My favorite technique is "no spin throw" 😆

My favorite used to be full spin, until I got used to the technique of no spin. Now that and instinctive half spin are too close to choose one lol I really just like throwing! Trying new or different styles/techniques just keeps it exciting and fun
For me instinctive half spin and military but I mostly throw instinctive half spin cause it's harder to stick military half spin in vertical grain target which I use mostly. Working on my end grain target and then I'll practice military style more.

Lol I had less then 1 foot grouping on the first day
Those throws in the intro are so smooth and so gentle yet they stick like it's butter.

Adam, my friend ! I have issue with my right arm, I need to stop knife throwing, shooting bow, sling, etc. I can't do anymore pushups or similar stuff, I can barely work. I took exemple from your courage, so I started throwing no-spin with left arm (off-hand) and it gives me goal to attain. Thanks to you Adam, you keep my morale up !
After 3 days, I'm proud to tell you that I'm (barely) able to stick 3 in a row from 2 meters with my off-hand !! Thanks and see you next time =D

I've been throwing for a while, but your tips have given me drastic improvements. Particularly how to hold the blades. I never really considering holding the blades differently. I've always been a half or full spin thrower, but you've inspired me to master the no spin. Thank you greatly and may you be found in His Favor at your appointed time!

I will try again with a half-spin. In my childhood i tried only full, double or no spin at all. Mixed success. I found it more easy and longer distance - throwing a tomahawk. It's all in the feel and muscle-memory, i guess.

If I could suggest a video/challenge, could you try throwing knives with no spin technique, but the targets appear at an unpredictable range? Like having a set of targets at various distances and somebody raises a random one for you

I once tried a REALLY fast spin throw with my small Thunderbolt.
The handle stabbed right into the wood!!! I couldn't imagine how deep it would be for the knife.

The one and only that kind of worked for me is half spin (2 m) ... with no-spin? no chance for now... I do not know if the knife used makes a huge difference but anyway, I would have to study more :-)
At what point do you start release of no spin
All I would say to any proper newbies is pick a style and stick with it for a while, I've found a day of throwing full spin really screws with my no spin when I go back to it......but others may feel different 🤔🗡️
And stick with the same knife/set for a while, really get a feel for them.

yes man, but not all of us have high quality knives.
For example, i stole some knives from the kitchen and in trying to learn with them...
I dont find this video usefull cause i see my moms knives are a lot less heavyer. Just plastic and iron and ive managed to do some rotate throws from the blade.
Its hard but it makes me satisfyed whenerver i hit right.
I don't understand how some people find spining trow easiest than no spin ...
