Really enjoyed the JFK 50 history and athlete lineup! Hayden Hawks is a beast, listened to a podcast interview after the race, very humble and likeable guy. Looking forward to the Hoka 100 challenge later this month. This type of video is great to provide a little more insight and exposure to the ultra running sport and athletes. Thanks for the comment. Yes, Hayden is going to have a great year and with him on the Hoka team it should be very exciting in a couple days. I actually just posted a video about the Carbon X 2 Project. As for my 2021 plans, I may be doing a 50K in a few weeks, but don't have that set in stone. Main goal this year is to run at least one 50 miler and either a 100K or 100 miler. It really depends on what races actually happen this year! I may do some other smaller races, but those are the big "race goals" for the year. What's on your calendar?
Hi Runzization - Not that I am aware of right now. I’d suggest following the JFK 50 Mile FB page and Herald Mail Media. Also, if you aren’t following some of the coconini cowboys (twitter etc, Eric Senseman, and others), I’d suggest doing so as my guess is there will be others there to crew.

Sadly, Matt Daniels drops at about mile 40 stating health issues (maybe injury flaring up?).
