I’ve been trying for maybe 2 years now (since I was 20) no luck . The first year and a half was with my ex , the rest of the year is with my boyfriend now . Today someone decided to update me that my ex (who I tried with for a year and a half ) is having a baby 🥺🥺🥺 needless to say I’ve been crying uncontrollably not for my ex but because I feel there is something very wrong with me . Maybe not but it hurts . It hurts to see everyone else getting what I want so badly . I hope that one day I can have a child it’s a dream of mine . Trying not to lose hope but it’s hard
My own IVF doctor said “A little bit of science and a whole lot of God”. It’s truly a miracle. IVF is not a guarantee that u are going to get pregnant. So for it to actually stick and work is a BLESSING from God.

@@danicacovic6166 it absolutely is not. He knew my beliefs and I appreciated it. I've had plenty of drs pray with me that work at christian based hospitals. That is normal. He does not do that with every patient.

I’m 13 weeks with my first baby through IVF and when people would tell me ‘oh it’ll happen when you relax and just have fun’ was the most upsetting thing people would tell me!

I even had someone joking "are you sure you know how it's done?" And you find yourself thinking, this person has had the privilege to be born and my baby doesn't?

I completely agree. They want turn every science book in this medical world to keep people artificially alive, but are against this medical procedure, which, if they believe in God, is also an invention of God.
So does God pull the strings in every situation? We have free will for things to happen weather it is good or bad
As a born and raised Christian(Pentecostal) I see nothing wrong with you doing ivf. I swear ppl who claim they are Christian are far from being one. They make other Christians look bad 🙄 and that's why people stay away from church and it's so sad. Drs have a purpose on this earth for a reason and God blessed them with so much knowledge to help one in need. Most times we do need the assistance of them and their is nothing wrong with that.
When we went through IVF we kept it a big secret because we felt ashamed. No one in our family or friends needed to go through it. I'm very blessed to have my 2 oldest who were IVF baby and after all that struggles got out third who was naturally conceived.
The mini rant at 2:27... I felt that in my SOUL. Also... "You're so young! You've got time!" I'm sick of hearing that. If you aren't my gynecologist, stop presuming to know how my body works or how much time I have!!
I honestly think this video was a blessing and a sign. I just got done crying to my husband at work because I found out on Monday the reason I haven’t gotten pregnant (never been pregnant), so now I have to turn to IVF. Devastated isn’t even the word for me now. I’ve been crying since then. Then I see this pop up on my timeline. After watching this video, you have opened up my eyes. I now realize it is a blessing that I can still have some type of opportunity to get pregnant, even though they say the odds are against me, and that I have insurance that will pay for the majority of it. I have 3 friends that went through IVF and I haven’t confessed to them yet. But when I’m ready, I do have them for support. If you can have a miracle naturally, I can have one with IVF! The clip with you and your husband also made me laugh because that’s how dramatic I picture myself 😂🤣. Thank you for making this video Dulce and spreading positivity about the blessings of IVF and how to ignore any negative or ignorant comments. I was tearing myself down, telling myself I’m “old” and convincing myself it won’t work. I really needed this. Thank you ♥️

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been freaking out about my own IVF journey. I have my baseline appointment very soon and I just received my medications. I remember your channel from over ten years ago and I can’t believe how far you’ve come! Congratulations on your new addition!
The medications/hormones was my biggest concern too. Starting with the birth control. I was afraid I would go into depression. But it was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I made sure to meditate and do the things I needed to stay in a positive mental state.
I worked in IVF and it was such a beautiful experience to see these beautiful families going through it ! You explained it perfectly Dulce !
I see it as a horrifically traumatizing experience lol nothing pretty about it the women gets constant torture and you miss out on so much life gets put on hold for years while others prance around and get a baby for free
I truly feel that God influences doctors and nurses to have the knowledge and ability to come about with ivf. I know that God is mindful of all of us and our needs. Congrats to tour growing family. #Godisgoodalways

I enjoy hearing about your journey so much. IVF is a possibility in my future and educating myself on it has eased a lot of my fears and insecurities with the sheer possibility of requiring it. I have PCOS and it’s not a for sure meaning that you can’t get pregnant, but as someone who has deeply wanted children my whole life, it’s a terrifying diagnosis. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us.

Thank you for posting this! I am going into my first cycle of IVF after 2 failed IUIs and the 3rd IUI resulted in a miscarriage. You are so right in everything you said about the comments that people WITH KIDS make to people struggling with getting pregnant. I laughed when you said robot egg and robot sperm!!! I do agree that finding out why you aren't getting pregnant is empowering but there is a large population of women out there with unexplained infertility as myself and we may never know why which is very frustrating. Anyway, thanks and baby blessings!!

LOVE YOU DULCE! been following your videos and career since the beginning.. i love that you used your voice and experience in this video because it gives women like me hope . i am 43 and in a loving relationship and after having both my kids naturally i am struggling after 14 years to consider alternatives other than just "waiting to see if it happens " age plays a big part for me so this information is helpful with many women of all ages that are looking to get pregnant and are struggling . I have 6 year old twins - a boy and a girl- from IVF and I thank God every day for the blessing. The whole process is a work of science yes but also was of love and dedication of my husband and myself. We thank God for having blessed us with the outcome. It is no less of a miracle. Your entire video is spot on!! Especially the part about "relax" lol The best advice I heard while strugging getting pregnant was Dont stress about relaxing Worry all you want!!

@@pinkvalentine8846 Hi Sorry for the late reply! We put two just in case, hoping at least one would stick. Finding out that both did was actually pretty shocking considering my previous struggles.
Where I live, finding out the embryos gender in advance is illegal so their gender was a surprise too. Hope it helps!
The figuring out why part.. it’s such a privilege to know the WHY. There’s also “unexplained infertility” basically went through ALL exams and everything “looks great” but you’re still not able to conceive.
I’m so sorry to hear that during this beautiful phase of your life people are so judgmental and ignorant. People seem to forget to be loving, gentle and caring for one another. It’s so sad that we choose not to take care of one another like brothers and sisters. Instead, some choose to carry stones in their hands to hurt those who do good. We all live separate lives, and therefore we do what is best for OUR OWN lives! Dulce I believe you brought light to this delema of people judging very beautifully and gracefully! We women are already amazing as it is, but to go through with IVF, wow you’re just that much more amazing in my eyes! I just recently learned that IVF doesn’t always work, transfer eggs don’t always work, donor sperm doesn’t always work. Can’t imagine what hearing others opinions with all this going on is like.

We are prepping for transfer #5 😪 I wish I could go back and PGD test our embryos right from the start. We were trying to save on cost but if I could rewind time I woulda definitely spent the extra money, I think it woulda saved us so much heartache after 3 miscarriages and 1 failed transfer. Also I think it’s awesome that you and Desi are being open about your journeys! You both are brining so much awareness to infertility community 💕

If it wasn’t for IVF I would not have been able to get pregnant. Thank GOD for IVF!

Thank you dulce for sharing ❤️ My husband and I have been struggling for over 6yrs on getting pregnant. We had a failed IUI and next step will be IVF. All my tests are normal and my tubes are open. Doctor diagnosed me with pcos. We never received answers for why i have unexplained infertility. Unfortunately, IVF is very expensive and insurance does not cover. I’m so heartbroken that I cannot afford it so my chances of trying to get pregnant are very slim 😭 so you are definitely blessed that you and your family had the opportunity to do it and are successful. I wish you both the best of luck and hope one day I can do the procedure as well.

Im also so exhausted of hearing to relax and stop stressing i took 1.5 yr break and that didn’t work for me, we started our journey in 2016 ive had 3 miscarriages I’ve done 6 timed intercourse cycles and 2 IUI’s and im finally going to start IVF now. Im looking at videos/experiences so thank you! I’m so thankful i have insurance through work but still a lot for me financially. I hope this one works for me because i spent so much money on past treatments and tests idk if i can afford any more. 🤞🏽💕

Oh, my God, I needed this video so so much, we are in Turkey right now going through IVF. I am 37 now, and don't have children, we did IUI and did not work, removed polyp twice, my AMH is low, have cyst and really hope IVF will work. I get this "calm down" comment so many times, as well as "why don't you wait for while" comments. Thanks again for this video

I agree alot with what you are saying. It was one nosespray that made my hormons go crazy. All the other medication did nothing to my mood. It may just be a coincident but the only time I got pregnant, was when I went straight from the clinic and on vaccation. The other times I went home and straight to work the next day. I now have a beautiful almost 4 year old boy!

I had my OBGYN told me just relax and wait. When she could’ve atleast ordered blood work and referred me to a specialist. But no…. That’s when I knew she doesn’t care. I had to take matters into my own hands. Waited for over a year and a half. Nothing happens. It makes me upset to think that there’s providers out there like her. To them it’s just another pay check.
And lots of nosey coworkers.. saying “relax” or “it will come” “travel more” “enjoy your youth” not knowing that I’ve traveled more than enough in their lifetime, enjoyed my youth to the fullest, Both me and my husband are financially stable, live in a nice community. So for them to say those things is so naive and ignorant.
Very eloquently conveyed, you did a great job covering the genetic testing and it is more expensive but will save women the heartache of transferring an embryo that could not sustain life in the first place. 👍
Dulce, I’m a Christian and I think there’s nothing wrong with IVF. I have family members who are also Christian, and thanks to both God and IVF, they now have a beautiful baby boy, who will be one next month. Pay no mind to those who are spewing hate. I apologize that you had to endure that backlash. Please know that not all Christians subscribe to those mean and hateful views, because I do not think that way. I thank God for you, your life, your family, and for the gift of IVF God was able to bring into your life so that you and your family could have another beautiful baby boy. Omg yes I hated hearing to relax & don’t stress.. that’s when I’ll get pregnant, but like you my tubes were blocked and “relaxing” wasn’t the solution 😐 I was actually not stressed!!! Lol

I’m super late but thanks for sharing! Yes to the just relax comment. I smile when people say it but roll my eyes secretly. And clomid with IUI sent me down that deep rabbit hole! Omg it was awful! The most terrifying feeling for me. IVF is next but I’m taking a few months off first!
