Cool video, Dave! I recommend storing your PTO shafts separated. All it takes is a little moisture to start rusting the two halves together and then you really will have some content getting them apart. Also, sounds like there's a bad bearing or two on the "new" finish mower. I look forward to seeing more vids on this piece.

    Good morning
The power take-off must rotate at the right speed with the expected engine speed (+/-1000 rpm) after selecting the appropriate speed (forward or reverse) then the tool obviously does not rotate fast enough and does not cut anything at all, you should make adjustments the performance will be better.👍

I used a 6' finish for a while. Decided I was better off with a belly mower. Too awkward trying to mow grass with it stuck off the rear end like my bush hog. Nothing in the woods or field to worry about hitting with the hog. Too many obstacles trying to mow with the rear finish. Sure gave my neck workout looking back all the time,

Great. Now I want one. Would really make my lawn look better than the clumps the brush hog leaves behind. I dont know how you keep finding these deals. A tilt Equipment trailer for 1200 bucks. You just kerp finding great deals. On another note. I can picture you adding a nice two or three car garage on the right side of your house. A breezeway or a small 10 X 18 foot room. Then your garage. You can angle it too. But just make sure you put a nice game room or man cave above it. I can see it.

The guy that sold me the international tractor I was using also sold me this finish mower and trailer, by the way the tractor was a $1000 with the brush hog, and yes that the plan a breeze way and garage

I remember that video and at the time told you I was envious of you. I've past by there myself. But like you said. You have to be in the right place at the right time. Looking forward to the restoration of the trailer. You sure have plenty of stuff to work on, in future video's. Keep it up!

definitely a good mower and I agree with you totally whenever you can keep your machine clean you should, after all you are investing a lot of money into the machinery, I also think some painting to, I realized this at the wrong time of the year but I'm just saying always try to make your machines look clean and presentable especially if you are doing customers yards they look at your machinery and judge you that way to. Awesome job Dave I like this video

Woods makes some nice equipment. That is an unfortunate wet spot you have to deal with, grass makes it appear frequent enough to need remedying.

I like finish mowers for firmer ground. They don't do all that well in the sandy soil around my place because the deck is pretty heavy. The deck itself should last you forever! The spindles...not so much. I believe that deck has removable spindles so you can change out the bearings.

I thought while you’re washing it you might of lifted it up and washed underneath and checked the blades after your dad hit those rocks!👍
