Cowboy Cooking, Cast Iron, Outdoor Cooking, Grilling, Dutch Oven Cooking
Before mass media, people, ever creative beings that they are, had to fill the space with clever and entertaining banter. Kent is a perfect example of this.
You dont just make dishes you are warming the heart as well!
Thanks we try to do both and hope you feel like family when you watch
Kent and Shannon, thank you for ALL you do and, especially for sharing your joy for life. Kent you remind me so much of my dad, not the cowboy part, but your unbridled love of: food, family and, our great country (and those who serve). He did most of the cooking in our family and passed on that skill and passion to me and I'm passing it on to my son. Unfortunately I only discovered, you after God called him home a few years ago. I know he would have loved you guys as much as I do had we discovered you sooner. Watching your videos is the next best thing to cooking with him again and for this I can't thank you enough. God bless and keep you and yours always.
Looks a bit like a crumble we make here in England, usually using Apples or cherries but yeah the crumbly crust done the same way, more of a pudding than a pie but so darn good with creme or custard. Grandma used to make it the best when we would go down to the country in the summer time. Watching this really brought back some nice memories
Thanks for watching
" Bringing people together with food, that's what it's all about" best quote . Thanks Kent. Warm wishes and God bless.
MMMMmm!!!!!! Haven't finished watching this and I'm ready to be fed.
It must be special, you've got your good hat on. :)) As a disabled vet myself, thank you for the work you do raising awareness.
Thanks for your service

Thank you Kent and Shannon I made it the way you did it and Shelia and I with our grandkids greatly appreciated it. We did it in our Dutch oven of our chuckwagon that I just built. God Bless you both and God Bless America.
Best cooking channel ever !!!
Agreed, and there is stiff competition out there too.
Thanks Omar
Thanks Harold
Cowboy Kent Rollins none needed thank you for all you do and especially your great recipes !!!
The best. Better than Rachel Ray, Emeril, etc... Justin Wilson would be so proud.
I grew up making that same recipe in the 70's as a boy in the Boy Scouts. That is the best recipe for cobbler that there is.
Fine dinning it is
A million thank you's Ken. You're a wonderful man and I could not have a better cooking coach with the best phrases and recipes to pass down to the young'uns. Thank you again for all of your delicious meals, deserts and ideas. Subscriber for LIFE!!!
Thanks so much we appreciate you taking time to watch
Grandma and Memories!! I use to go berry picking with Grandma and we came home and she made cobblers! Still my favorite to this day. Thanks for sharing your family treasure too👍🇺🇸
You have taught me so much about how to correctly care for and use the 1950s Wagner skillet I inherited from my late grandmother, you have a wholesome, calming and genuine demeanor about you, your content is soothing to watch and listen to.
You are a living piece of Americana.
THANK YOU for being you
I hit "play all" on your videos since I'm working from home during this quarantine. I also decided to start using my cast iron a lot more to cook with since I had only used it for camping.
But I like the end of this video and I thought I'd leave a comment, I was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood "lost in the woods" for basic training in 2004 and again from 2005-2009. I wasn't much for the outdoors at the time but i met a lot of good people while I was there.
I really enjoy your channel. I lived in Indiana and Florida as a youth and southern food is among my favorite types of food. I'm not much of a seafood guy but I have watched and still watching anything else. Loads of useful tips and lots of inspiration for dishes to make!
I also like that you thank our service members and veterans in every video. It's one of those small thing you don't have to do but you do it and you have my respect and gratitude.
Keep cooking Mr. Rollins and I'll keep watching!
Thank you for watching Jeremy and thank you for your service

YUmmmm. I have been looking for a simple dessert like this for my family that reminds me of family. It doesn't get much better than this!
Sir. When ever I hear you thanking your Mother, and Grandmother for teaching you how to cook,,,,, I thank mine also. When I was about ten, Momma said I'm hungry is going to stop. You we either starve, wait til I cook, or learn how to cook. OKAY, teach me. It's one of the few things I love more than eating. God Bless you and Shannon.
Kent: God Bless you! My Grandma Cookie made the same type of peach cobbler. It was Sunday dessert. Her meal was Baked Ham, before that fact store bought brand at $200 dollars a ham! Criss cross cut, studded with whole cloves, brown spicy mustard and brown sugar, honey.
Old fashioned corn fritters with maple syrup, country green bean.
I followed her love of cooking, and did it for 40 years!
Thank God for momma and Grandmother.God bless them all

This was probably some of the best peach cobbler I've had thanks for sharing
I have to thank you it brought me back to my scout campouts it’s so good
My husband just introduced your channel. I may have to buy some bigger pants! But, most of all, Shannon is a very blessed lady to have a man who loves her so unabashedly. The world would be a better place if all husbands lived their wives like that. We just got some Chilton County Alabama peaches (by far the best peaches in the country, Georgia has nothing on them), from our neighbor. I can't wait to try this recipe out. Thank you for your tutelage, your inspiration, your patriotism and your love for the Father!
Thanks Linda I'm blessed to have her
Great recipe from a great couple! God Bless you both! Love, hugs and blessings always ~Lisa

Thanks Steve and God Bless you as well
I do believe that I remember something like this when I was in grade school, back when a whole big meal was a quarter. The food was so good there. Anyway, they had a dessert cup called apple crisp. Looks exactly like this, only it had apples in it. In those days, you could tell those school cooks had love in their hearts. It sure showed it by the food they gave us.
Yep, them was good school cooks

Crumbles and Cobblers were a favourite of my English grandmother and the whole family. Can't say I ever remember her making one from peaches........we love our Bramley Apple either with or without some blackberries. At our family farm we have a small 'orchard' and out the back a set of 4 disused pigpens with 2inch welded mesh fence type enclosures have fallen prey to blackberry brambles. Pies, Crumbles and Jams galore.
I do love some cobbler
Love me some peach cobbler! Thanks Kent and Shannon. God bless!
Thanks Jerry and God Bless you as well
To this day I still think of my paw paw and maw maw when I smell sausage smoking or a meal cooking with smoked sausage and Tasso;thank you for mentioning grandma and momma and our soldiers,my son gave his life for his country 7 years ago. You are a good man Kent.
Thank you Anthony and we salute the folks who have served and are now serving
Absolutely awesome peach cobbler,, Thanks for sharing Kent !

Looks great. Will try. God Bless y’all
Thank you Kent, as usual this is an awesome recipe. I especially like the bottom crust and the crisp topping. My Mother in Law had the best recipe for pie dough and was always making pies and home made bread. I don't know if she ever bought bread from the store. They had 10 kids and raised them all on the farm in Darlington, Idaho. Love, Love, Love your book.
I just can't get enough of your vedio I love the taste cast iron give to the food
Absolutely beautiful creation! You did again Kent, always out doing yourself!!! Yummy!!
