Don't worry. I also really like Spring Mario. It's not necessarily a good power up by any means, but it's just so much fun to use that it's impossible to get mad at its shortcomings.

This has just came to my mind that Super Mario Galaxy 2 actually takes place in a post-apocolyptic world like Mad Max. Power Stars are fuel they even pointed that out and that would explain why Mario would just go around killing these guys. I mean the boss in this episode was sleeping before Mario killed him! And just to further my comparison to Mad Max (to Fury Road)that fat guy is like Immortan Joe the leader of them all, Mario is his main killing guy and all the mushroom people are their goons ready to die for the greater good. Bowser recruited goombas, koopas etc. to protect the innocent!
+PBGGameplay, I don't know much at all about the layout of SMG2, but whenever the Twisty Trials Galaxy shows up, could you please do a star in that one?
He tries to upload those as often as possible however between recording for other things he has to progress in the game far enough to find a Bobblehead thus making their uploads fewer and farther between. Though I'm sure one is on its way.
for your next fan star episode do this star at boulder bowl galaxy its in world 2 or 3 or something, the boulder has a red circle on it and its a star where a gearmo wants you to bring a goomba to it, have fun good luck:)

Y'know, PBG, you brought all these coin comments upon yourself. Sure, nitpicky people would've noticed back in episode 17 when you didn't get that coin you needed, but people didn't start bringing it up a lot until you made that video pointing out that you did. It's like when Brutalmoose pointed out that he was going down the slippery slope to being that guy that reviews porn games on UA-cam, and nearly every video since then has had one or more comments like 'This isn't a porn game" and such. Plus, now you'll be so self-conscious about coins that you'll start messing up. That'll be bad when you please get the star for Bowser's Galaxy Generator in World 6!

I believe the issue with the coin was the fact you were low on health. The coins almost have no use in mario galaxy except healing.
