- This egg sandwich is a New Market-style grilled egg sandwich with a creamy filling of mayonnaise and soft-boiled eggs, and a buttery brown crust. It is an exceedingly easy and light snack, a special treat for egg-lovers. We have made ours along the lines of the NV Stores (Free School Street) grilled egg-mayo sandwich, which, when out shopping in the New Market area you can't go wrong with. Just don't forget to order a glass of chilled mosambi juice to wash it down.

Well I don't know whether it can called a sandwich or not, jadavpur university campus, it's called g4..... sliced breads wrapped in omlet, stuffed with a broken chicken chop, salad, tomato and chilly sauce......

The best thing about bongs eats is that apart from the recipe itself , you get to learn many useful steps along the way.. although I loved n made the sandwich which was extremely delicious but the egg hack they showed us is extremely useful!!! I am a recent follower and am not a bengali, I am from Jaipur but we used to love the chowranghee lane rolls an outlet had opened in Delhi but the one near our college closed but the taste remained. Randomly searching for that roll brought me to your channel I must say you are by far the best cooking channel I have seen so far, the attention to detail, the presentation and the way the videos are shot is amazing thank you for introducing us to such amazing bong receipes also the roll that I made using your recipe reminded me of the Kolkata taste

You can spread mayo on the outside instead of butter as well, the egg in it actually makes the bread more crisp and browns it evenly. Just another option if someone doesn't have butter.
I make these at home but I only butter one side of the bread. I put a pat of butter in the pan and put the sandwich on top of it when it melts, unbuttered side down. I've made these with mayo instead of the butter and their good but I prefer the butter.

I love this sandwich! I make it regularly. Instead of coriander I use dry dill (because I always have that around) and sour cream instead of mayo (because I always have that. i don't eat mayo often enough to keep a jar around). Heaven!!!

Everything about this looks great except the coriander, but that's just me personal taste. Gonna try this!

Perfect breakfast. I also make egg sandwich for my family. Except i hard boil the eggs, then chop it. Then i mix mayonnaise and chopped onions and green chilli in it. This smooth mixture i apply inside the slices. Yummmmm😘😘

I tried to make it at home 😭 but bread broke into pieces 😭 and I failed to make, I brought bread from market at 10inr t I think that's why!! But I was failed to make it, then again I tired to make this in toaster, then I made it perfectly!
