this is so helpful! one thing i wish you guys would mention is sound leakage. i use my headphones in public + quiet places a lot, so i find that no sound leakage AND noise cancelling is the most important to me
M100 buds are popular these channels their and Picky not so P100 this community better talk about P100 before you realized a $500 headphone ain’t like P100 i have a Master & Dynamic it wasn’t fun like P100
I have the PX8 myself and for my needs it is the best of this selection. I had tried everyone from this group here. Why? best sound, best workmanship and best design. Price in Germany: €332
Part way through and enjoying the longer format. I'm glad you outlined your usage. For headphones adaptive ANC or easy to change is essential for my use. The Bose nc700 were fantastic as it has an easy to reach physical button to cycle through off/medium/full ANC. I use earbuds outdoors, not over ears, because I'm never sure how well they will do in rain and most reviewers don't mention ipx ratings or rain proof for headphones. And in the UK that's essential. Foldability is important for me. Battery life over 30 hrs or over 80hrs. Lightness of feel is crucial. Durability too (my edifier spirit stax s3 were a disaster purchase - great audio quality and battery, appalling usability and app).
As a fellow dutchmen, for me wind noise reduction is a MUST for me. As biking to work every day, nothing is more anoying then noise screwing with my music 😂. Keep it up guys!
Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, I recently began to follow your channel and I like it a lot. Regarding the noise canceling headphones 🎧 subject, I have the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 and before I bought them I tried the Bose QC and the Sony XM5 and I prefer the B&W over the Bose and Sony because the sound quality is better and the noise canceling isn’t that aggressive. I suffer from tinnitus and with aggressive noice canceling I have a lot of discomfort, the B&W don’t give me that feeling. Keep the good work, namaste 🙏
Watch out! Some headphones with the usb audio feature does not support the mic when wired! Happened to me with my Shure Aonic 50 Gen 1 (which was later corrected in Aonic 40 and Aonic 50 Gen2)
Just found out about the AKG N9 Hybrid headphones, could you try to get a pair for testing? Would be interested in these points at a asking price for 349,99€: - Noice Cancelling that bad? - LDAC 96kHz/32 bit possible or capped at 24bit? - ear cushions removable for exchange purpose once they are worn out? - microphone sounds through 2,4gHz dongle, and BT. Also, which transfer rate could be used through dongle? Like studio headphones with 192kHz/24Bit wired (more like 96kHz/24bit or 32bit wireless) I am in need of a LDAC headphones, and I take any alternative but Sony. And the sound examples of the AKG N9 sounded so much better than iPod Pro Max, and Sony WHXM4. I had the Technics EAH-A800 but their ANC, and build quality had too much flaws.
In terms of sound quality, are the bose qc ultra earbuds or bose qc ultra headphones better? With and without immersive audio? I know one is an earbud and one is a headphone, but I'm just curious.
One thing that reviewers almost never talk about (and this is NOT occlusion) is the transfer of body-born noises to earbuds, mostly the sound of you walking. On all earbuds, you get this low rumble with each step, but some are far worse than others in this respect.
Re physics: I think the always-worse-than-wired mic quality comes from BT's very limited bandwidth that has to be shared between receiving and transmitting
Great discussion with a ton of insights and practicality included. These are insights that we can depend on much more than on some other review channels...
This was super helpful. Lots of things I didn't think about but do change my experience with headphones in a practical way.
Awesome video gents, looking forward to part 2!

I’m really happy you finally talked about the Cambridge Audio
I’m stupid it’s not the P100 I thought it was lol

I've had the melomania 1+ and m100 and loved both of them. Audio quality (especially the mids), battery life, build quality...
I have the PX8 myself and for my needs it is the best of this selection. I had tried everyone from this group here. Why? best sound, best workmanship and best design. Price in Germany: €332
Nice in depth discussion. Thanks guys for putting up the time...

Good point! Higher NC will amplify the tinnitus sound.

True. This video was focused on headphones where we thought it was less of an issue.
Sir , what would you choose Between jabra elite 4 active , OnePlus buds 3 , and oppo enco air 3 pro . Please reply
Oneplus and Oppo are the same. I’d buy the Oneplus because it’s cheaper than the Oppo.
@@DHRME are they better than the jabras? Since you didn't mention jabras so are OnePlus ones better than jabras
@santanusahu7219 than the 4? Yeah I think so.
Need ur help.
I lack the bandwidth to watch your huge long one..
;-)
Need bookmarks /
Smaller chapters..
Cambridge Audio does 60 hrs with ANC on and 100 hrs ANC off with a replaceable battery and A/B amplification. Not even in the same solar system lol.
As… what?
Jbl tour one m2 for 660aed less then 160usd is it good choice over xm5
Re physics: I think the always-worse-than-wired mic quality comes from BT's very limited bandwidth that has to be shared between receiving and transmitting
Could be. But we aren't talking about richness of sound here, but elimination of background sounds.
Will you include the B&O Beoplay H100 in this list?

Guys, can you please review some budget IEMs that everyone can afford?
