Everlast is very underrated. He is amazing and in all honesty his dissed to Eminem were good. I like both Everlast and Eminem. They are both great artists.
I always thought because of Eminem's lyrics in "I Just Don't Give A Fuck" where Eminem says "I'm everlasting" that maybe Everlast thought that was a diss.

When I was DJ for a UK rapper Jimmy Screech back in the noughties we supported Dilated Peoples at the Jazz Cafe in London once. After their set I asked if we could get some photos and they said yes but after they'd got back stage and changed etc.
We were in our dressing room raving to each other about how Dilated had just put on a hip hop clinic and how we needed to step our performance game up to their levels when Evidence politely knocked on the door to ask if we wanted those pics. We all got photos with them while trying (and in my case failing) not to fan boy too much and all three of them were so humble even to the point of complimenting our set. Babu told me he was feeling my cuts and Evidence told Jimmy he had bars so we both didn't stop grinning for a few days haha.
This is by far the best hip hop podcast out. Salute to Talib.

Em comes off the sameway to me, but has had MAD more experience with it. I been a fan since The Platform dropped, bought it the same week....and im from NY. They were never gonna be mainstream, just wasnt in the cards. I saw them a couple years ago, they did a big show in LA with Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, and Brother Ali
