The A 10 in a game thats only dogfights. is just not good, especially if your doing the ace quest. since you usually need a fast aircraft for the ace quests, especially the mission three ace, because you need to kill 8 jets in less than 90 second, and 40 of those will be wasted getting there with the a10.

Even in online my glorious F-15 was able to hold its own against F-22s and other endgame aircraft. Granted I was at the bottom of the list but it held its own remarkably well

In hard mode you have limited gun ammo and the bosses are a bit more difficult to beat. You can try to smooth the primary missile homing capabilities by applying the dedicated parts on your jet, but mostly it seems the developers didnt want the primary missile to be very efficient in a dog fight. That's why you should rely more on the gun and special weapon

I don't use it much, myself because I prefer the guided F22 weapons. However I have seen enough videos of them to know they are *devastating* once ya get em down.

The LACM on the Top Gun Su-57 has no joke one of the best anti-surface weapons and has the highest power, more then the FEAB. For retrospect 2 LACMs can easily destroy a platform through the deck in mission 11 showing however powerful it is whike also having very long range

As a relatively new player (just unlocked the Ace Campaign difficulty) I’m surprised the F-15E isn’t on here. It got me through the entire campaign, and is getting me through ace difficulty easily. It’s fast and multi-capable. Solid in air-to-air and air-to-ground, and parts can be switched around to make it favor one style or the other, depending on the missions needs
you can get through the campaign in almost any jet unless it's a dedicated bomber. He is talking about the jets capability in general which does include online mode.

I love darkstar. U can shoot down any craft that's in front of it without having to lock on first. What i do is equip the psls as special weapon, using it at the same time with the default psls as main gun u become a grim reaper. The handling sucks but with this fighter u wont really be chasing crafts much since most can be downed on first sight

Honestly, I disagree with the number one spot as some of the bonus packs can give better jets such as the Raven. I would still play with the wyvern though cause I don't like the concept of controlling a drone.
Honestly, I like Star Wars Squadrones better than I like Ace Combat. However, the Top Gun Maverick was the reason why I purchased the game. The movie is fun to watch. However, the game is pretty boring but is very realistic which is probably the only good thing about it.
Rafale is better than the Typhoon. Fast loading missiles allow you to launch a barrage at the enemy swapping missiles and react quicly to drones performing hi-G turns. Its Meteor long range loadout is unmatched since in AC7 most enemies can't dodge long range missiles because the AI focuses on shorts turns, inefficient against the only type of missile that adjusts its course in advance. Wyvern is not as versatile as F-22, at first glance you might think Wyvern is better due to its low speed stability with variable geometry and slightly better speed but it costs the maneuverability. F-22 is a better overall fighter-attacker and its DLC variant is even better for ground attacks.

Unpopular opinion but CFA is best plane in game one of the few planes I can destroy a x02 with and turn just as quick with 12 missiles at my disposal almost anytime 😅
CFA is the best multi role plane period. The admm can sweep a tone of ground targets in a single pass, the dual emls make boats and enemy planes a cake walk. Not to mention its speed amazing and maneuverability is stellar. In Battle for Farbanti, Long day, Fleet destruction, Unexpected visitor, Anchorhead raid, Lighthouse, Dark blue, Homeward, and Cape rainy are all the missions where my top scores are the cfa-44. its the perfect plane for all satiations

Rafale M should have made the list. HCAAs are like discount QAAMs. Not quite as good but you get a lot more. Plus LACMs and a lot of MSLs for ground attack. But the real advantage is between 600-1000kph, it'll outturn anything in the game
I find the Gripen E to be the best becausee no other plane has the LACM and the SASM. I don't know what you're basing your list on because the Super Hornet is garbage.

It is just air-to-ground capable, in dogfight its useless. Even in atg is not top tier, ther is at least 5 better jets. Its more like cameo.

Personally the XFA 27 is my favorite aircraft and its the 1 ive had most Success with. I gotta say its 1 or the best in this game too.

The Nosferatu is a DLC jet. Also, the UAV drones of the ADF-11F Raven Trump most other weapons

The top gun f14 is really good
I agree. It accelerates fast and even has higher top speed than the F22, also pretty maneuverable. Probably the best interceptor.
