I MISSED NUMBER 32. Cerulean Seed +1 (+30% flask heal). +12 flask heals a 38 mind character from 0 to max. You'll only benefit off using it at around 45-50 mind so it's pretty niche. Also now that I'm looking at it. Relanna's Cameo and bow talismans should be higher. It's hard to rank these as they all have a use
Plus get that parry tear from the first furnace golem, you can 100% block, reduced stamina drain and boosted guard counter. Completely trivialize shield build, superb damage and a lot of freedom build for 2 handed weapons! This should be a feature for the next game not a buff for 5 minute.
Well at least there are Some Talismans that are very good and surely will come handy at RL1, like the Crismson Medallion + 3 which gives you 200 HP. You might think is low but when you have 400 HP is night and day and makes significantly harder to get one-shotted, on the base Game at the very least.
The thing about the blessed blue talisman is that it is perfect for exploring/dungeons. Being able to always apply bestial vitality and use my weapon AOW without sacrificing any healing flasks is perfect. Must run talisman for exploring imo
I feel like is not that worth using anyways, with Dungeon exploration, i feel like just using sacrificial axe for 3 FP per enemy killed is enought, not bad, but i rather have that weapon off hand and use that talisman slot for something else
@@jajasking9652 its more of for the QOL, its nice to not have to think about mana management when exploring. Plus when you use things like Radahns Rain which is like 30+ FP, that would require killing at least 10 enemies to get that back. Sacrificial axe is very valid but just not my preferred option, plus you can always unequip the talisman when your FP regenerates and put on whatever you want until you need it again.
@@MagicChef. Yeah, that's true, you could always use both of them, Imagine if It was 1 FP per second, It would be op, because you would be able to spam equip/unequip for ridiculous FP regen
You two are spot on. I equip talisman while general exploring and swap to the sacrificial axe as well in off hand when I am not using incantations to build back up even more fp. Feels nice to not need to keep an eye on FP consumption too much.
Blessed Blue Talisman isn't very good for bosses but it's very good for general exploration, you essentially have infinite FP while exploring and can constantly cast HP regen spells.
Agreed 100%. Combine it with Bestial Vitality and going through Legacy Dungeons is much more forgiving when it comes to your flask use. As long as you don't actually die, you should be able to go through most if not all of it without having to rest, which is super nice.
@@discipleofdeath2517 That probably works better, but I only got 16 Faith (for Rellana'a Twinblades) since I am an Int/Quality build . Thankfully Dark Moon Greatsword is super FP efficient.

Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future.
Tip for blade of mercy: a two-handed colossal hammer with cragblade and deflect tear can deal 60+ stance damage on guard counters following successful deflects, which means you can stance break bosses with 120 stance with just two guard counters. This includes the DLC final boss. Lets you keep blade of mercy buff for basically entirety of the fight.
Even better, it will boost your damage after the first hit of the critical attack if you are using a colossal weapons (not sure if colossal sword is included). This means your second hit will get a 20% damage boost. So, you basically get a free Dagger Talisman. Obviously a bug tho.
Also found out that Bloodfiend's Arm and Devonia's Hammer seem to both have hidden 10% stance damage boost for guard counters, even without any buffs active. Giant-Crusher and Prelate's Inferno Hammer deal 45 stance damage on two-handed guard counter, while Bloodfiend and Devonia deal 49.5. I used a tool on PC to check the precise stance damage.
Something you missed, the Shattered Stone Talisman actually boosts any attack that looks like a kick, not just skills. And given the martial arts jumping heavy attack is two kicks, you can add it to a jump attack build for some pretty nutty results.
Shattered stone + Divine Bird Greaves + Gravebird’s Black Feathers + Claw Talisman + Milicent Prosthesis + Winged Sword You can get some truly comedic buffs for spamming jump heavies with dryleaf arts
You already rated it very highly, but I think the Crimson Seed +1 is just so good it could contend for the top spot. The important metric for survivability is how many hits you can take before dying, and the Crimson Seed makes a big difference when you're trying to squeeze in a heal during a boss fight. The bonus healing is significant enough to push you over breakpoints to survive one more hit or use one fewer flask to survive the same number of hits in a lot of scenarios, especially when combined with damage reduction Talismans like the staple Dragoncrest Greatshield. Only needing to chug one flask vs 2 can be the difference between getting to heal safely vs getting caught in the loop of healing and immediately getting hit in the long recovery time, and while it isn't useful for the god gamers who never get hit, it's a godsend for the rest of us mere mortals.
For the first talisman, the Ailment Talisman, you can actually remove the talisman after proccing the effect and it'll stay even with it unequipped. Also the duration is different for each status, poison/scarlet rot being the longest i think 1-2 minutes, then bleed/frostbite being slightly less than 1 minute, and sleep/madness being 30 seconds. You can also equip it while you are poisoned, get the effect, then instantly unequip it to get all the benefit, and maybe even swap to another resistance talisman and have a possible 500+ resistance to 1 status.
I know the smithscript stuff isnt mindblowing damage, but the smitscript daggers actually do really well on sacred or flame art infusions as they have the same quirk as the erdsteel dagger where their phys damage will also scale off of faith, combine that with scattershot and the 2 multi hit talismans and you can get some good consistent damage at a safe range.
Smithing talisman too for 10% extra damage on throwing attacks (literally all of them so it's just a flat boost). You can also pair with the claw talisman and use only jumping attacks for another 15% on top of that, or shard of Alex for scattershot spam. Godskin Swaddling Cloth is great for sustain too. I think they're quite underrated tbh. Go great on arcane builds too for ranged status buildup
FP regen talisman is very underrated. It is the single most useful talisman in legacy dungeons/ optional dungeons since you can basically have infinite source of heal if you have some faith investment. Let's be real, most people entering dlc going to have 25 faith for the most op buff in the game Golden Vow, and 25 faith + heal from a far net you 600~ hp for 45 fp cost. It means you basically heal back 600 hp every 90 seconds. It is far more efficient than the useless hp regen talisman which takes 300 seconds for the same amount of hp regain. Be it you're caster or not this it's one of the most useful talisman in any legacy dungeon. In fact it benefit none caster / low mind characters even more.
The FP regen talisman is great for health regen. Use blessing of the erdtree for 18 hp/second and you get the FP back before the spell runs out. You can also you heal spells and make your red flasks last so much longer.
After a quick look at the wiki, according to comments you can proc Dried Bouquet multiple times with skeletal spirit summons. They will give you the damage boost when they fall rather than when they are fully finished off. Skeletal militiamen are already a sleeper good summon for their ability to give you guaranteed points of respite throughout an entire fight (rather than just at the start), so this talisman probably could be ranked even higher.
The rats are another good pick. You get a lot of them, they're individually surprisingly tanky, so they're likely to die over the course of a fight, and most importantly, they don't cost any FP, so they are super easy to fit into any other buff cycles, and have no impact on your FP requirements, flasks, ect. Also, they have a bug that works in their favor in this case. They, along with the Putrid Corpses and Squirts, don't spawn next to you, they spawn at the summon post for some reason. The rats are even more likely to last throughout a fight, because they usually tend to not just all immediately rush the boss, they trickle in one or two at a time, unless the fight goes directly there.
@@Broomtwo Ah I already knew about dual-wielding its just...do bows count as two-handed weapons for this purpose. Because if its loose enough, the Two-handed talisman might become a god-tier archery boon.

17:37 was really great Youwy. "The best ability in this game is survivability. As long as you're alive, there's a chance. And if you think you don't have a chance of winning, as long as you're still fighting, you're learning as well." I'm just a casual ER enjoyer but even I know that this isn't just wise gaming advice, this is good general life advice, too. Being here since Youwy was a small new creator, I can say it is not a coincidence Youwy has grown so much, this mentality will take you far. Good luck everyone!
The fp regen talisman is pretty solid when just exploring or dungeon crawling, where you might throw out a few spells then don’t cast for a bit, that regen during no combat saves you a flask in the long term
Blessed Blue Dew Talisman has been one of my favorites so far. I started the DLC at NG+7 and being able to regen FP while exploring and using healing spells makes me feel less inclined to just fast track my way to the next site of grace asap.
Hey @youwy not sure if you noticed but the start of the Pearl Shield Talisman (10:27) your audio is cut off for several seconds. Love the vids, keep it up!
I think the talismans that makes you take x-% amount of damage are tailored for the Shadow Lands cuz we get the Scadutree Fragments. The amount of damage reduction they give is so much that it feels ok to have a % damage take increase.
Nah the dmg reduction they give is to encourage people to explore, as the final bosses expect you to have high dmg reduction. If you go in with 10% dmg reduction in fucking robes then you will be one shot by every single attack.
I find the Arrow Soaring Sting Talisman very funny because it's required to make the Throwing knives anywhere close to good. Combining it with Arrow Sting, Smith Talisman, and Shard of Alexander sees the knives actually do reasonable damage with the Weapon art at point blank. They're garbage most of the time. On my Dex Faith Build sitting at 22 str/60 dex/11 int/27 fai they hit around 221-250 on light attacks, but anywhere from 800-1400 on the scattershot throw weapon art (varies depending on what damage boxes the knives connect with) at point blank range. Allegedly the Arrow Sting and Soaring Sting work on the Ash of War, but I will need to do more testing. If they don't work on Scattershot (if anyone else can confirm) then it'll free up a couple talisman slots lol. Can also confirm that the Smith Talisman does NOT include the thrown Lightning projectile on the Bolt of Gransax.
@@derekisludicrous9203 I'll add Messmer's Spear to the list I'm testing later on my Dex Faith build. I'm assuming it'll work, given that the range and damage buffs from arrow stings apply to the throwing knives. Edit: Yes, Messmer's spear's throw is affected by both the Smith Talisman and the Arrow Talismans
you can chain cast Blessing’s Boon with it and have constant regen going for you and your friends. The incantation costs 30 fp and lasts 90 seconds, you only need 60 seconds to regen the FP back. GOATed exploration talisman
I kinda wish the DLC gave us a 5th talisman slot not just cause of how many new talismans there are but also cause it'd look better in the character menu
My favorite creator from Elden Ring great videos i like to do this type of tests with various things in the game, i see what you think about a given item i found and i leave the ones i didn't get for later
Beastman curved sword is even more amazing now. It gets the highest status buildup on its two handed jumping attacks by 150% of its status. Any other good weapons to use jump attacks two handed?
@@spongbobsquarepants3922 Giant crusher has an AR of 2000 in the dlc buffed, so you get plus 30% jump attack dmg with two hand talisman and claw talisman.
I've encountered very high quality videos on this channel about DLC items. Good analysis and recommendations. This channel deserves to have more subscribers, high views, for few days after DLC released, show this.
it definitely does not trilivise the Bayle fight. Even with 80% dmg mitigation and 60 vigour he can still 3 shot you. What trilivises Bayle is the NPC summon (which unlike othher summons, does NOT increase Bayles hp) and a mimic with something good to hold aggro. That way you are never targeted and are free to hit the bosses legs.
Youwy: I am only about (hard to gauge) maybe 20% through the dlc. But stoner I am I often need the talisman effects translated into “layman’s terms” and so I took a chance on your video despite being fearful of spoilers. Thank you for being true to your spoiler-free tag, unlike many content creators out there. Cheers homie. Appreciate your efforts per always.
I have heard that the ailment talisman duration is based on which status effect you are hit with. The poison resist effect lasts much longer than 30 seconds, and the amount of resist stat it gives you is much higher than the individual resist talismans.
Beloved stardust is actually really cool, because now for one talisman slot, you can run str/int with no dex and not be gimped by casting speed. Having like 12 dex is no longer a death sentence 😂
Or you know, Fromsoft could stop this stupid idea that dexterity makes you CAST SPELLS faster and tie it to mind, as it was in DS2, making it all make sense?
I believe the skill damage boost from Alexander's talisman deals the same bonus damage as rellana's cameo, meaning there is literally no reason to use it unless you are using both. Alexander's also doesn't force you to stand there like an idiot for a few seconds and works on every skill instead of like 10.
25% dmg taken seems bad until you use it in the DLC. If you already have an innate 60% damage resistance, atleast in my experience, with the talisman on, it doesn't subtract 25 off of 60, which would give you 35% resistance. It scales multiplicativly, which means that NO, it does not reduce your resistance that much. For me, when I put it on with about 58% damage resistance, It only drops it back to 46%. Very valid if you don't want to put 30 levels into dex just to spell cast. If you are a strength/faith or strength/int and have no dexterity, it is incredibly useful. Plus, in the DLC, no matter your resistance, you are one or two hit anyways
Squeezing out every bit of defense is even more important in the DLC, because enemies deal insane damage. That means you reduce larger numbers of damage
25% is still 25%. If a boss would do 100dmg to you after all mitigation, with that talisman it would do 125 instead. Whether that's 58% changing to 46% doesn't matter, a 25% boost is still a 25% boost. You can justify it as "oh its not that bad its only a few % different on my character stat sheet", but 25% is large enough to make bosses 2 shot you instead of being able to tank the 2nd hit. With decent mitigation (you can get 80%) you can reasonably tank 4-5 hits. So going from surviving a 5 hit combo, to dying to 2 hits, is a massive difference when most bosses have 5 hit combos.
Nope. At scadutree level 11 with boiled crab, bosses like Divine Beast Dancing Lion and Rellana needs more than 5 hits to kill me which is typical for a Soulsborne boss. Your scadutree level aka your damage negation/resistance makes a huge difference. If you're still somehow getting 1 or 2 hit from an enemy or boss then you're doing something wrong.
Quirk with Blade of Mercy: The Talisman gives you the AR boost after the final hit of a weapon's usual critical hit, but if a weapon has a special aux effect (e.g. Bloodfiend's Arm), then the talisman will count to two hits, and it will count the mogblood aux effect as a critical hit. This means that the second hit of a stance break riposte with this talisman could be boosted by the effect without it already ticking.
Everyday usually. Starting from ~9hrs from now and I stream for ~6hrs. I am going to take off next stream because between that and daily uploads I've developed some throat soreness. Too much yapping
Something to mention about the blade of mercy is that it can actually trigger within the critical animation and increase the damage of the crit itself. Many of the critical animations have two hits, the first doing lower damage and the second doing the brunt of the damage. The talisman triggers on the first hit, meaning the main hit of the riposte will have increased damage.
in terms if usefulness is have to say that #1 is crimson seed +1 and 2 handed… i have found myself constantly swapping talismans out not knowing what really is ideal for my build but the new hp flask boost is always a must
The dried bouquet is even better than expected: there is a respawning summon (like Tibia Marinner summons), and it does proc the buff each time they fall on the ground. They can be killed for good, but it's not that often and they can proc you the buff for a long time repeatedly
Thanks for your little speech regarding defensive talismans. It was only thanks to the defensive stats that I was able to adequately learn bosses like Bayle or Rellana.
Hey, I just wanted to say I came across your content yesterday and you do amazing work! You don't over hype and explain facts vs opinion reasonably. Keep it up!
16:12 #13 Crusade Insignia: It's 20% more dmg for 15 secs NOT 20 secs and you can kill anything (not just enemies) and get the buff. I setup NPC Lugor (aka Wolverine) and killed a deer right before engaging him which proc'd the buff. Been using this combo quite regularly as most wild life dies w/ a single hit. You can even range attack w/ a Kukri to buff right before engaging a Crucible Knight.
Pearl Shield Talisman is a 20% boost, by the way, and the Two-headed Turtle Talisman doesn't offer a multiplicative boost, it's a flat +10 stamina per second, which is equivalent to a 22% increase (base stamina regeneration speed is 45 per second). This distinction matters because the Greenburst Crystal Tear, Pickled Turtle Necks, and Flame Grant Me Strength are all also flat increases, meaning they all the stack additively with each other and don't become more potent and give you additional stamina regeneration when used together like they would if they gave actual percentage boosts.
The Flamedrake Shield +3 is the anti-Messmer talisman. For anyone having a hard time with him, I’d highly recommend that one. Most of his hardest to avoid attacks involve the fire. Just wear it with armor with great pierce negation.
Crimson Amber Medallion +3 honestly was pretty good for me. I did the dlc before burning the erdtree, so I didn't have access to Shard of Alexander or Erdtree Favor +2 and honestly, the raw amount of damage it helps you take is incredible. +18 scadutree blessing against the final boss I was still getting shredded through the dragon shield talisman. That extra bit of health was what was between me winning and losing. Literally, I only had like 22 hp left at the end
“As long as you are alive there is a chance, and even if you don’t think you have a chance , as long as you’re still fighting you’re Learning” that should be the motto for souls games, like when they start a movie with a quote they should have this at the start of Elden Ring/the next FromSoftware game
Regarding the Dried Boquet: you get the Attack Power boost when UNDEAD Spirit Ashes “die”. So, if they’re able to resurrect themselves you can get the proc repeatedly. It does not seem to proc when they’re actually killed while trying to resurrect, though.
Blessed Dew Talisman is S tier. It allows people to always be able to complete long dungeons or play longer stretches between graces without running out of FP as you can just wait to get it back. There have been times, as a caster, you run out of FP and only have a few flasks before a boss fight. This negates that.
The firedrake abd pearldrake talismans are my go-to for furnace golems. Because like, most of your typical combat oriented talisman buffs don't work on them anyways and while their attacks are easy to dodge on paper, you pretty much always end up getting clipped by something, i.e. a stomp from a leg you couldn't see that very moment (you can usually time the jump using audio clues, but some of the stomp combos seem to have silent stomps) or because you tried to run out of the range of the jump explosion and got caught on an obstacle... When that happens, it's useful if the hit doesn't deal more damage than a single use of a flask can heal.
i found the Talisman of Lord's Bestowal useful for when I was first learning the fights, the poise buff lasts for a long enough that it helps with squishy caster builds.
I think blessed blue dew is getting undervalued by people who compare it to blessed dew (which has a bigger number and absolutely sucks,) but the thing is: on a random dex/faith build I have, BD would take over 1200 seconds to heal the full hp bar. BBD takes about 260 seconds to refill the entire fp bar. That fp bar can easily convert to healing incants and refill hp a couple times over. HP numbers can easily get into the thousands, FP rarely breaks a couple hundred. 1 hp/s is abysmal. 0.5fp/s is actually shockingly good - especially for things like using weapon arts or spells to poke enemies and draw aggro. Plus, pop on any healing incant and you practically never need to use a flask while exploring, which means you have them all saved up if you run into something spooky.
Two handed talisman also affect thrown weapon. +35% (two handed talisman, axe talisman, smithing talisman) on a fully charged 2h hammer throw is pretty nice.
@@nicolaspiazza4095 It a greathammer, that not the Star, it work much better with frost, if you want spike damage. Personally I use prayerful prayer on the smithscript hammer, frost is on the quickstep Milady that I switch to when it more time to throw golden disks at the enemy instead of hammer.
I haven't tried the combo together myself yet but st trina's smile might be better than initially thought here if combined with lulling branches, a craftable item that recharges FP and inflicts sleep buildup on you. With my build it takes 2 to inflict sleep but I have like 40 mind; a more regular build might be able to proc it in one lulling branch. It may not be as quick to self-proc as madness but at least solves the issue of needing to proc it on enemies to benefit, and has the added bonus of regening your FP quite quickly, which I'm sure will be great for spamming spells or AoW with this setup!
For anyone stuck with the final boss my build was arcane strength with blood affinity bloodfiend arm, talismans where axe haligdrake+3 (miquella's hair or whatever) twinhead turtle and dragoncrest greatshield. I was running white mask fingerprint shield bloodfiend arm endure. Stats where 60 20 60 50 Whatever in dex 16 34 80 Use this before nerfed. Took me 10-15 tries with it, Hope this helps!
There’s a haligtree soldier spirit ash that kills itself by blowing up meaning you can pretty much know when you’re gonna get that 20% bonus from that talisman.
Blessed Blue Dew Talisman at 17 is a crime. It fundamentally changes the mechanics of the game, making FP and everything FP provides regen renewable. This means infinite status heals, infinite HP flat heals, infinite ash of war uses, infinite spell and incantation use, you just have to wait a second. The amount of time you’re actually in combat in the game is quite low, most of the time you’re just getting this free regen. This functionally also replaces the very popular Carian Filigreed Crest because the regen can heal off the amount you would save from the talisman and more. This effect was on the simple infusion in DS3 and was essentially a requisite tool for any build. Prior to this talisman the only reliable FP regen was on kill, which doesn’t apply in transit. Total game changer.
The running attack talisman can be kinda cool with heavy thrusting sword running R2s. Leda's chestplate also buffs those along with dodge attacks and backstep attacks.
As I'm very high level (590) and I prefer versatility over being specialised in one area, none of the dlc talismans outweighed the value of the base game ones like Shard of Alexander, Godfrey Icon or Dragoncrest which is unfortunate
I love the two handed talisman, this gives us an actual benefit of two handing rather than powrstancing, which totally allows heavier armor without the arsenal charms or Erdtree favors.
Viable option for the Dried Bouquet is to use Soldjars of Fortune. It was the first thing that came to midlnd when I picked it up. Summon them, they run and blow up on boss basically acting as a glorified spell, and then you get the buff.
the charm that boosts running attacks might actually be very good for certain builds. i’m using the godskin peeler and the running attack hits like 5 times making it deal a lot of bleed and activate the multi hit talismans very fast so another +15% damage is pretty good

@@zisenye3419 been like that since day 1. Both Assassin's dagger talismans always activated twice for colossals. It's not a bug, it's a feature lol
only applies to regular game tho. most gamers have been doing the dlc on ng7 and they have 90% larger poise break requirements
@@Ylikollikasbloodfiend's arm is such an op weapon, used that, with stance damage buffs, a charged R2 can do over 60 stance damage
Something you missed, the Shattered Stone Talisman actually boosts any attack that looks like a kick, not just skills. And given the martial arts jumping heavy attack is two kicks, you can add it to a jump attack build for some pretty nutty results.
Shattered stone + Divine Bird Greaves + Gravebird’s Black Feathers + Claw Talisman + Milicent Prosthesis + Winged Sword
You can get some truly comedic buffs for spamming jump heavies with dryleaf arts

The talisman at 10:27 was so good that Youwy had no words for it lol
Didn't realize the Blasphemous Blade L2 attack counted as magma... that weapon never stops getting better xD
Yeah honestly we can safely say now it's the best weapon in the game
Just use boluses
@@wellingtonrodrigues7654 why not both? Proc the tali, use the bolus, unequip tali. ez
Smithscript shield aow is nasty in pvp. Not as crazy as Swift strike or rolling thunder perfume, but it likely won't get nerfed

FP regen is so good for exploration and dungeons. Slap on a heal
egen spell and never worry about entering a boss room without full flasks
Cerulean dagger on a great hammer / colossal hammer or axe. Crits proc it twice. Same for hp
Completely unrelated to the talisman video but does anyone else feel like the whole south of the map is basically empty or am I just missing things
I also feel like I’m missing shit but I’ve been avoiding looking much up for spoiler reasons, I think maybe we just need to explore more
i think its the lack of graces, makes the map look pretty barren down there
I think it's like half the south Is full of random shit like the cerulean cost and half Is completly empty like the finger ruins
MINOR SPOILER: there is a legacy dungeon that does not show on the map on the extreme south of the map.
Yes it’s like totally empty basically except for some random enemy encounters
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 that's not a bug. Their description literally says they spawn away from you. It's intentional.

17:37 was really great Youwy. "The best ability in this game is survivability. As long as you're alive, there's a chance. And if you think you don't have a chance of winning, as long as you're still fighting, you're learning as well."
I'm just a casual ER enjoyer but even I know that this isn't just wise gaming advice, this is good general life advice, too.
This is my guy for all ranking vids. Thanks, Youwy.
Crimson Seed Talisman can be equipped and unequipped when needed as well which also boosts its placement. Makes dungeons way more of a breeze
Thank you for testing everything for us🙏
Hey @youwy not sure if you noticed but the start of the Pearl Shield Talisman (10:27) your audio is cut off for several seconds.
How about the ice spear ash of war
@@Fayalite67 given that it throws a projectile out of the weapon, I'm assuming the Smith Talisman doesn't affect it, but I can look into it later.

4 of a kind dragoncrest talismans (phys, fire, lightning, perl) almost trivialized the Bayle fight
it definitely does not trilivise the Bayle fight.

I have heard that the ailment talisman duration is based on which status effect you are hit with. The poison resist effect lasts much longer than 30 seconds, and the amount of resist stat it gives you is much higher than the individual resist talismans.
first thing I tried when I found the talisman. I was annoyed at the nerf, this made it better.
Beloved stardust is actually really cool, because now for one talisman slot, you can run str/int with no dex and not be gimped by casting speed. Having like 12 dex is no longer a death sentence 😂
It never was. The casting speed difference is trivial.
You're taking 25% more damage for a bit under 30 virtual dex over the other one.
Plus, in the DLC, no matter your resistance, you are one or two hit anyways
not true, tanking is very viable in the DLC
@@mingQWERTY elden ring dlc nerf went hard
Quirk with Blade of Mercy:
The Talisman gives you the AR boost after the final hit of a weapon's usual critical hit, but if a weapon has a special aux effect (e.g. Bloodfiend's Arm), then the talisman will count to two hits, and it will count the mogblood aux effect as a critical hit. This means that the second hit of a stance break riposte with this talisman could be boosted by the effect without it already ticking.

It was only thanks to the defensive stats that I was able to adequately learn bosses like Bayle or Rellana.

Youwy working overtime and creating great and straight to the point content. Love your videos man!

As someone pointed out on the wiki; the Blue Dew talisman effectively allows you to keep Blessing's Boon up 24/7.
Blessed Dew Talisman is S tier. It allows people to always be able to complete long dungeons or play longer stretches between graces without running out of FP as you can just wait to get it back. There have been times, as a caster, you run out of FP and only have a few flasks before a boss fight. This negates that.
But that removes the tension that came from having to mindfully use your resources. Graces are already way too common.
Pretty happy with my playthrough, I did an offline build without help from anything and got all of these but 1

One thing about Dried Bouquet is that you can also use the Giant Rat Summon to save FP! It’s almost like it was meant for that summon.
Nice work man. You’re a saint for all your videos
Total game changer.
these no spoiler tierlists are dope asf bro 🙏🏽
2 handing has always been great for stance breaking
Viable option for the Dried Bouquet is to use Soldjars of Fortune. It was the first thing that came to midlnd when I picked it up. Summon them, they run and blow up on boss basically acting as a glorified spell, and then you get the buff.
