It's so nice to see a van which doesn't have all the fancy walls and ceilings. I have a 21 year old Ford van and inside it looks very similar to this one. I love seeing her creative ways to make it all work. I like the way the solar panels are attached. I also have a fiberglass high top and I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to get solar panels on top of it. This is giving me much food for thought.
My ex built the frame to the measurements of the two panels. The legs were measured from a 1 inch gap between panel and roof to the topmost spot of metal on the side of the van. Inside walls were removed and wood blocks were glued in to offer more support for the bolts. Weather sealant silicone was applied under the screw plates and in the screw 🔩 bolts. Then they were tightened down. After one year, there are still no stress fractures on the van, either on the fiberglass roof or to the body of the van. Although, the rack itself should have been sealed with a thicker coat of sealant as SOME rust has dripped down the sides.
I have a dodge van that’s 2001 two I wish I had a high top, a lot of times I’m embarrassed when I go to the Van shows and Van gatherings everybody has their fancy 2020, 2022 vans. If I waited to do that I would’ve never got out on the road. It’s nice seeing somebody else with an older van.
Dearest Ayngell, May God continue to bless, protect and keep you. My friend was told he had a short time to live. He outlived the doctor that told him that! Just continue to believe God! Peace!
Surprising to see a cassette toilet at first, but before anyone makes a negative comment, watch the interview, and think about the medications, the LTVA pass and responsible disposal… thank you. Thanks for sharing your set up!
Window covers are so important, I tested it on a 102 degree day and my van was 25 degrees cooler with them in the windows, if you can't cover them all at least cover the windshield even that makes a big difference
Sorry to hear about Ayngell’s diagnosis but good for her for getting out there and living her dreams of travel. People continue to go through it all in our country and around our world. We just have to come together and be there for each other regardless of differences.
Awesome. I wonder about “slow draw” and the air conditioner? She’s a thriver. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this. I’m on low fixed income too. I was hit on my bicycle years ago. Brain and body injuries included. I got some solar panels , generator, berkey, wool blanket etc.. already to get started. Just doing what I can to head in that direction. I’ve been watching these videos for years 🤣. Thank you ❤️🙌🏼
Inspirational. She has a wonderful attitude. It was good to hear how she has taken ownership of the life and budget… and that her family has helped her but she isn’t dependent upon them. Super nice to hear her compliment her ex-husband too and that he used his time and talent to install the solar or repair the engine. So often we here bitterness and negatives of divorce. Her journey and story are refreshing.
It's so great to see Bob doing interviews. I love his energy and the fact that he respects and cares about the people he interviews come through loud and clear in his tone and mannerisms. The fact that he hasn't changed in the 15 years I've been acquainted with him just warms my heart. He was a nice guy 15 years ago when he was running cheaprvliving, living in a van, and helping people. Today he's a nice guy with a lot more money and recognition still helping people. Almost everyone else I've been following in the last 15 years has become unrecognizable or fell off the face of the earth. It's heartbreaking. Bob hasn't and I really appreciate it.
What strength, character, and resilience!! Wow!! Anygell, your story with the cancer is amazing in itself. Your story of having mental health issues and how you are working with the anxiety is inspiring. You are 100% correct about the judgement! I hope you enjoy many more years of health and travel! 🖤
It is great that she is doing things on her terms. She got the diagnosis and she said I am enjoying it on my terms. Good for her. My mother did the same thing when she given terminal diagnosis.
Good for you Ayngell ! You’ve gone through a lot and your positive outlook on life is very inspirational . Your rig has all the basics you need and it suits you just fine 👍 Keep on trucking and being happy 😃 👍🤗
Good for Ayngell living in a comfy van enjoying life and peace. I live quite rural and am not overly fond of neighbors (they can be such troublemakers) but I'd like her for a neighbor. She seems like a pleasant person who would be fun to know. Blessings, Ayngell, to you and your dogs.
Me either I just bought a house I only have one neighbor and it's the only one I'll ever have due to highway it's a corner lot. River across the street I'm selling RV for a boat ⛵😀. I have a SUV if I want to camp.
This was so great! I want to go back on the road and I will. Angel provided so much inspiration to me to keep going toward my dream...even if I'm close to 70 and have 2 parakeets to think about traveling with! Hoka Hey!
lovely lady, who is just doing her thing and making her way. The van works for her so that is great. Fantastic how she survived cancer and is still going strong! Wishing her good health and much love on her way!!! I love how you always support and validate people with positive feedback. That is really good! Warm kind greetings to you both!!
Great job with your van and life on the road Angyll!. I LOVE watching these types of videos of normal-wealth people instead of ones where people live in their $500,000 mansion on wheels. Angyll proves that anyone can do this.
God bless her giving a bad diagnosis yet she has the best attitude and outlook on life living in a vehicle when so many of us have a roof over our heads, a good job, family, cars and we complain about everything wrong in the world constantly so sad she's amazing.
Hi Bob I think this is perfect for every one who wants to live and Save and have something they own with out stress thank you for showing us I'm a fan of your channel always
Bob I have met you once seen you several times. You seem to truly care about people. You always find a way to make the downtrodden seem as if they are doing doing a wonderful thing. By the textbook definition I am downtrodden. I am 90 days out from retirement and I fit in nowhere. I have always seemed welcome anywhere nomads are at. Love this video love to see people that are happy where they are. Again thank you.
Unusually for me, I really like this van (I never have much liked US vans before) but this is about perfect! Great high top, really quite unique! One thing to consider, if you have a toilet that is not bolted down, if you have a hard frontal collision in your van the toilet may well become airborne within the van. Whilst there's the obvious danger of being hit by it, the other danger is that the waste holding tank may burst open on impact when it lands. As may be imagined, that would truly be a thing of horror...
Oh you give me hope that I can also do this! Love love love this video..Thank you for sharing your story I so relate to. I just know that my physical and mental health would be much better to do what you do. I am forced to be frugal due health and forced on disability. Great video Bob and Angell Adventures... being in Nature is Truly Healing. 💕
Good to see that she has the basics, it's more important to see the small things you need rather than you have a million followers and can buy anything.
I'd really like to meet you, Bob, and Ayngell. FINALLY, after years of delays and major health issues myself, I bought my 1997 Ford E150 camper van here in SoCal in mid-August, and was prepared to make the leap and head out by mid-Sept to the great unknown (my 50th bday is Sept. 8). Then, last week, I had a fluke fall accident and broke my clavicle! Now I'm stuck here once again, to my great dismay. As soon as I heal, though, I will be on the road to nowhere and everywhere. My goal is to make it in time to the RTR Winter 2023 in Quartzsite. I don't do Facebook and don't know anybody, so I'll try and just show up. If there are any tips for me until then, please lemme know! Ayngell is an inspiration to me, as I have also been dealing with major life-threatening illness and about to be doing the female solo vanlife. God bless..🙏✝️
Whoa... she's got it going on! Especially her solar! I've had several 90s dodge vans...when they crap out they're really seriously shot. I like her build and wish her all the best! 🤗💕
Yes, that little sweetheart really got my male dog upset. Mainly because at that time my male dog wasn't use to sharing ANYTHING and hated being away from me while the interview was taking place. 🙃
What a sweet set up you have! I honestly get a little claustrophobic with the rigs that are all paneled. I like the clean walls. I'm so happy for you and inspired to hit the road myself. All the blessings to you and your precious fur babies 💓
I would LOVE to live like her! That's why I am saving up to get a vehicle to live in!! My heart is set on living the nomadic lifestyle! She is an amazing person and you can tell she is happy and has a lot of love to give!!
I'm happy for her, inspired! Love her van, has everything essentially needed. Didn't say, but I'm certain there are burners for cooking because she has outlets! I'm so glad her Ex helped her with constructing necessary things. A lot of couples are on lousy terms with Ex es, he and she are exceptions! May God Bless you both, and those cute doggies too! ♥️🙏
Ayngell is a very nice lady. I wish her well on her travels. It was a simple van build. I'm sure it will change since she's just starting out. I'm glad she found her "happy place". I loved the super heros on her bed.
I just read that the Bureau of Land Management Yuma Arizona offers you the chance to live in a safe place for 7 months it costs $180 there's a gas station at the corner and you're only about 8 miles from Yuma itself for other things that you might need or want
Love her van.. learning to keep it simple is a learning curve. Two years later I still think I still have to much. So, I bought a 4x8 inclosed utility trailor fore all my extra goodies.(-: it's nice she has plenty of solar.
Thank you for sharing. Definitely going to drop by Ayngell Adventures and say hi. I have an old van as well they have so much character! I love your set up. I will drop by and say hello. I hope we can meet in Quartzite January 2023 😎 So glad you met up with Bob 😍
Thanks so much. That was very inspirational. She talked about the hooks she added to the side for putting up an awning. Just wonder how it works and is she able to keep the rain out. The part that hurt me the worst was the shame. That I would end up like that that; my friends would look down on me. But there's nothing to look down on so far with people I've seen doing this. They seem much more happier than I am struggling with too much rent. Thanks again!

My van is a 93 ford not built out going to have a trailer with gen and storage. Minimum stuff in van makes van feel bigger.
Most of those nicely built ones are not really Nomads, they’re just after subscribers.
Dearest Ayngell, May God continue to bless, protect and keep you. My friend was told he had a short time to live. He outlived the doctor that told him that! Just continue to believe God! Peace!
I do really prefer these old-school, classic Bob interviews. Keeping it real, with inspiring stories. 😍
this is what a person that actually lives the van life looks like. good stuff keep it up
Its doable and builds character. I'm awaiting disability and got sick last year and like freedom of mobile living.
I have received so many encouraging messages from your viewers. Thank you so much for the love!
Every home is what the owner likes or can afford. She has all the comforts she likes.
Surprising to see a cassette toilet at first, but before anyone makes a negative comment, watch the interview, and think about the medications, the LTVA pass and responsible disposal… thank you. Thanks for sharing your set up!
What's surprising about it? I've seen a lot of people in vans with those.
Window covers are so important, I tested it on a 102 degree day and my van was 25 degrees cooler with them in the windows, if you can't cover them all at least cover the windshield even that makes a big difference
@@lauravictorious4670 would you tell me how you made it, I struggle with the SoCal heat too.
She seems like an amazing lady. Good for her for getting out and enjoying life.
Sorry to hear about Ayngell’s diagnosis but good for her for getting out there and living her dreams of travel. People continue to go through it all in our country and around our world. We just have to come together and be there for each other regardless of differences.
💯❤
She has all the basics covered. Impressed to learn she has lithium batteries, diesel heater, and small A-C unit.
The LTVA membership very smart idea.
I only get $120 more on disability. I am thinking of doing the same thing. God Bless this woman. People should really help her out.
I just packed my van for my first camping trip to integrate into van life when I retire in 3 years.
Awesome. I wonder about “slow draw” and the air conditioner? She’s a thriver. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this. I’m on low fixed income too. I was hit on my bicycle years ago. Very courageous lady. Love her will power. Nice comfortable can. Happy journal to her. God bless.
She’s a smart lady, already knowing so much about living her van life after 6 months.
Most of us have to settle for living our Best life. Angyll gets to live her Beast life!

Angel is a wonderful brave lady. I wish her many years of happy travels
I love that Angel is finding happiness and Freedom. Good for her!!!

It's so nice to see someone else who gets on well enough with their ex and they help each other out. (I'm assuming u help him too)
It is great that she is doing things on her terms. She got the diagnosis and she said I am enjoying it on my terms. Good for her. My mother did the same thing when she given terminal diagnosis.

She is doing the best that she can. I hope that Bob can help her improve her situation like he did with Dee.
Angel is a joy to meet. Thanks Bob. She has what she needs and not what she doesn't. Hope to meet her some day.
Nice lady, nice set up. Cody likes her, too, and he's a good judge of character. I pray she has many more miles to explore.

More people need to listen to their heart and follow their dreams. I would love to spend a year or so doing this and see our country.
Inspirational indeed. Finding joy in life Thank you for the Van tour.
I admire her attitude & minimal style.
Enjoy life, you deserve it Ayngell!

Angyll is an inspiration. Thank you, Angyll. All the very best.
Love it and love her…stay strong girl.🙏🏼

True and with less or no stress just enjoying life allows us to live longer
Thank you for sharing your story and your home. God bless you.
Wonderful! What a savvy woman! May the best be with you and your adventures!
Wow, she appears super smart and calm - what a combination. Good she has left behind her illness.
A really great comfortable set up !
What a wonderful lady. God bless her. Very functional rig.
Its amazingly spacious in her home. Enjoyed this tour and this sweet lady.
Good to see that she has the basics, it's more important to see the small things you need rather than you have a million followers and can buy anything.

3:02 is that Cody making himself right at home?
Yes, that little sweetheart really got my male dog upset. Mainly because at that time my male dog wasn't use to sharing ANYTHING and hated being away from me while the interview was taking place. 🙃

Very impressive set up! Thank you for sharing!
What a nice lady. It's nice to see a build and low budget. It give me hope.
What a down to earth genuine lady Wishing you good heath & a great future 🤗💕
Very inspiring story. Safe travels...
I would LOVE to live like her! That's why I am saving up to get a vehicle to live in!! My heart is set on living the nomadic lifestyle! She is an amazing person and you can tell she is happy and has a lot of love to give!!
Gotta love this woman! Awesome to see someone reach for joy!
Angle, if you are ever in Seattle look me up, we can build those cabinets you want free of charge. Good luck to you.

God bless you! I hope that someday I will have the courage to take to the road!♥️♥️♥️
Thanks Angell! I admire you& your rolling home.
Now this is a strong lady. Bob if you only knew how many people you have helped. God bless you both.
She is my hero!!! Such a very special lady!!!

LOVE THE SUPERMAN COVER ❤
What a lovely woman! Great van. I want one 😑 totally jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What an amazing woman you are.
I'm headed over to that interview now. I wondered why I saw her video 2x. I wasn't very observant with the title. I just glazed over it.
So nice to see a van setup minimally. You don't have to spend alot of money to live comfortably. Great share. This lady is truly an inspiration.
God Bless her..
Amazing Woman!! You go girl!! Celebrate and Love your life!
Very inspiring. Thank you Ayngell and Bob.
Great video bob wonderful lady God bless both of you
Inspiring lady! Very practical set up. Thanks for sharing very useful info! I wish you many more years of travel and adventures!
Ann.
Very nice woman and interview, Thank you Bob🐕🐕👍🏼
Thank you for sharing. Definitely going to drop by Ayngell Adventures and say hi. I have an old van as well they have so much character! I love your set up. I will drop by and say hello. I hope we can meet in Quartzite January 2023 😎
So glad you met up with Bob 😍
Awesome lady Bob. She is amazing! Thank you!!
Your home is just wonderful. Xox
Thanks so much. That was very inspirational. She talked about the hooks she added to the side for putting up an awning. Just wonder how it works and is she able to keep the rain out. I've had to run a tarp all the way over my Van like hers. What I finally was able to get to work is so easy and works great. Thanks again. Teri Hope
Love this. Is there a fan? Love that she can stand up.
I love the CANdo attitude by all the peeps Bob gets to interview.
These are wonderful videos and I highly appreciate him. I moved in an apartment 3 years ago it was $1,000 a month and in 3 years it's gone up to $1,300 a month. My social security check is only $1,300 a month so I have to do a side hustle all I can to pay the rest of my bills. I'm 65, have medical problems and that's getting harder. I love to work but it's getting harder. You have really relieved mind so much I could almost cry right now. I might have to do this. And these people do this with such bravery and pride. The part that hurt me the worst was the shame. That I would end up like that that; my friends would look down on me. But there's nothing to look down on so far with people I've seen doing this. They seem much more happier than I am struggling with too much rent. Thanks again!
Congratulations on such a wonderful rig‼ Wishing you continued good health.
God bless you!!
Thank You 😊
This was fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing and asking all the best questions!
