a very sweet and very bitter apple, but not the apples with smaller differences (like one that's a bit more crunchy than another) and perceive many of the apples as being exactly the same
so true

Just a little tidbit of information, but Alexithymia is very, very commonly found in people with Autism, with about half of Autistic people having the disorder. I'm Autistic, and I think it may be possible that I have Alexithymia, though I haven't been diagnosed and it's no where near as severe as what you read about in the video.
If I were to describe it, it's more like not being able to pinpoint your emotions rather than not feeling them. At least for me. When I'm feeling upset, I have a hard time straining out the actual individual emotions I feel, it all kinda just turns into a soup of overwhelming negative emotions. That's what causes meltdowns for me a lot.

Bruh what when were people gonna tell me that was a thing D:>>> that makes so much sense wtf

Shooshi has reacted to the hanatan version but I agree it is incredible!

I really like this goofy aah song it’s good to listen to laying down and kinda just relax or calm down even though it’s chaotic. For some reason listening to chaotic music is very calming
I still remember the first time I heard this song. I was on the bus and trying so hard not to jam tf out
This song is stim central
Same but my headphones were broken so I had my phone speaker up to my ear on lowest level like a weird person (I am a weirdo but being on the bus is so boring because I was the last stop)
Have you ever reacted to Kikuo's "Cotton Candy"???? 👀
It turns my stomach upside down and makes me shit bricks. It's so fucking good.
Real!
This song is like a mash of Looney Tunes sound effects with some classic kikuo lyrics
This has got to be my favorite Kikuo song (next to Hitogawari) and I fucking love the instrumental, the chaos of the song in general, idk how to express it, I just love it! I'm glad you liked it
Weird but I think he should totally react to sight, noise, life and the earth. The song is 38 minutes long by Kikuo 💀

kikuo has a special place in my heart
Bwah. What a singular condition. And what a way to represent it. Even though it must be hard to endure it I can't help this song being one of my favorites...
I think the song is really well done and I can understand a little part of it
since I have trouble with my emotions(not to the extent of feeling unreal tho). Anyways.
Once again. Kikuo's a God

i’d like to say, Kara sound like Cara, which is the Spanish world for Face! this is my little add on, it may, most definitely, may have it’s own meaning, but yeah xD
awh
Soooo happy this has been added to the reaction/analysis videos! Kara kara kara is an underrated song imo because it's also accurate to a manic breakdown (or at least, my manic breakdowns). Your head is noisy and you have so many thoughts and feel euphoric, but you don't actually feel happy. Once your manic phase is over, you either feel depressed or, as the song states, empty
Agreed, that's why it's such a good breakdown song
What is a manic breakdown? I've only experienced panic attacks so I can't relate to the song like you can.
My manic episodes are also like Menheramen by Pepoyo. The mix of bright pure energy with pure paranoia
people say feeling disturbed but I only find comfort in those songs in fact it lulls me to sleep
OMG I LOVE THIS SONG I HAVE IT ON MY SPOTIFY

if you want to check out more vocaloid artists who have the same kind of style as kikuo, you reaally should listen to some of babuchan’s stuff ! ”0 peoples waltz”, ”balloooon syndrome” and ”13 stairs” are insanely facinating !

FINALLY I LOVE THIS SONG
The goat returns with another banger reaction with banger edits
Ik the comment section probs isnt the BEST place to put a req for a reaction, but there's an AMAZING vocaloid song (featuring flower :) ) by the artist guchiry
The song is called Abnormality Dancin Girl, and i have my partial theories abt the song but i'd like to know your analysis. Btw, i think Abudan (thats the shortened name) is probably Guchiry's most popular work or at least second most popular. You'll know it when you see it.
The song is hella catchy and you will be blown away (im hoping) it's really good
AYY YOU KNOW THAT SONG?
@@StrawberryDiseases FUCK YES I DO
@@dori6326 🤯ITS RARE TO SEE SOMEBODY KNOW THIS SONG
Kikuo is so amazing that he can make every sound in existence sound good
if you want a song that’s the right amount of bangin and disturbing you gotta listen to “the iron maiden and the dreaming princess” by douwaP, it’s based on elizabeth báthory who was a hungarian noblewoman and alleged serial killer. she’s known as “the blood countess” due to the rumors that she bathed in the blood of virgins to stay young. not only is the song super catchy with an interesting premise but the entire music video is drawn in a ds flipnote style which is just impressive in itself. i don’t see it talked about all that much in the english vocaloid community but i think it definitely deserves more recognition. there’s not much to really be deciphered lore/lyric wise but it’s a great song regardless
The comments were literally "Who Tf gave Kikuo a soundboard" or "i paid for the whole soundboard, i'm going to use the whole soundboard" 💀
i love this song, i'm glad you reacted to it. ^^
THE LAST BEAT DROP WITH THE LONG SCREAM OMGGG
Honestly this video perfectly sums up how my thought process when I listen to a Kikuo song for the first time.
My first impression of the song is almost always "Wtf is this? This is easily his worst song yet."
But by the time I get a minute or so into the song, my sentiment is always "Wtf is this? This is easily his best song yet!"
Idk why I keep doubting him, man, there's no reason to, he ALWAYS delivers
I'm a vocaloid fan,, even more big fan of kikuo and song okaasan cause of the dark meaning and guess what. I go to therapy. I wonder what that means?
Us vocaloid fans are mentally unstable
This song is what my mental health is like since Middle School and until now...(When Maladaptive Daydreaming was introduced.)
Autistic/ADHD, holding in my emotions has led me to panic attacks, meltdowns, and the chaotic-ness reminds me of someone's body trembling from over-stimulation/Anxiety.
Kikuo is so good at making everyone who listens to his songs slowly go more and more insane
Aw man karakarakara no kara is such a good song I'm glad more ppl know about it now
I remember hearing this song when Kikuo performed live in 2019.
Ooh cool! would it be okay if you shared your "study" playlist?
OMG MY FAVORITE SONG YESSSS
6:46 there’s no way bro starts looking around like someone is about to have the answer for him IM CRYING 😭😭
my first time listening to me it felt EXACTLY how i feel depression. just inability to do anything, even sleep, and the mess, nothing working together and everything being way too much.
why do i feel like he's right about the therapy thing-
Because he is
I don't know if you've already listened to his stuff, but if you haven't, I'd like to recommend Utsu-P!
Strong vibes on this video
The strongest
as someone whos been listening to kikuo since i was7 it makes me happy to see someone having the exact same reaction that have every time that i listen to his music
"It is scientifically proven if you're a vocaloid fan you go to therapy, and if you don't, you need to."
This is no lie lmfao

You should listen to You're an Awful Person by R.I.P.! It's a super good song. In fact, R.I.P's style is really similar to GHOST's, so I think you'd like it.
Can you listen to Shoujo Rei/ Ghost Girl? It has a very dark meaning but it sounds so soothing and calm. It’s my favorite song.
I recommend another Kikuo song that I personally like which is mawaru, voices of svaahaa and dwarf star fireworks
if this song is really based on Alexithymia, it's also similar to Autism.
