Sadly, the reputations of both planes are vastly different simply because of the weapons they carry in the game "hey let's give the raptor the super annoying qaam and the su 57 this amazing multipurpose fictional weapon that everyone loves."
You saying QAAMs are annoying because it can be shot at a 90 degrees angle and has a flight time more than a single showing of James Camerons Titanic movie.
If you talk real life the Russian SU-57 carries 8 missiles in stealth configuration like F-22 A Raptor. But the Raptor carries missiles with excellent Rader tracking vs SU-57 which carries missiles that are far less advanced and probably has very poor tracking.

@@nazmulhaque4551 Longer range on R-77 than AIM-120, that’s the only thing. The Raptor stealth makes up for that by staying undetected even whilst within range of R-77.

If you are a marksman: Su-57
If you want speedkill: F-22
Even being a marksman makes little sense if the weapons equipped to the aircraft ain't good at Turing fights that's what the SU-57 lacks and the F-22 is well equipped with however the SU-57 also has a design flaw as it cannot slow down very easily like the F-22 Raptor without stalling so to keep it up in the air you have to be over 600 km/h air speed whereas the F-22 only requires 587 km/h anything below that the Raptor would stall.
@@vmm9949 understandable but it's design flaws are elsewhere like for example It cannot perform a post stall manuver if the airspeed drops below 600 which the Raptor excels in this category, also the weapons such as the post lasers require a specific range which places you in the firing line of other players, the Raptors QAAMS can be used from Medium to Long range depending on the circumstance you are presented with.

SU-57 Pulse laser are good but, its capabilities are limited to targets Infront of it and they have to be in visual range, which is why I don't prefer the SU-57 with pulse lasers I like it because of the AA missiles due to their range and capabilities.

If someone asked me do I have a preference, I say I don’t. I really like both planes, they both are similar. Sure, the SU-57 or the “PAK FA” has the laser beams which turns it into an X wing from Star Wars, but it’s all personal preference in the player. Though the PLSL is kind of broken when you master it so technically it is a better plane, but I love both planes and use them often.
One thing that annoys me a bit about the Su-57 in game is the fact that it carries 4AAM rather than 6AAM.
You might be wondering what I’m talking about and if you are, look up the Su-57 weapons bays because those can clearly carry 3 missiles per bay.
I suppose that could be seen as a tiny nitpick but 6AAM just feel vastly superior to 4AAM and in many cases even 8AAM for that matter.
Many other aircraft carry more weapons as well. The only aircraft that can shoot all of its missile at once is SU-30SM. It has 6AAMs and have 6 hardpoints for those missiles.
Did you forget about the Su-35S?

That's true but are the weapons that you select are the best suited for the scenario that you have been presented with. That's something most people struggle to work out.
People say AAMS are the best I don't see how, it was nerfed ever since Ace Combat Assault Horizon where it's accuracy was potentially lethal, however the designers buffed up the accuracy and damage of QAAMS in the new game in Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown so you can say it's a counterbalance for the nerfing of the AAMS Homing accuracy. You may invest a lot in damage of a particular weapon but if it's accuracy is garbage than it's a waste of Money on the entire project itself.
One of the biggest things I've noticed in AC7, is the bars foe aircraft stats isn't entirely worth trusting, in this example, the F22 and SU57 have basically the same maneuverability bar, however, the Su57 actually outclassed the F22 in Yaw maneuverability, as well as maneuverability at low speeds, however you wouldn't be able to be told this by the bar because the F22s Average is the same from other aspects
Makes perfect sense from a real world standpoint too that the yaw would be better on the Felon. It's the difference between 3D thrust vectoring, and the 2D thrust vectoring on the F-22.
SU-57 with buffed up standard missile (damage upgrade lvl 2, reload speed lvl 2, homing capabilities and highspeed data link antenna misc.) partnered with PLSL is one of the op and probably broken build i've used especially on CQC situations. You can abuse shitload of fast-loading hurtful missiles while firing the PLSL, good luck avoiding that lmao
F-22 for me. Only reason I use the Su-57 in Ace Combat 7 is because of the laser guns. If the game were to allow the option to outfit any plane with any secondary weapon then I'd put the lasers on the F-22

In real life the su-57 has incredible maneuverability and the f22 has unmatched stealth and a classified radar system that’s minimum 20 yrs more advanced than any plane in the world. Probably why America doesn’t sale that plane to any country
yet it sells the F-35 Lightning II, which is supposedly even more advanced.
Although I think this is because the F-35 is built with modern electronics and future augmentation in mind. As to the radar, I have no clue.

actually F-22A also superiority in maneuverability against Su-57... and only thing Su-57 has is the 'operation range'.
Thrust ratio, supercruising, both thing is devastating in F-22A too 😂😂
The reason behind Su-57 ridiculous maneuverability is that when 2 squadrons of stealth fighter engage each other at BVR and then failed to lock on with fox 3, there are 2 options, first, just disengage and try to draw the enemies into the SAM site, or second, continue flying blind closer and closer toward each other and get in WVR and merge then try to fox 2 or gun each other down. In WVR, pilots' skill play big role, given both party has equal pilot skill the side with better maneuverability has higher chance to win and according to the real evidence of Su-57 brings Belkan Witchcraft into real life, F-22 will have to work very hard to compensate that. And BTW, F-35 does worked both in and outside of the US. It might not be able to fly like Flankers but if you want stealth F-16 or F/A-18 and you have fund then F-35 the best answer.

I’ve gotten so used to HVAA missiles that I’d prefer the YF23 over both of them. Oh yeah, and the YF23 is superior to both of them irl. F22 is still probably better in game though

I both probably have post stall recovery manuver but the raptors one works the SU-57s ones works but not till the tail is halfway in water meaning taking about 15% damage on the armour before it's automatic computer navigation kicks in to move it upwards.
Seeing these legendary stealth fighters reminds me Assault Horizon the duel of 2 Aces

The F-22 because of the 2 best accurate weapons the XSDB small diameter smart bomb and the QAAM with insane accuracy, even the AAMs don't have the same accuracy field like the QAAMs. Did anyone know that the QAAMS can be shot at a 90 degrees angle so you can say you can shoot at your enemy that is behind you without looking at him directly, while you are manuvering to avoid giving your enemy an opportunity to lock on to you.
QAAM doesnt exist in real life and it is only for short range

You don't need QAAMs in real life as the alternative to that is the AIM -120 D Scorpion as it has same agility and accuracy as QAAMs.

The SU-57 and the F-22 are pretty much the same so idk what to say but since I'm an F-22 fan I'd probably say F-22 is better.

So, GPB stands for General Purpose bomb, it’s a 500lb dummy bomb. And the graphic you showed clearly shows the Raptor carrries 2400 round on its gun vs the 800 for the 57.

For everything on statistics in the game f22 is better ignoring the QAAM but it depends on your personal preference
Doesn’t matter. They’d all still lose to the F15 EX. A flying tennis court with more missiles than flares, that can still fly Mach Jesus, shoot down satellites in orbit, and is the only fighter to go 104-0 in fights.

Also you didn't mention that the su57 has a 30mm gsh30-1 Autocannon
Personally, I prefer the Su-57, it's more nimble, and better in psm, the F22 is very good and has QAAM, but the 57 has PLSL. Not to mention SPW Off Lobbies. Both are great, but I'd say the 57 is slightly better.
The f-15 also got a PLSL, using the PLSL is just no skill. Brainless shooting through everything except clouds 😂

You cannot say for certain that 1 aircraft is best over the other as both of them have design flaws for example the SU-57 is far less stealthy than the F-22 Raptor and The F-35 lightning II due to the rivets sticking out from the surface of the skin of the aircraft it's not precision engineered like their American counterparts, however the F-22 Raptors flaws are that since it was precision engineered with 1996 vintage technology it is very difficult to upgrade the aircraft with modern computer software plus weapons suite and it's design were compromised due to budget limitations that's why it lacks the IRST and HMD the SU-57 has onboard it's design. Even the Antennas on the Raptor is resurfaced from the skin to preserve its stealth characteristics. The SU-57s Antennas are externally attached by rivets which pings a huge Rader return if detected by a nearby monitoring command and control station.

@@scootmg2 understandable but this is knowledge on the background of both aircraft most people here are quick on judging 1 aircraft over another without having the full background knowledge of both aircraft which I put forward for people to understand the ups and downs of both Aircraft design. There's an old saying never judge a book by its cover same applies to aircraft never judge an aircraft without understanding it's design aspects.

The F-22 Raptor and the F-35 lightning II the stealth coating on those 2 aircraft makes one look like a marble and the other like a golf ball vs the SU-57 which looks like an tennis ball in size in the sky if a Rader Station with SAM system was looking for the Raptor or the F-35 it will be struggling to find it without the clutter noise of other aircraft in the same airspace, where as the SU-57 will be easily detected as it does not have inlet ducts to reduce it's heat signature like the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning II. That's why it is good in its own respect but stealth wise not precision engineered like the Raptor or the lightning II.

Why did you say QAAM has best lock? From the stats I saw ingame, SAAM has better homing.
SAAM requires you to keep your nose on the target you are tracking, so it limits your mobility.
QAAMs can be shot at 90 degrees angle and if you have stage 2 upgrade online it is fatal against your opponents and it annoys most of your enemies as the 2nd stage upgrade gives it a tracking time almost equal to the running time of James Cameron's titanic movie.
But SAAM'S need you to maintain a constant track on the target till it is half-way towards the target, which leaves your 6 o'clock exposed to enemies behind you who can shoot you down as you are too focused on the enemy in front of you and not monitoring any other angle to where other enemies will target you from.

It's nickname was not the fire fox, but was known as FGFA advanced tactical fighter program before it received it's official designation as the SU-57, if you read about the F-22 Raptor before it received it's official designation it was designated as ATFPG by the Pentagon and the US Air force.

My Xbox one s is having to redownload my game I pray I still have all my aircraft and money I have the F-22 I've beat the game from flying at the end from going through a tunnel for about 50 mph and 3 closing doors and then take out the 5 columns of the antenna and fly to space pretty crazy but it won't allow me to purchase the SU-57 although I have to get SU-30 first to unlock the SU-57.
Than follow the chain in the aircraft tree to unlock as one aircraft chain is linked to another if you don't buy 1 it won't let you purchase the next aircraft, especially if they are much more advanced than your beginner aircraft.
I like the F-22 because I would be un-american if I didn't XD
I don't like the F-22 because it's an American Aircraft, I like it because it has years of R & D and billions of dollars in investment behind so the complete product don't have that many flaws and deficiency like the Russian SU-57 which has design flaws in many levels including the engine needed to power the aircraft as they have not invested much on engine or aircraft R&D over the years so their SU-57 is no match to the F-22 Raptor.
@Ricky Fontaine If you want to know where I got these answers to your questions I usually check out us airforce stuff once in a while when I am bored from studying that's how I came to get that much information about both countries advanced weapons technology.
@Ricky Fontaine the price tag for 1 F-22A Raptor is $150 million US dollars, the cost of the total R & D was $90 billion US dollars and having 1 of it flying for a day costs the US Taxpayers $68,000 it is Twice the price if compared to flying the F-35 Lightning II for a day only costs US Taxpayers $44,000, although the F-35 also cost the US Government a fortune with issues from the start with its engine and integration of new software as the cost of If I am correct was exceeding 190 billion which is why they delayed the project for long range AIM 260 air to air missile development and the B21 Raider development.

in my opinion both are great, it really depends on what type of mission it is or what opponents you are facing in muliplayer but if i had to choose i would go for the su 57
Same brother,i also got set up with the top ace of amreica and neither i or he scored on each other,yet i cant s rank 2 out of 23 mission,a friend told me those missions are glitched.

How did you remove the autostabilisation? I'd love to perform more maneuvers in the air but the auto stabilise is getting in the way of tighter turns and faster ascents
Auto stability is just the normal controls using expert controls is also getting rid of it
Honestly I’d say F-22 raptor is better. The bombs are op, if you can aim the machine gun it’s deadly as hell. With the right parts it’s missiles become a beast. And it already has good maneuverability. Sure the SU-57 is more agile by a bit and has the psl, but the bombs honestly just help with air to ground a lot and air to air combat in both vehicles isn’t a problem. Both machine guns are good if used correctly. If you combine the psl and machine gun and missiles you get devastating damage, but it goes for the bombs as well so ships aren’t a big deal. For air to air machine guns for the F-22 are faster so it’s better imo, and the stealth allows for better anti radar allowing you to stay in combat without the BEEP BEEP. Though the Su-57 hands down is better for air to air let’s be real that PSL is a beast in air to air. For air to ground the raptor wins every single time. Honestly it’s just mainly divided into two things. The F-22 is better cause of bombs, or the Su-57 is better cause of psl, I’d say raptor because, I have good aim with the psl and I use it well, but I still find myself running out of MSL 1 in some extensive missions, which is never a good thing of course

Lets just get to the fact that in REAL life the F 22 stealth has no rival and stand off strike ability, Unlike the game where you have to be so close to get a lock on it is silly ( but fun ) and snail QAAM's, really?
The SU -57 like most all Russian aircraft is questionable as they all proclaim such great ability but when opposed show little of their proclamation in real life,
but in the game it is remarkable and why does it have a "laser" and the F-22 zip?
Those who created the game give a long list of weapons, arms, goods etc, BUT one can not use them on every aircraft, WHY? if you spend X amount to get a laser and faster -longer range- larger hits- etc, BUT then can not use them together and worse NOT on every aircraft you own....seriously , why not?
Now I am old , I am not a kid anymore and my poor old hands and eyes are questionable at best, BUT I love the game anyway....😂🤣😂
Air to air is SU-57 and to ground is the F-22. I like the SU 57 because it’s more agile than the F 22 raptor even though it says less it has a extremely high skill base unlike the raptor which a new player could just master it immediately so I could understand why many players like to the F 22 raptor but being honest if you fly the Sue 57 for long enough and muster the lasers then you could be like the XO2 with The rail gun and every ace combat 7 Player who played multiplayer knows how devastating those things are

@@nazmulhaque4551 ... wut idk for me its the opposite the f22 has a short time for the pole stall maneuver and the su 57 has a longer time due to 3-D vectoring and also in the codes the F 22 raptor is literally The jet for those who wants to point and click no accuracy required so yes if you think that the F 22 raptor is better in terms of its missiles yes but I still prefer the soup 57 because it’s more agile. Nope it’s in the codes don’t try defending the f22
SU-57 weapons load makes it really heavy to manuver vs the Raptor that's why I said it takes time for the SU-57 to recover from post stall as It only recovers at lower altitude vs the Raptor recovering in high, medium and low altitude as the weight of the SU-57 with the advanced weaponry is too much it needs a lower altitude to recover, even the empty weight of the SU-57 is higher than the Raptors.

@@bpstreams7707 the F-22 is heavy as the SU-57 but what you are not understanding is once both aircraft are loaded with weapons payload and fuel the Raptor is far lighter in comparison to the SU-57 the weapons payload add no additional weight to the Raptor but, it adds extra weight to the SU-57 and Russian Aeronautics is still struggling to fix this problem alongside the reliable engine issue. But their press only addressed the engine issue but never addressed the fact that one of their SU-57 jets crashed after take off due to being overweight with fuel load and weapons. For short the SU-57 has far more defects vs the Raptor and it will take another couple of years before the aircraft becomes fully operational. By which the US will probably move on to six gen technology as I heard the US flew a 6th gen jet but it's kept under raps, so the info don't find its way to Chinese or Russian espionage agents hands.

I don't know if you guys watch DCS but I watch it and I found out that the SU-57 has 1 weakness, that is when it reaches its top speed it loses control over manuverbility and that probably is a key factor that the F-22 Raptor can exploit and pick the SU-57 off from a distance with the AIM 9x Sidewinder block II.
