Sounds like Bethesda is taking a lot of notes from No Man's Sky for their games. The free camp for base building sounds like how NMS does it with their base building, and bases can be shared in NMS by players uploading them.
If only they actually did take notes from Hello Games. I mean I'm still waiting on the inverted Roof corner so that we can make T, U & + shaped houses super easy.
Not playing as much as I used to, with all the empty promises ect.... Yes expand the map and giving new events or endgame bosses is a seeing is believing also getting a bigger engine to drive the game is a good idea if that's how it works. Nice content.

Not because they are op, not because they are broken but because of the kiddos who only use them to show off or to ruin others playing experience.
Excited about the "Shared camps" feature. I've always looked forward building a CAMP with my wife. I hope it comes to life, and soon! I also hope the new Xpeditions travel to places like Capital Wasteland or Sierra Madre. Granted, this last one is a bit difficult given the distance but the BOS managed to do a similar trip, right? One can dream...
I hope the free cam building mode will allow some degree of no clipping, I've got flashing light sources that snapped to the inside of my Makeshift Mansion Pre-fab that I would love to be able to remove without destroying the entire camp lol

what game needs is building items as there were in modded f4 ( half walls, half circle floors,walls etc and the ability to toggle build everywhere so we dont have to spend hours in order to glitch a few items) Also plz dear bethesda stop trying to milk our wallets so god dam much... we already pay for 1st and atoms...chill a bit plz....
8:10 could be a fo76 version of camera building from Starfield? it would make sense to implement new features that they learned during the game's development
I think it would be pretty cool if they were to add different areas other than Appalachia where you can build your camp in, not only increasing the possibility of more people and camps but also camp budget since the stress on each area would be reduced due to separate areas, I feel as if they made an expansion where they added other places would be a huge benefit to fallout 76 and it would be a huge door opener for the game, it creates many possibilities from a designer side and player side. Now imagine being able to build your camp in another place and traveling back to Appalachia to obtain base game items and work your way back to the new area for unique and various different items to make the game feel more like a journey and make you feel like a true wonderer. Edit: maybe even add a way of travel such as a bullet train and subway station for a unique traveling experience, plus being able to loot in the subway station would be a interesting concept
I think that they’re adding some fantastic cosmetic items. They really do need to increase the camp budget because we’re completely overloaded. Shared camps would be nice. It would be wonderful for friends to create an actual community camp. We try and we get sort of close but other than seeing each other in the distance that’s about it. The one glaring omission is gameplay. New daily events are nice but after you do them five times you’re done. A new world boss is nice but after you do it five times you’re done. There’s no progression anymore. Literally you can use the same build when you first started playing the game three years ago and you have no new armor no new weapons and yours powerful as he was way back when. One of the joys is the grind and the grind for new weapons and new armor that are more powerful than the ones you have. Grading for a new park bench to put in front of your camp is nice but at the end of the day the game becomes SimCity and not fallout 76 or any version of fallout. If they raised the enemy level two let’s say 125 and gave us new sets of armor and new weapons to work for. And actually made the game difficult because literally everyone in the game is a superhero and there is no difficulty whatsoever. When you can speed kill a world bus in under five seconds where’s the fun. You may get a new kitchen sink but you can’t use it because you’re at budget well again you’re back to SimCity. Anyway definitely gonna hop on for the update but without any progression it’s just a camp building game because really that’s what this is become a camp building game. And that’s unfortunate because they could do so much but I don’t think they’re ever going to. So I should stop complaining and just be glad that I get a new stove and a new hat lol. As always your videos are wonderful, informative and I know they take a tremendous amount of time and work and effort and you do a fantastic job!

I'm sorry but I can't trust Bethesda about FO76 anymore they lied so many times. I realy liked FO76, but after 2 years playing it constatly and paying 15,- € for a few months I quit last december, because it only got worse. I realy hope it will get better, but I can't see it in the moment.

A half-promise that's vague enough to be forgotten but also vague enough that if they add any expansion to it they can pat themselves on their own backs for actually being true to their word. They said it about F76 prior to launch. It was a jury rigged hodge-podge of half mechanics and bugs. They said it about Wastelanders and all we've had is 1 BoS questline sold as 2 parts that got reviews that can be summed up "better than the launch story questlines but worse than Fallout 3". They said it about Daily Ops and that only got like... 2 updates? I welcome Bethesda to exceed my expectations but history has shown that Bethesda likes to add systems then abandon them or take literal years to add anything worth taking a look at. And as Ulysses would say "who are we if we do not know our history."
I've said several times but they shouldn't expand the map but add meaning to all these dead locations. Most players only visit 20% of the map a week, every location should have a reason to visit whether it be unique mini bosses such as at a location like west tek outside the building have a super mutant named gurtuk that is a 3 star and he has a 10% to drop a named weapon with unique perks. New factions like settlers and raiders should be added every 6 months to keep players logging in everyday. New random quests and npcs who give out quests should be added every month, a simple talk to this guy at the logging company, save his daughter from here, she tells you they kidnapped her boyfriend, save the boyfriend turns out he was working on a weapon for the blood eagles and you get the "junkyard dog" and it's a plan to build in your camp as a defense item the attacks enemy mobs. I think their is so much they can do but they develop really slow like 6 months to a year for content we finish in less than a week. They need to make content that will last alot longer.
Bethesda should take some notes from a game called 6 days in Fallujiah for maybe expanding the Pitt in the future. In 6days in Fallujiah they have a load screen you go through that randomly generates the city on the other side and the objectives with hostile npcs. Could be cool to use a similar generation mechanic to add side quests in the Pitt to expand the lore and gameplay

The biggest shock I take from this is that Bethesda still has any designers working 76! It felt like the game was being thrown together by monkeys and accountants!🤣🤣🤣 Increased camp budget, and easier building greatly welcome, but building is still greatly hampered by the abysmal console controls in build mode. Bethesda is going to have to do a LOT more to get me playing again.
I have a great boss idea: a giant hermit crab wich uses the bus textures as it’s shell and spawns tiny hermit crabs wich use the tiny car as it’s shell Similar to Earl and his wendigo spawning.(🦀+🚌) hopefully this becomes a reality 👍
It’s a good idea, though I would use the tank skins, and instead of a crab something more creepy, a new kind of monster! We need new creatures and environments, they tend to recycle all !
They could re-use the Nuka-World dlc for F4 and add a new space for F76. Just change a few things to make it 200 years younger and remove traders and raiders.
I don't want to share builds with people, I want to share ACTUAL camp space with friends. Something similar to Grounded, where we can both build the same camp together (regardless of what atom shop things you have)

Now that they have double eleven helping I expect new content will happen much faster which is a good thing. It took them forever to get to the expeditions! Fallout 76 has its base of dedicated players but if they can make this game live up to its potential the population could grow beyond that. Look at what happened with Rust after several years of updates and now with the new amazon series on the way who knows where we will end up. Maybe some day an entire new map to explore ? Fallout 76 New Vegas? The skies the limit really.
I really really want the craiders and foundation to have a reaction set of quests about the refugees from the pitt. Generally I want more craider vs foundation stuff tbh. I finished wastelanders and now they are a footnote.
Aside from Raiders using an abandoned theme park to live in (in 200 years!) how is any of this in any way immersive to the lore and Fallout? Spinning wheels to fight enemies? Really? Nuka style items is just more ways for people to make ridiculous camps. Anyone remember suffering and struggling in Fallout? People addicted to drugs, gangs massacring whole communities…. If we are getting a new boss fight giving us 3 different ones, surely it would be good to increase the amount of nukes that can be launched on each map? Hopefully they could put the count up to 6 per server. Then maybe I could get rid of all those heavy launch cards I have.
The servers can be knocked over with launching 3 at once. I don't think adding more will help. As for the launch cards, just sell it. In a player vendor or to a NPC. Caps is caps and it isn't hard to get more cards if you need more.
Okay more of a map thank god. I hope they add deathclaws on that side. I mean deathclaw island I was expecting more then 1 deathclaw since game release. Now im hope for more deathclaws then scorche or scorchebeast cause we the community clean those scorches out in that community event.
Again Bethesda doesn't listen. We don't want to share camps with friends as bad as we want to share them between our own characters so we don't have to waste untold materials to build 5 different camps.
Shared camps were kinda promised since day 1. Players have a demand on that since day 1. What you say is an interesting feature but you are the first i know of who wants that.
@Frank Taylor I play every single day and I only ever hear players say it would be nice to build a camp and be able to have to for every one of their characters instead of having to spend the time and materials to build 5. The larger % of players are not huge camp builders. Bethesda can't seem accept that is the facts.
I guess everyone saw this but while playing just a few minutes ago, with a new toon, and as I approached the White Springs I had the Expeditions message on the screen. A bit early are they not or has it just started early?
Assuming you are not playing the PTS version, this may be some of the background code for expeditions already being present in the game files and getting activated (too) early.
Honestly...they never think about bloody builds do they? every time I want to fight a queen I have to hope someone nukes it on the right side so Im not forced to go into a rad storm without power armor. And I definitely wouldn't wanna replace my armor with a hazmat suit or stealth suit cause then my defense would be gone. Im sad that there is no bloodied power armor that we can use because of that one issue. I even need earl to be nuked the right way so when I exit the cave I don't immediately get killed by rads from being outside for to long. I have to maintain my health by kinda spamming radaways to survive and get my rewards. It sucks...so I hope that this new boss has a similar way of nuking. It shouldn't even be that way but people have gotten so used to it that it's the norm. It's broken but I guess it's beneficial for the most part. I mean atleast I don't have to fight the queen in a rad storm. But when it's inside one I literally can't do it at all and have to skip it. 🤷
I usually go into my chinese suit for stealth to avoid getting hit by mobs. It's the only quick solution to go inside a nuked area without dying all the time while overemcumbered.
There are pros and cons for everything. The pro for a bloody build is damage output. The con is that you have to avoid radiation. The pro for a full health build is that you can take a lot of radiation. The con is that you cannot do as much damage. That feels balanced to me.
how often do people "nuke wrong" in your experience? For me, majority of Fissure Prime nukes leave Drop Site V9 or Forward Station Delta as the rally points. I can probably count in one hand the few times in a month that I'd see someone hit both those points in the nuke zone. I play on PC during early APAC hours/late US hours, so mileage may vary.

New camp items are always welcome but its time... in fact, its way overdue that we get a camp budget boost ! ( A boost of 25 -50% leaning very hard towards 50% }
@@LeftysRage Don't get me wrong, 4th star is a great thing. But i use some two star legendaries on my chars which are op already. The mechanics, the bugs and the lack of content is immanently more important. Maybe dropping is the wrong word. They should list it way down on the priority list.

Region boss, they should bring a boss to every region like the green zone and toxic valley, and the swamp after this nuka world event.
the nuke should be loaded onto the roller coaster car, and give you time to evacuate, before it falls through the gap and triggers the event

The pitt neighborhood shelter entrance should be a vertibot you place at your camp. Not a cellar door! Cmon guys!!

They are adding nuka candy, so who knows, maybe they will release new recipes too.

If we are getting a new boss fight giving us 3 different ones, surely it would be good to increase the amount of nukes that can be launched on each map? Hopefully they could put the count up to 6 per server. Then maybe I could get rid of all those heavy launch cards I have.
The servers can be knocked over with launching 3 at once. I don't think adding more will help. As for the launch cards, just sell it. In a player vendor or to a NPC. Caps is caps and it isn't hard to get more cards if you need more.
Its time for them to deliver. The game needs to take the next step forward and I think expeditions are too separated from the world to do that.

Okay more of a map thank god. I hope they add deathclaws on that side. I mean deathclaw island I was expecting more then 1 deathclaw since game release. Now im hope for more deathclaws then scorche or scorchebeast cause we the community clean those scorches out in that community event.

Again Bethesda doesn't listen. We don't want to share camps with friends as bad as we want to share them between our own characters so we don't have to waste untold materials to build 5 different camps.
Shared camps were kinda promised since day 1. Players have a demand on that since day 1.
What you say is an interesting feature but you are the first i know of who wants that.
@Frank Taylor I play every single day and I only ever hear players say it would be nice to build a camp and be able to have to for every one of their characters instead of having to spend the time and materials to build 5. The larger % of players are not huge camp builders. Bethesda can't seem accept that is the facts.

I really wish they'd add that shelter door to the utility room and other ones as well. I actually like it since it looks like an actual shelter door.
No new maps and story content ..the updates seem lame IMO....

I guess everyone saw this but while playing just a few minutes ago, with a new toon, and as I approached the White Springs I had the Expeditions message on the screen. A bit early are they not or has it just started early?
Assuming you are not playing the PTS version, this may be some of the background code for expeditions already being present in the game files and getting activated (too) early.
Honestly...they never think about bloody builds do they? every time I want to fight a queen I have to hope someone nukes it on the right side so Im not forced to go into a rad storm without power armor. And I definitely wouldn't wanna replace my armor with a hazmat suit or stealth suit cause then my defense would be gone. Im sad that there is no bloodied power armor that we can use because of that one issue. I even need earl to be nuked the right way so when I exit the cave I don't immediately get killed by rads from being outside for to long. I have to maintain my health by kinda spamming radaways to survive and get my rewards. It sucks...so I hope that this new boss has a similar way of nuking. It shouldn't even be that way but people have gotten so used to it that it's the norm. It's broken but I guess it's beneficial for the most part. I mean atleast I don't have to fight the queen in a rad storm. But when it's inside one I literally can't do it at all and have to skip it. 🤷
I usually go into my chinese suit for stealth to avoid getting hit by mobs. It's the only quick solution to go inside a nuked area without dying all the time while overemcumbered.
There are pros and cons for everything. The pro for a bloody build is damage output. The con is that you have to avoid radiation. The pro for a full health build is that you can take a lot of radiation. The con is that you cannot do as much damage. That feels balanced to me.
how often do people "nuke wrong" in your experience? For me, majority of Fissure Prime nukes leave Drop Site V9 or Forward Station Delta as the rally points. I can probably count in one hand the few times in a month that I'd see someone hit both those points in the nuke zone.
I play on PC during early APAC hours/late US hours, so mileage may vary.

@@LeftysRage Don't get me wrong, 4th star is a great thing. But i use some two star legendaries on my chars which are op already. The mechanics, the bugs and the lack of content is immanently more important. Maybe dropping is the wrong word. They should list it way down on the priority list.
@@torsteinnorbertson Agreed, the fixes should be prioritized but for the most part the game is in a stable state. Would be nice to have new features brought in an update instead of them fixing something they broke in a previous update.
