Thanks for coming in Lee! Had a good time showing you around 🤘🤘
Thanks for your time Jake!
Wow, that was a great incite as to what these companies are about
Thanks for taking us on a tour Lee, Appreciate it
Cheers
Stevo, Australia
Thanks Stevo
@@fdxcustomrods
I could go nuts in that place
My problem buying from there is the exchange rate $ & freight
Makes it expensive unfortunately
There is so much there that we don't get here 😢
@@Stevos_HookedonRods4844 - That is slowly changing when it comes to components, the exchange rate is what kills it
I didn't realize yall were at a 36% exchange rate. That's brutal. The freight isn't bad except for the blanks if you're willing to wait 2-3 weeks. I have shipped finished rods as far away as Korea, and that was expensive.
Awesome behind the scenes thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Nicholas
That was a great in store tour and explanation of everything by Jake.Wish they put together kits for us catfish bumping guys🤣
I agree I'm looking to build a catfish rod and was looking through their website and catalog not much info on catfish- so I did find a
7' 6" MHX MED HVY that I think will work along with titanium guides. Anyways this is a great video I always wanted to see what Mud Hole looks like inside. I wish they would have a warehouse on the West Coast I'd be like a kid in a candy store.
@@TomPereida yes,the store is not anything like I imagined.A beautiful showroom....Check out some of the Stryker blanks
Thanks, Lou. I'll ask about catfish specific kits.
Lee, thanks so much for what you put out, im learning so much
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Cool to see behind the scenes 👍
Yep, it was cool to get to see it. I thought yall would like it.
Ole Jake!!!!
Nice guy.
Good stuff sir!
Thanks!
Was interesting to see what happens there on the other side of the world when I place my orders, they are very efficient never had a problem and receive my stuff in South Africa within a week and intact!!
That system of pulling orders and shipping was amazing.
I would love 10 minutes in that shop
You're gonna need more than 10...😂
@@fdxcustomrods you're probably right about that
One of your best videos Lee...
Thanks Bob.
Great video, i wish they would put a warehouse on the West Coast I'd love shop there.
They will ship to anywhere.
Great video, those guys have everything but the kitchen sink, probably got one somewhere lol... So wish we had a big outlet like mud hole here in New Zealand...
Thanks for watching Karl!
I will be honest, I went from a 7 foot 50lb mh fast went over to the newer lighter rods, MAN the tech they have in there is amazing. The graphite, carbon fiber. Man light weight and strong. Can you do a video explaning how you get 70/30 splits and what size rods they have to be for 70/30 splits I am confused about those.
I'll put it on the list. Thanks for watching.
I was in the first rod building class at their new facilities there,
I bet that was fun
I like that
Thanks Floyd
For me (newer rod builder) its not the number of available parts that is overwhelming, but rather its trying to figure out which parts go together with which other parts. Some things don't fit together. There is a bit of knowledge required before one can just "order stuff".
That can still be a challenge when you get to be an older rod builder.
Cool place, where is this at?
Oviedo Florida
Good stuff sir!
Thanks Mike.
