    My Neptune Blue GR86 is supposed to arrive at the dealers next week!I can't wait!

    I only see a front sway bar (not rear) in the description of the ND, that would explain the understeer...

    Miata will cost a lot in mods to make it perform like the 86 (I priced it out) but it does have more adjustability. The GR86 is one of the best (top 5) drivers cars on the market today regardless of price. Want to own one someday.

    It seems like the Miata is more reliable long term, if you fit in the driver seat area and your passenger fits in the even smaller seat area for them, also less luggage space and needing at least a carport roof to preserve the soft convertible top. For the street, the lack of side mirror blind spot monitoring for the BRZ/86 might be a deal breaker for some.

      This dude said blind spot monitoring 😂 just turn your head 💀

    Surprising amount of understeer on that Miata, especially later in your session where it just seems to plow everywhere. Would like to see how it does with a more aggressive alignment on the front and better tires. Also agree on how transformative a cheap set of camber bolts are for the balance of the BRZ2, loving mine so far!

    Jubbal, please do a comparo of the 86 vs the Camaro SS 1LE. Another RWD drivers car, just heavier and more powah.

    was the alignment on the GR86 based on tire temperature or just feel?

    You can’t warp a rotor from excessive heat. Most likely you haven’t bedded the pads correctly, that’s what usually causes the vibration that people associate with warping.

    • @jubbalandcars
      @jubbalandcars  9 місяців тому +1

      I’ve heard this argument before. The issue I have with it is that if it was bedding issues, then rebedding should improve the problem which it doesn’t.

    • @zacharyparis
      @zacharyparis 8 місяців тому

      @@jubbalandcarsyou have to clean the surface of the rotor completely before you rebed the pads. Can’t just bed again on top of existing pad material that has already been transferred. Otherwise cast iron can withstand thousands of degrees before deforming which is hotter than you can get your brakes on a track. Also if heat deformed brake rotors then literally everyone who tracked their car would have warped rotors.

    Hi. Just got a BRZ 23', I am looking to keep it fairly stock like you. Howd you get -1.3 rear camber? Is that stock? Thanks!

    Sorry to ask again but any issue yet with rtv especially after track days?
