My tour one had water damage. And despite of them saying its not covered by their waranty since its not water proof. They still allowed me to send it back, and they sent me the m2 in return. Great service and this is the 2nd time they did this for me. Last time it didnt even have waranty anymore.
Same. Getting a replacement M2 for my broken y600nc in a week. I liked my old pair but it's discontinued. I was within the one year warranty tho. I hope the M2 is just as good if not better.

After watching alot of your videos I bought the XM5 a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them! They are my first anc headphones and I wanted to make sure to start with one of the best on the market. I fixed myself using duct tape because wasnt willing to spend more on a "trade in offer" and then 2 months later the left hinge snapped. A clear design flaw and something that ive found common in alot of 1 star reviews. Go for the jbl

Thanks for the detailed review. One question though if you still have them because it matters a lot to me : does the ANC work even with the audio cable plugged in ? (For both) I had headphones with ANC that I mostly used with the cable for 2 reasons : obvious better sound quality and better battery life (and later I realized that the Bluetooth connection was not very strong so it was another reason). So I really love this feature. I bought one (different brand) for my girlfriend and it can't have ANC when the jack is plugged in (kind of annoying in the airplane specifically).

Picked up the JBL headphones for 50% off at Best Buy. I was going to get a baseline 200$ CA set of headphones (skull candy crusher evo) but I found these 400$ CA headphones for the same price so I picked em up and thought I could just return them if I didn’t like them, and I’m glad I got them.
~~I got the JBL tour one m2 and have been enjoying it since, the personifi mode 2.0 is pretty good, and bass could be lacking, as it is a bit less than the sony one but its enjoyable and it wont bother you, the build quality is exceptional and much better than the sony xm5. So overall, the pros in my opinion for JBL tour one m2: 1.) Build Quality. 2.) Very good ANC ( cuts out 80% - 90% of background noise, depending on your environment. ) 3.) Crisp clear sounds with pretty good bass. 4.) The equalizers are neat. 5.) The app is easy to use, has builtin support for alexa, siri, google assisant. 6.) Spatial Audio ( makes a real difference in games, if you dont have dolby atmos audio engine ), tested in CS2, Valorant, R6 Siege. It even has Dolby Support, so if you open the Dolby application in windows and set up, you will see an option to specifically setup your headphones with dolby. 7.) Low Volume EQ boost, boosts the highs and lows frequencies, if you are listening to audio at low volumes. 9.) Good transprancy mode and the talk thru feature is pretty good. 10.) Passive noise cancellation of this headphones is awesome, it can easily remove atleast 60% of background noise with that alone. Cons: 1.) Very tight when you use for the first few weeks, it like grabs on your head and somewhat crushes, not too much, dont get me wrong, its not like its not comfortable to wear, it is, but it can bit much for new users using this device. 2.) No LDAC support, at this price it should atleast support aptx or aptx-LL, but only SBC and AAC is supported, the sound quality is amazing, but the LDAC code would have made this headphones even better with minimal audio quality loss. 3.) Weird pressure in your ears with ANC enabled, it is mostly due to the high frequency sound waves which is a copy of the background sounds in your environment, and its inverted, thus cancelling the sounds, and it also results in the compression of the eardrums, when you have ANC enabled, your ears will feel a significantly higher pressure, it can get painful? ( it hasn't for me after like regular 8 hours of use ) but something to be noted for. Is it worth to buy this? At its retail price, in INR, its 24,999, not worth the price, mainly because of no LDAC support, if you get this in sale, for lets say 20k, then yes, however the build quality and comfortablity of this headphones is exceptional, better than the sony xm5, atleast in build quality, its not very bass heavy like the sony xm5, but provides lively and vibrant sounds and adequate bass for your listening needs. I got this at a sale for around 20k and i chose this over the xm5 because of its build quality. Its a really amazing headphones and its worth upto 20k, not more, if you get this at a sale, then its a steal, it almost has all the features sony has, if not more, so no lacking there, but i really wish this would have LDAC codec support, then it would be worth the retail price, if not LDAC, atleast apt X or aptX-LL codecs.~~ Edit: I've been using the JBL Tour One M2 headphones and overall, I've had a mixed experience. Finally, a reliable Tour One M2 review. My only problem with tour one is, the volume is way too low. Like way too low. I crank it up to the highest when im at the gym and still not enough. Its like 70% of max of volume compared to Sony's. Plus not knowing the battery level on the headphone is quite annoying with the JBL.
@DHRME Just got the xm5 earbuds, but I'm still not sure if I should return them back and get the Bose QuietComfort Ultra or Jabra Elite 10? I love the Xm5, though so far, only had it one day. Any suggestions and advice will be much appreciated. What's key for me is Multipoint connection, which all earbuds have anyway, and so will the OC Ultra. Unfortunately, the spatial audio on xm5 is not best which is not necessary for everyone but I do think makes your audio experience more realistic but on the Sony its possible to use it on any music streaming services except the ones chosen by Sony themselves. Also, call quality is extremely vital as well, the Jabra's have a probably the best calling experince and quality out all the earbuds have so many calling features I feel other companies could learn from. ANC and Transparency mode is vital also, and I have to say that the two are no different to the ANC and Transparency mode on my XM4, I didnt really notice any real difference and did own the xm4 earbuds but I had to return them because my ears produce too much earwax eveb though I clean then alot but earwax still destroyed the foam tips and I have not had that problem yet with xm5 but I might if anyone has any tips please let me know. So, please, guys, like I said, your opinions and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The tour's are 100 cheaper and you get almost as good performance I just got them and I'm impressed they sound very nice.

Finally, a reliable Tour One M2 review. My only problem with tour one is, the volume is way too low. Like way too low. I crank it up to the highest when im at the gym and still not enough. Its like 70% of max of volume compared to Sony's. Plus not knowing the battery level on the headphone is quite annoying with the JBL.

@DHRME Just got the xm5 earbuds, but I'm still not sure if I should return them back and get the Bose QuietComfort Ultra or Jabra Elite 10? I love the Xm5, though so far, only had it one day. Any suggestions and advice will be much appreciated. What's key for me is Multipoint connection, which all earbuds have anyway, and so will the OC Ultra. Unfortunately, the spatial audio on xm5 is not best which is not necessary for everyone but I do think makes your audio experience more realistic but on the Sony its possible to use it on any music streaming services except the ones chosen by Sony themselves. Also, call quality is extremely vital as well, the Jabra's have a probably the best calling experince and quality out all the earbuds have so many calling features I feel other companies could learn from. ANC and Transparency mode is vital also, and I have to say that the two are no different to the ANC and Transparency mode on my XM4, I didnt really notice any real difference and did own the xm4 earbuds but I had to return them because my ears produce too much earwax eveb though I clean then alot but earwax still destroyed the foam tips and I have not had that problem yet with xm5 but I might if anyone has any tips please let me know. So, please, guys, like I said, your opinions and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
