Am I missing something that eminem is meant to have a club hit. Or play in some gangbangers car. That's thinking small time. That's stagnation. As a lyricist I wouldn't want my tune in a club as such. As its meant to be examined and appreciated not to shoot people to. Or at least that's how i feel. Imagine success being measured for how many clubs play your shit against how much shit you've sold to all demographics. Question time. Is B Real of cypress hill a guest in hip hop? Seen as the culture is black and he's Latin American.
Fawk he not our favorite rapper but he way better than most clowns. Hes a legend in alot of categories you must admit.

Lord Jamar talks about hiphop and still used black and white as different groups while hiphop is meant to unite.
Unite what 🧐 the point of hip hop is to be a ghetto news reporter of the struggle the happiness and if it hits a white ear they can be informed. But these record labels are not uniting the black community at all and neither are white rappers. They exploiting

That’s the story of every hood!
Vlad keeps that Jamar interview under his pillow man. He keeps egging this on. Btw...i never heard a brand Nubian song or Jamar in the club...or at anyone's car....since 97 for sure...
Squat, piss and moan.
That’s being generous. Brand Nubian hasn’t been relevant since 1992.
ya boy coconut head Wrong. Their 1998 album was great and “Don’t Let It Go To Your Head” got a lot of play on BET. Stop trying to rewrite history, just because YOU were a nerd and were listening to some nerd shit.
Sadat X and Grand Puba are dope though, strangely enough I never liked Jamar
Y'all youngins disgust me. Brand Nubian ain't relevant because they're damn near 50. Wtf would anyone wanna rap in this day and age at 50+? You young cats are silly. Name a relevant rap group other than Tribe that came out in this era. You can't...They're old and Probably touring y'all dumbasses
Who’s lord jamar. No disrespect just no clue who he is...
MultiKattwilliams he’s a pioneer from the group Brand Nubian
Due some research on this music you love.

No one cares. Rap don't have a color
Lord Jamar: Em ain't the best just because he sell a bunch of records!
Also Lord Jamar: Ain't no club playing Fall that's why it's wack!
Calvin Scherbarth lowkey was thinking this
Yeah but Fall isn't a club song though. That album isn't club lol
U not making sense
@Ajmal Ali There is a lot of diss songs that weren't playing in the clubs back then too. I guess Canibus and Nas's diss tracks were wack too. According to your logic.
@Ajmal Ali Em didn't record Fall because of Lord Jamar. Lord Jamar was one line, that song was coming out with or without that line anyway. Besides are you really trying to say LJ is a better rapper than EM? Because that is ridiculous. LJ hasn't put in half the time EM has perfecting his craft. EM lives, eats, and breathes rapping. The man is almost 50 holding his own with the top rappers of today. EM is probably working on his craft right now while LJ thinks about what to complain about next.
I respect how Conway put it in perspective.
As a white dude who likes hip hop, and understands I'm never gonna know what exactly it's like "being black". Why do we care what lord jamar thinks. He's feeding into the notion that black and white cultures should be separate things. Eminem is a skilled lyricist because he obsessivley writes raps ALL, THE, TIME. The man has boxes of notebooks with songs and rhymes in them. Whenever he thinks if shit he writes it down. He practiced, and it ended up working. That being said, the 2 guys at the top rn are kendrick and j cole. Drake is like a cross cultural icon, but as far as hardest and best rappers? Cole and kdot. Hip hop and the music before it has done more to heal racial divides than pretty much anything else. Now, we are still gonna say dumb white people shit if we arent racially familiar with black people. Because at the end of the day as much as we talk about "black people and white people" we are all human beings. We piss yellow, shit brown, and bleed red.
Robert Worthington We Piss Yellow, Shit Brown and Bleed Red 😂
Made my day
Because Lord Jamar is a True Hip Hop head and it's insulting to say that Eminem is som how the GOAT.....Also Blacks and Whits do have different cultures

I don’t know if we will because everyone wants to be a victim or stay a victim
The problem is the best rapper is white! JAMAR and VLAD are like 2 women. Wonder if Conway and EM new shit was in the club?
It's hard to get past that way of thinking if you can't get past that way of living
Hmmm.. White people created white supremacy. Not a black people thing. It's your own people who created and started this shit.
We get past it when white people denounce their ill gotten gains. This means any and all forms of generational wealth obtained through means of slavery, oppression, and discriminatory racist systems built for them to benefit off of others.
"They didnt llay that record in the club... so no black people heard it" so black people basically live in clubs and only listen to music there?
Jamar grew up middle class. What he knows of the actual hood is all second-hand. You might not play Eminem in the car with ya boys but when u sitting at the house by yaself with a blunt ur sneaking the curtain call CD into the CD player and appreciating skill. (In that time)
I really appreciate how down to earth this comment is.

Vlad don't ever compare yourself or put yourself in the same conversation as Em. This man went and influenced a whole school of rappers. You do interviews. It ain't the same bruh.
