The pitch isn’t influenced by pressure, it’s influenced by electrical resistance. If you press your palms harder on the contacts you’re also reducing the electrical resistance.
It's a midi controller, isn't it? all it does is send a digital signal "play this note" to a software. Just like a midi keyboard. You can set up a different tone with whatever software you're using.
why are there no tutorials on how to download and connect midi (soft or hard)ware to make this work and do i need external speakers, my touch me panel is lighting up like a christmass tree but cant get a synch to work .....what synch.....where do i find it......how do i work it.?????
Hmm i may make another video in this thing because it seems like everyone is super confused on what this is. You can connect it to any midi software on a computer. Any software synthesizer, drum machine etc. I've been using one in my phone called FluidSoftMidi. It should work very easily and with changing the midi device in the preferences of your software.
Hi... I have a question. If I were to strap this to my shoulders so each end was touching my skin, and my dance partner was rigged up in the same way. Would it work??
You'd want to attach it so that you are connected to one contact point and your partner is connected to another. When you touch each other it should complete the circuit and you will send the signal/make sound.
@@danilotrix I've used it a bunch, it's cool to take to jam with your friends. Also, there's lots of different ways to implement what objects you use to connect the electrodes.
@@danilotrix you can use literally anything that conducts electricity. Metal, water, life forms. You could get a friend and you each hold one of the electrodes and when you touch each other it'll make a sound. Basically the possibilities are nearly endless. Also since it's midi you can use it to control drum machines, sequencers, synthesizers any midi signal.
Can I ask how you changed the pitch when using the tomato? I've just seen these pop up in a facebook ad and your video was recommended after about 3 of their UA-cam videos. lol This I haven't seen explained and I'm incredibly curious. It's such a good idea.
The surface area impacts the pitch. So if the contact points are connected to a greater amount of tomato or whatever is your conductor, then the pitch will go higher. Greater surface area technically increases your pressure.
For those who have wired this up to themselves, do the clips hurt when squeezing the skin on your hands, fingers, toes, Etc? I'm slightly aprehensive about connecting it to people if it stings or it bruises or feels sore at the point of contact.
Well they are alligator clips, i wouldn't recommend connecting them to a person haha. A better solution is to connect something different to the clips, like a grounding strap.
I ordered mine but disregarding a lil extra shipping time for all the Russian stops, product arrived safely and is as shown dont be weary just because they’re Russian.
"Yeah it's pretty cool" - No it isn't. It will be cool when I can do this wirelessly and with something that doesn't sound like it is an 80's arcade game. Metal, distortion - anybody tried to hook it up that way? Could think of fuckall more irritating than listening to that keyboard whilst playing around all day.
You can program it to any sounds you want dude. It's midi and you can use it for any midi sound. There's some very good ones out there. I was just using a basic simple wave form to demonstrate how it works.
Lmfaooooo the Ad vs the reality. Thank you for this Bossman 😂
Yeah. Total trash lol

the tomato sounds pretty happy
but the water sound anxious

It sounds like the theme music for that creepy I Feel Fantastic video.

Omg lol I just got this!!! Hello Isaac.
Oh yeah! No way haha how do you like it so far?
I do not understand how to install it on iPhone 11 Pro Max with garage band
yeet meat that is cool
Can you get different sound textures? It sounded the same from a tomato to a cup of water. I am very disapointed

how do you hook it up to the speaker>? mine came with no instructions
Well it doesn't produce it's own sound it's just a midi controller. What are you using it to control?

🤔Sex sounds better than dancing
What’s the sense of this thing?
It's a cool midi controller. If you want a new way to process midi signals, bam this will do it.
@@isaactakeuchimusic what is cool? I guess you only used it for this video...

Clamped it to my nipples and nothing happened. Is this a known bug?

Where does the sound come from?
I'm using an app called fluidsynth. Any midi synthesizer can work though.
did you evver clamp it on a living tree or to a river?
I doubt the signal would be strong enough to pass through a tree but maybe I'm wrong.

They are €62 at the moment. I am considering purchasing one for sound therapy
