- The Kentucky mom accused of shooting her young children, ages 6 and 9, entered a not guilty plea in court this week. Tiffanie Ann Lucas is being held on a $2 million bond. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesser Weber spoke with the stepmother of one of the victims, Michelle Rice, who says her family will accept nothing less than the death penalty for Lucas.

I tend to agree with that line of thinking. Not jumping to conclusions or talking about irrelevant topics like who dad may or may not have slept with. Focus on the issue here. CPS, the mom, and anyone who saw something and didn’t report. The family does say they reported btw. Maybe they felt their hands were tied or tried for custody and we don’t know yet. Let’s wait for facts to come out

The way she walked in that court like she’s untouchable. I lost a daughter and I was pregnant at the time. I was so detached from my son because I had lost my first child. Through grief, depression I still gave love to my child from an empty heart. I had two boys back to back and how dare she ? How do you kill them? Boys love their mom. I can’t imagine the sorrow in those kids eyes 😢

I was in a car accident in 2015 & I lost my beautiful daughter & my brother at the same time. My son & I survived. She was 3 & he (my son) was 2. I definitely get what you were saying about giving love from an empty/numb heart. I also had another son less than 2 years later. At times it felt almost perverse to have them without her. 🥺 I'm so sorry that you're also living with this pain & I hope that 1 day we'll be able to see their sweet little faces & make up for every second we lost with them. Imagine how the neighbor felt! Poor boys. They were way too cute and happy. This is so ridiculous.
It just seems so wrong that the father and the stepmother couldn’t obtain custody of the child, knowing what an awful person she was. Knowing that they’d already been in the system, knowing that she was a drug user, knowing that the home conditions were so awful. I just feel so bad for the stepmom and the dad that they couldn’t be the family that the child needed. This is such a terrible senseless situation. My nieces father took custody of his daughter when my sister her mother was a drug addict and couldn’t be a proper parent. Blessings to everybody involved.

If Tiffany was on drugs, prostituting, didn’t show up on her days for exchange and missing for a month, why didn’t Reese’s Dad take her to court to get full custody?
It’s not easy as it sounds to prove a mother unfit. The system backs women 1000% Look at all the programs in place to benefit mothers. I’ve seen fathers like myself gain custody but there’s too many opportunities for a mother to get the benefit of the doubt. Mothers get all the help for free at the father’s expense. But a father has to come off thousands, the money isn’t the issue but when you don’t it against machine it’s harder to win.

Two different dads
It sounds like step mom was involved with Jayden as well.
The oldest boy dad died couple years ago. The youngest boy dad is in relationship with the stepmother. What saddens me they weren’t buried together and didn’t have funeral together. Honestly no one saying what happened to Jayden he could’ve been cremated or buried in unmarked graves they do when no one claims the body.

They're trash. They want to take legal action against CPS, but couldn't get a lawyer to fight for custody. I know too many Dads who got lawyers and obtained custody or shared parenting.
If she was so sweet her and his father would have gotten full custody. Period. She didn't say one time that they even tried to get him out of that horrible situation. Just blamed everyone else, but his own father.

Unfortunately that’s not how this works. People like this woman and many more who snap amd have mental breaks chemical imbalances that cause this if that’s what caused this crazy people do not know they are crazy so your advise is not I’ll advised. They will not know that they are having psychological breaks during them. Maybe after MAYBE but not during. Not being rude just informative. Psychological ideations don’t work that way unfortunately for everyone. I don’t know enough about tk this cause to say one way or another if she had a psychotic break I just wanted to make that known. I have a Masters in psychology
I will wait for the court details and discovery etc, but I wonder if she meant that she was hearing voices talking to her from the WIFI. There are many conspiracy and paranormal forums and websites and people that discuss these topics. If she was hearing voices, she could have told a doctor. Especially if the voices were telling her to kill others. Even if she was seen as a insane person, telling someone could have saves the boys' lives. People claim satellites talking to them. She was doing drugs so maybe it was psychosis with a mix of a dark triad personality disorder and combined are a recipe for disaster. CPS dropped the ball on this one. :(

I was confused because she said they would try to keep him as long as possible, and then said, when it was time for the Mom to get him back, she wouldn't answer her phone. I wouldn't even be calling her to come pick him up. If she didn't come back for him,then just keep him and take her to court.. it was contradictory.

So what about Jayden. This lady is Reece's stepmom who only spoke about Reece and his funeral. Nothing about Jayden other than how terrible it was to find that it was Jayden's body wearing Reece's outfit. I'm a bit bothered at the lack of attention for Jayden. Seems as if Reece's family separated the brothers after their passing with their focus solely on Reece. Reece had one brother who suffered just the same. At least, I'm glad that their souls are in a much better state now. Their killer mother, Tiffanie Lucas, is cuckoo.
Two different fathers. This stepmother likely didn’t have an extensive connection with the other kid, just one. That’s why.
Jayden’s father is dead and I very much doubt this monster let his family have access to his son. Grandparents have very little legal standing for visitation in the US.
I've seen Jayden's older brother and aunts in other channel. They were fighting to have him too. This is tragic and this monster of a woman should not be alive.

This is the hardest time of year to lose a loved one but it's horrific that it's a wee boy and let's face it he was murdered. I just want the family to know that they are in my prayer book. I lost my mum to cancer three years ago on the 26th of December followed by finding my Dad after he had unexpectedly but peacefully passed away in his sleep. We never thought that I would be the last one standing because my lifelong specialists gave me two years at the most to live which was realistic considering my extensive health history. Now when Christmas comes around I will also remember little Reece.
2 little boys died not just one - Reece and Jayden.

I didn't think I could go on after losing both my parents but knowing they are both at peace with no pain etc gives me a lot of comfort. I have an amazing best friend of 35 years (we met at school when we were 10) who has helped me through it along with her extended family I'm just accepted into their family. I have one sister who lives on the other side of the world who has made things twice as hard and has focused on our inheritance which disgusts me. I don't think it's crazy that you saw your dad as I had something similar happen after my Mum died. I started to see feathers in the backyard and I'd never seen them there before. Then on the first anniversary of her death Dad and I saw there were 8 tiny birds in our backyard flying in figure eights ducking and diving for about an hour. We both saw it as Mum coming to say hello. We never saw the birds again. When Dad died I never saw a feather and I choose to believe that it's because they are both happy and well together. I know right now going on may feel impossible but I promise you that it does get easier. If you ever want to talk to someone who understands message me on here. For now just focus on putting one foot in front of the other. You are in my prayers.

Dad is never going to get custody unless he proves in court that mom is a very bad mom. Like maybe doing hardcore drugs or very physically abusive. Under very rare cases will the court take the kids from mom n give the dad the kids

Believing someone is crazy is VERY different from being able to prove someone is crazy especially in any sort of custody type family court. It is incredibly frustrating to experience. Please don't blame the father and his wife, they too are victims of 😊the crime committed.

I somewhat agree with you. Not so much about the stepmom, but the father. I need to understand if the dad was trying to get joint or full custody. Of course not blaming anyone. But I am curious how hard the father fought, if he knew the circumstances of the biological mother.
Tbh it doesn't sound like this step mother hardly knew anything about the mother or the kids.
Possibly she's just terrible at expressing herself but answers are so short & almost open ended answers about basically everything.
I question how often her & their father actually saw her & the boys as well as knowing who they are as people based on her knowledge of the questions.

Well the stepmom did not try to fight for the boys either.. she admitted in this video that she never confronted the mom about her abusive behavior to the boys. So the stepmom knew all this was happening, but did not try hard enough for the boys
